This place is a good place to stay overall. The ONLY complaint I have is the people who own this hotel. They do NOT care about their employees, & they treat them like trash. I will not stay here again until these people are treated with respect & dignity. Do not worry, everyone will know about the experience I had at this TRASHY hotel. The ladies who worked up front were excellent & do not deserve the way they were treated.

We were just looking for a spot to crash and shower while in the area for Rock the Country. Super grateful that it wasn’t carpet and it was renovated recently. Unfortunately, the TV didn’t work. The real gems of this place are the people. Two lovely ladies checked us in and we watched them handle some sassy “Karens” that didn’t at all deserve their patience or kindness. Shout out to Adrienne and Kim!

Incredible stay. Just an overnight drop in, so we weren't expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised. Desk clerk saw I was in a wheelchair and gave us an accessible room without us asking..and we weren't charged extra for it like other hotel chains do. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The cook was very hospitable and entertaining. The entire staff were friendly and welcoming.Rooms: Very spacious and comfortableSafety: Updated security on doors was a nice surpriseFood & drinks: Beverages available all night thru vending machines as well as coffee and tea all day/ night

The hotel was very clean, I stayed in two rooms and they were both clean but the only reason I give this hotel 4 stars is because of how easy it is to hear someone walking around at night. You can hear them walking around at 12:00am. The location is also not that great, it’s quiet but No Lyft/Uber or taxis available and limited food delivery.

This hotel is no longer pet friendly. The website as of 11/19/2023 has not been updated. We had a reservation and only found out about change in policy on arrival. We were initially turned away, but after checking with an upper level manager, we were told we could stay if the dog was under 30 pounds (she is). With that being said, the night staff person was extremely nice and our room was clean.I advise calling to check on current pet policy.

Rooms were ok looked like they were updated in the past couple years at least. Beds comfortable. Shower head leaked like a siv. TV didn't work half the time. Stairway and upstairs hall reeked like weed and the carpets looked gross like they had old worn in oil and hadn't been washed in ages. The lobby was decent and the Continental breakfast was good. No elevator to second floor so if stairs are difficult make sure you request first floor. Staff was nice.

Pure garbage! Filthy stained carpets in the hallway. The mattres is probably one of the worst old spring mattresses I've ever encountered! It stinks! The 1982 spring are broken and sagging. I slept in basically a hole with wire springs poking me! Sketchy people hanging out with staff. Sketchy area and barely a couple of outside cameras. Never again! Very easy/close access to I-64. Many fast food options within walking distance. Directly across the road from Kentucky Christian University. An okay free breakfast for guests. Clean rooms and modern bathroom/shower fixtures. Roomy bathtub. There was one slight negative, the room heater had very minimal output. It seemed the blower vents were blocked except for a very small 4 inch size section of the vent (yes we actually measured it). We had set the blower to HIGH, at any of the lower settings there was no perceptible air flow. Possibly the units air filter is blocked/needs changing. Eventually after about 2 hours the room reached optimal temperature (had set the thermostat to 72°). The front desk said they would need to wait til Monday for maintenance to check it out. We were there for a Friday night stay.Rooms: Rooms were clean without any trace of tobacco smell or any unpleasant oders.Nearby activities: Kentucky Christian University is directly across the road from this motel.Walkability: Within walking distance to multiple fast food establishments and to Kentucky Christian University.

Shower had great pressure, A/C worked great, front desk staff was polite and accomidating, parking was more than ample for a large vehicle, and room had a refrigerator and microwave. Now the bad. My towels were stained and had a lot of hair on them. Not cool! The bathtub had plenty of hair in it too. The floor was dirty in the bathroom and bedroom. Ceiling had a lot of stains especially in the bathroom because there isn't a vent. Deadbolt and swing lock needed repaired from obvious vandalism. I know I didn't check into the Ritz and i can tolerate some outdated furnishings and decor, but cleanliness is not that hard to accomplish and honestly I have a hard time returning to a place that I find to be a bit sub par in the cleanliness department. I'll say again, the front desk staff was great.

Price to quality, it was worth it. A comfortable place to sleep, nothing fancy but also affordable, staff was pleasant, rooms were very clean!! (more so then some “upscale” locations I’ve experienced).This was a last minute reservation for our family of 6+2 dogs, based on the price I expected very little, I was pleasantly surprised by the relative new renovations and superior cleanliness.

