We had the seafood buffet. That was the only thing they were serving that night. The salad bar was bare minimum on toppings. The food was definitely not worth the price. And the $5 for 1 lb of crab legs was a waste. They were overcooked. My husband's drink was room temp, and my margarita was pretty much lemonade. And the service was understaffed.

We were in town for Thanksgiving and stopped by Thanksgiving morning in hopes we might be able to pick up a few last minute items. They were closed that day but one of the employees (managers? owners?) happened to be there doing some paperwork. He saw us and so very kindly opened the door and let us in to get our items. Highly recommend this store!

Surprised at the prices. Not bad for a tourist town. Bought some bad fishing worms. Brought the container back with the nasty worms several hours and The young lady refunded our purchase. Great service. She apologized for the issue.

They have a little of just about everything. Yes it’s a little more expensive than the big box store or chain grocery stores, but it’s right here local. I found their selection and prices palatable.

The cashier, Peggy, was sweet and polite. I looked around and was not spoken to by anyone but her. Not a word of greeting from anyone. The produce section was great.

Had everything we needed while staying nearby. Staff was friendly and the prices were great. Spent 5 bucks on a pork steak and mac n cheese hot plate and it was worth every penny.

Couldn't have asked for a better breakfast! We were biking through town and this was the only spot opened. Everyone was so nice and the food was hot, fresh, and homemade! Not to mention the free coffee refills! Definitely make this a stop on your way into LBL!

It's a small cafe in a grocery store. It was clean, the staff was nice and the food was pretty ok. It's probably a great place to go for lunch if you are working in the area.

The staff at Village Square were very polite and accommodating. There were 4 adults and 2 toddlers and we needed several items. As we are not from that area we were not familiar with what they offered or where it was located in their store. The young men working were early 20s and were very patient with the lot of us and our lack of organization. Their store was clean, stocked and as I said the staff were great. I would recommend this store to anyone. Thank you to the young gentleman who assisted us and made our Father's day just a bit easier.

Great store! We found everything we needed and more. The frozen seafood section is amazing.The liquor store has a really wide variety and several top quality options.We are happy to have this store ever time we come to our boat.

Had lunch in their cafe and the food was excellent! All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food is all fresh and prepared to order. Probably the least expensive meal we had over the weekend and one of the best. Great little grocery store too. If you're looking for a quick meal don't wait for a table at Patti's check out the Village Market!

Went in for some groceries. We are staying in Grand Rivers for a couple of days. My kids decided they wanted to try the cafe inside. We ended up getting a pizza, 2 orders of chicken tenders with fries and 2 sandwiches. Everything was delicious, but the customer service put it over the top excellent. The ladies working the counter were friendly, attentive, and patient as my kids were making up there minds. Thanks for a wonder experience from a out of town family.EDIT: I forgot to mention how awesome the cashier working the checkout was as well. Great job making out of towners feel so welcome.

I ran in to grab a sandwich and the deli worker was extremely rude. He looked at me several times and ignored me while I stood at the counter waiting for service. He finally approached and said they weren’t serving food anymore even though it was 2 o’clock. The website said they served deli food til 5 o’clock. I picked a sandwich up in the grocery section and it was absolutely disgusting. It stinks in there, the groceries are over priced, and the carry out food is terrible. It was a great waste of $20 for lunch food.

Clean & nicely kept up but prices are far more than most area businesses. The mark up is due to tourist and I believe they take advantage of the local home owners !Love my local businesses but can't support a price increase that hits hard when others are far cheaper!

I just had the cheeseburger and fries with a side salad. Yum! The burger was perfectly juicy, and set up well. The fries were salted well and cooked to perfection. The salad was good and she remembered no tomatoes. The clerk was amazingly nice and wonderful. I was orginally going to go to the bar to get the burger. I'm glad I went to the cafe instead, and I'll definitely come back again!

The Village Market was a great place to pick up groceries while we were camping at Canal Campgrounds. The people working there are very friendly. Prices are reasonable and the store is very clean. There is a good deli for a quick lunch. Very nice!

Amazing grocery store and cafe! The staff are so friendly and helpful! Can't say enough good things about this place! They have a large selection of Kentucky Proud products. Delicious food at the deli and so much more! Definitely have my business.
