The ladies here were lovely to us out of town last minute people! Cute and clean Country ice cream shop.A feel of an older time when I'd get ice cream as a child. Loved the space. Clean bathrooms. Great ice cream options! The giant burger and curly fries were good to be honest. The chili had no beans. And the cheese tots were great with the chili.I don't know if I'll ever be in this area again but it was worth the stop 100%

I can show anyone how these resteraunts do anyone anytime order food and I go pick it up for you if your food isn't cold burt to a harden crisp or just plain no good I will give you a 50.00 bill that's how bad they treat some ppl its not right the way they hold grudges .Parking: Poor parking hard to find a place to park

I had a giant hamburger with curly fries from here and just wow. The burger was legitimately big and the curly fries were the best seasoned fries i had. All food is made after you order it as well so expect it to be fresh and take 10 to 15 minutes. Well worth the wait though! The value of the meat and portions are superior to any fast food chain in Harlan.

Worst service in Harlan. I ordered one milkshake and it took 30 minutes. I watched 3 people that pulled up after me get their orders before me. Then the girl at the window got pissy and slammed the window. Don't waste your time going to this place.

The banana boat is named appropriately, it is HUGE!. I picked 3 of my favorite toppings. The burgers are hand patted and you can tell by appearance AND taste. Delicious!

Eat there at your own risk they literally take food to the back and scrape it off and send it back out cold and tore all to piece, there’s usually reason’s customers ask for items to be left off because of food allergies!! Dairy hut employees think it’s okay to bring the food that was wrong back out to me after they made it twice and it was still wrong first time we waited over a hr and 5 mins for out food and they lost our order and then promised it would be made right if we didn’t go thru with our refund and I have a food allergy so I asked for my food to be made a certain way, they took my food to the back I thought to throw it away and make me a new one nope that played with the burger scraped stuff off, picked cheese off and then put cold cheese on it and proceeded to send me back my burger it’s appalling that a lady that should be setting a example for the younger staff they employ watched her do that and serve me food that could have killed me because she thought I should eat it neways I asked for it to be made a certain way due to a allergy and she could have caused me to die had I eaten it thank god I always check my food before eating it I will not be back after the way they are doing things there it used to be the best cleanest place around I was super disappointed as I go here a few times a Week

Delicious food!!! Great workers. They have ice cream and all that goes along with that, but they also have great burgers!! For me it's a guilty pleasure when you just want to have on a cheat day! Make sure you try their hot fudge cake! 😋

Ordered over the phone spoke clearly ordered a chilli dog with cheese and mustard. The employee didn’t understand and asked me to repeat it so I did and employee still didn’t understand my order so I said “footling chilli dog with cheese and mustard no weenie” after I paid and got my food they gave me a plain footling no cheese no chilli just weenie and bun and then rudely passed it off as “that’s what I ordered” after I said footling with chilli cheese mustard and no weenie. I showed the employee the receipt where it said footlong chilli dog mustard and cheese no weenie and the employee rudely said “you done paid just take it” if it’s not what I ordered I shouldn’t have to take it. They are rude. And lady couldn’t even bother to refund or correct my order. Will be taking business elsewhere and i Influence you to do the same.not worth the money

Great place to eat. Clean and neat restaurant. Great service. The food was really good and acceptably moderately priced. Only slightly more than most fast food but the quality makes it worth it. And they serve lots of yummy ice cream.

This is truly a family favorite. The best place in Harlan to get a burger and/or a shake. They have almost every shake flavor under the sun and lots of sides, not just fries, but deep fried mushrooms, potato wedges, onion rings and more. The people who serve you are down-home friendly folks who won't forget to say "thank you" and "have a wonderful day" and what's more than that...they actually mean it! There is plenty of room for dining in as well as a couple of picnic tables outside. The prices are really nice too.

Do NOT recommend. Last month ate here with my son, cheeseburger was cold, his hotdog bun was wet???. Ate here yesterday and there was a hair in my coleslaw! I took it to the counter and the girl said okay. Then she disappeared to the back. Didn't even come back or offer to make it right. My family will not be back.

The last couple of times we got footlongs with everything.got home one tablespoon of chili on each footlong a piece here & there of onions. U pay that much & get a sorry soggy bun with a one tablespoon of chili for a foot long hotdog..called but the workers are always chating on the phone cant never call & get ahold of this place..its awful anymore.dont want to eat there again..

I work at dairy hut in harlan.. I think the food is awesome and the people I work with are the best. Sometimes it's hard when we have a lot of orders, so please be patient, because our food is worth the wait. And I saw a comment of her that said that service and food had declined. I'm not sure what your issue was, but please feel free to let us know. We can't improve if we don't know what we're doing wrong.

For those visiting Harlan or neighboring Evarts, you won't find a better place to eat than The Dairy Hut. I had the best burger I have had in ages... thick and juicy and perfectly cooked. Dont forget to try the onion rings. I don't know where they get their ice cream from but it is superior as well as I washed my meal down with a great chocolate shake. The service is fast for those on the go.

The best place to get ice cream, burgers, and hotdogs in town. They have a great selection of dessert items and it has an old school ice cream shop feel. It is a small local business that I think is the hidden treasure of food in Harlan. Tourist should definitely go experience it and also support a wonderful small business.

Top 3 of my favorite fast food places. The chili is amazing, I literally crave it and have to get my “fix” every few months lol. Their milkshakes are also awesome (highly recommend the peanut butter milkshake).