Nice rooms fresh chocolate waffles for breakfast one of the nicer Super 8's I've stayed at.Walkability: Lots of fast food restaurants a grocery storeAnd a Love's truck stop in walking distance.The motel has their own truck/RV parking on site.And there's a big park to pay lot behind them and Loves. For the oversized load crowd.You can enter from the Loves entrance if your O.D. or their own street entrance if not O.D.

We were just passing through on our way back from NC to Lexington. Stayed one night (4/21/22), arrived late evening - 9pm. After 8hrs on road, Tammy at the front desk was a breath of fresh air, she was professional, accommodating and very pleasant! This was our 4th hotel while on the road, it was clean, quiet, rooms are nice, and had a hot breakfast in the morning with waffles and biscuits and gravy. The manager (I didn’t get her name) was also very accommodating with handling the morning set up for her guests, no detail was overlooked. The area seemed nice as well, many different places to get a meal if needed. Hotel is conveniently close to I-64. We were only there for one night, but it was very enjoyable and would definitely stay again. Thanks again Tammy!

Even though better than many Super 8s, this property is nothing special. The room had a strong, funky odor and the hallway was in dire need of a vacuuming. Breakfast was pretty meager but my room was very clean.That being said, it was better than many Super 8s but that's not saying much.

Check-in was fast and easy, the reception staff were friendly, and the room clean and well-maintained, though the HVAC unit was definitely anemic in my room and the fan barely blew regardless of the fan setting. Otherwise, the room was great for a budget room.WiFi was good and the property was fairly easy to locate, though coming into town well after dark and in the rain, it wasn't immediately visible on how to get there. I had to pull into the Love's parking area and look around to find it and figure out how to get to the property (it's right behind/East of the Love's).The property served a continental breakfast but I opted for alternative meal arrangements and can't comment on it beyond the fact that they had it. Overall good place for an overnight stop on my road trip across the country.

Staff is really nice. The rooms are clean and the price is great. It’s the noise. OMG the noise. There’s a sign out front that says pardon our mess while we’re improving. There is no sign that says any about construction noise nor did anyone tell me there would be construction going on directly above me. I mean in the room directly above me. I work night shift and stayed here strictly for work. I stayed almost a week and the only sleep I got was on the weekend. It was an absolutely horrible experience and the only thing I was told was that I could get a room in another hotel. I had already paid so no refund. No apology nothing.

Disgusting. I travel a TON. I've stayed in many a shady hotel and motel in my day. The room had "NO SMOKING" signs posted, and it reeked of stale cigarette smoke- so bad you could taste it. Floors had gaps in tile and were sticky and coated with some sort of slimy layer. Bathtub- visibly dirty. Patched, and visibly sticky, dirty spots. NO "Fs" were given that cleaning day. Towels stained. Sheets nasty. Had to remove one pillow it was so dirty. Curtain hanging on by a thread only to reveal a man sitting right outside- RIGHT OUTSIDE my window drinking a 6 pack all night and chain smoking cigarettes(almost joined him at this point because it was cleaner out there than in our room and he was obviously having a better time than I was- with his back RIGHT at my window). Bed uncomfortable and dogs barking all night. Guy next door hit snooze 20 times before we finally left, leaving the key on the counter because no one was there to check us out.

Our room was pretty clean. Our rooms didnt have carpet, it had vinyl that looked like wood, I liked that. Staff was very nice. Our beds weren't very comfortable but I don't think it would keep me from staying there again. It was a convenient location for us

They are serving a hot breakfast starting today!! And a buffet soup in the evening inside the lobby when I arrived my room had a tile floor!!! 😀 I really appreciate that since I travel with my pet. The room was clean my pillow smelled so yucky glad I brought my own it is sufficient for my needs Clean bathroom nice fixtures fresh paint I appreciate that when I’m away from my home. The staff were-accommodating and have good rates

Booked room. Smoking handicap accessible as my friend is a recent amputee. They put us on the 2nd floor. She did not have a prosthetic made yet. The room was non smoking as is the whole hotel. Day manager gave me a discount on my next room for 47.00. I go online and the online price is 41.00. Just make sure u get what u book. Oh yeah and the room they put us in was not cleaned from the previous customers. The manager who apparently resides on the property was awesome and came and cleaned the room as we waited. On the flip side I'd rather belly crawl across broken glass or have a vasectomy with a spoon instead of booking there again
