We booked this place for a spontaneous night out and had such an amazing time. Shannon was so incredibly sweet and accomidating. When we arrived she gifted me with a bear and chocolate from the tree. Since we are early risers, she cooked and served an incredible breakfast hours ahead of her usual schedule. She and Chip offered pleasant company and conversation while we enjoyed our meal. We will certainly make another effort to visit in the summer.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose of the Lakes bed and breakfast recently. It is a beautiful place in a quiet laid back community. The service from check in to the end of our stay was extraordinary. The daily breakfast was delicious and we met so many wonderful travelers around the table. It was such an unexpected but amazing experience to have the owners Chip and Michael Lee present during our stay. We loved getting to hear about the history of Patti's settlement. The entire town of Grand Rivers, KY is amazing. The light display is second to none. We look forward to returning every year at Christmas time.

Great location staff were welcoming and very friendly. Made it feel like staying with friends. They had a big homemade breakfast for all costumers in the morning. They gave access to all customers to use their go carts at no extra charge to explore the nearby shops. There were walking trails nearby along with a park and several shops. Definitely worth another stay!

Beautiful bed and breakfast in the Grand Rivers area. The starlight room was perfect, with a king bed and private balcony, and as an added bonus, a second balcony at the end of a catwalk. The owners were very friendly and informative on Patti's settlement. The pool was opened and really nice, with plenty of floats and a deep end for jumping off a raised deck. The breakfast was delicious with a wide assortment of choices to pick from.

To say that this place is perfect, is an understatement. Every single extra you can hope for is included. This includes, large pool with slide, hot tub, massive top tier breakfast, great customer service and to top it off complimentary golf carts to roam around town whenever you please. I have stayed in countless hotels and b&b places and not many have come anywhere near the quality of this place. I highly recommend taking the time to stay here and enjoy the town while your here. Two thumbs way up!

My favorite place👍 Always wanted to go to a B & B, in fact it was on my bucket list. Room was comfy, clean and inviting. Breakfasts is the BEST and I mean BEST. Variety of foods was plentiful. You won’t have to eat again till the evening. Grounds are gorgeous, beautiful flowers, lots of birds, squirrels and a koi pond. Nice big salt water pool. Hot tub we enjoyed late evening. Complimentary golf carts at your disposal, which we used to go to dinner reservations at Pattis Restaurant for that infamous Pork Chop dinner. Complimentary coffee in big kitchen and usually 2 pies from Pattis and cookies to satisfy that sweet tooth craving you’ll get. My friend and I stayed 3 days and made reservations for another 3 days in November for the Christmas light viewing our first day there. I already had reservations for the last week in November with my poker ladies. In fact, we loved it so much I would LOVE to go back every month. The highlight of the stay had to be our time talking with Chip and Michael everyday. Chip and his fur baby come over everyday and spend time and he’s such a pleasure to spend time with. I could sit and talk to him and monopolize all of his time, he’s such a sweetheart. Michael can’t sit for long, he’s here, there, and everywhere. Doesn’t let any grass grow under his feet for sure. 2 nicer kinder generous people you’ll ever meet. Together for 48 years and all that love and warmth is so welcoming in this lovely Bed & Breakfast home they share with all of us.Put this on your bucket list, vacation list or just get away list to visit, you certainly won’t be disappointed and when you leave you will have 2 new friends.Rooms: Nice clean rooms, small refrigerator, comfortable beds and pillows, decks off most rooms. Great ambience. TV (too much to do to watch tv).

My family was who actually had the reservation and stayed here the whole weekend. My husband & I just drove up to spend the day w them on Fri, Sat, & Sun. The space was incredible! Clean, relaxing, quite, & conveniently located. The food was incredible too. Everyone was so SO friendly, accommodating, welcoming, & clearly just happy to be there, & it made for such a nice environment. My husband & I have already been talking about plans to just spend a weekend here even though we live 40 mins away. Highly recommend!!!

We checked into their bed and breakfast called Miss Pattis The Rose of the Lake Bed & Breakfast. It was a total delight. Appeared to be five or six rooms in the main house and another five or six around the pool area in miniature cabins. The courtyard was absolutely gorgeous with unique sculptures and gorgeous flowers and plants. What a great place for a family gathering or a wedding. They did even have a wedding chapel nearby. Our "Tuscan" room was perfect for a group of 3 or 4. The decor of the room and the main house was eclectic, and amazingly perfect.Although we failed to get a picture of the breakfast buffet, I must say it might have been the most fabulous part of the stay. Chip's husband Michael Lee prepared the biggest array of breakfast foods and casseroles I've ever seen on one table. From perfect sausage gravy with biscuits down to the white chocolate banana pudding, there was everything in between. Fresh fruit, grits casserole, fresh cooked bacon, homemade cream sicle pancakes, Southwest casserole, bread pudding and I can't even remember the other six or seven dishes

Absolutely love this place! It's so comfortable and has all the amenities a person can need. The pool and grounds are beautiful. The golf carts included are great for tooling around town or down to the lake. The owner is so interesting and kind. The staff is so friendly and hard working. And I've saved the best for last--the breakfast is incredible! We will keep bringing friends and family with us to experience the hospitality. Planning our next visit....

This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and it was amazing! The rooms are beautiful and private and comfortable. We had our own private entrance. Beautiful views. I watched the sun rise over the lake with my morning coffee. The staff is so incredibly nice and helpful. The pool is amazing. The staff really encouraged us to explore and have fun. We had golf cart access all the time to just take and explore. And then there was the breakfast! Absolutely amazing! We did a couples getaway and it was amazing. We are already planning our next trip there this time with my son as more of a family trip! We will be back for sure!

Very nice and quiet place. Everyone has a great personality, they make homemade cookies and pies during the afternoon for everyone to enjoy. And the breakfast is fantastic. Good place to enjoy while you are eating at pattis settlement or t-lawsons and shop at their stores and walk around looking at the festival of lights , or take in a Christmas play at the badget play house.

I debated on not writing this review because I want to be able to get a room anytime I want😄. This is the best gem in our area. It’s a little piece of heaven. Mike is probably one of the most kind and welcoming people I’ve met in a very long time. Chip did one hell of a good job and he is a living legend. The breakfast is phenomenal 10/10. The rooms are just so beautifully decorated and themed. The saltwater pool was so clean and beautiful. The deck the night lighting everything is gorgeous. I stayed here on July 7 and the next day I turned around and booked a room for the following week. You won’t want to leave this place. The staff members and employees were so upbeat and friendly and positive people. They really enjoy going to work everyday and you can tell. Kayla was extremely friendly upon our arrival and she did a great job and she’ll lead you in the right direction. I’m so happy about going back next week !

This was our 2nd time staying and it was just as amazing as the 1st! We love the atmosphere and food is beyond awesome. This time was a "girls only" trip with my mom and all the granddaughters as the youngest granddaughter was still talking about the last trip from four years ago. We are already planning another family trip back to the pool house, only this time we will have to bring even more of the family as word has spread that it's the best place ever!

We put down a deposit for the poolside cottage for a trip there, one of my dogs ended up with Cancer and is have Chemotherapy so we had to cancel our trip the owner refunded our deposit with no questions they are super nice people and great customer service. But we will be there next year..thank you for the great customer service. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed at when traveling. Breakfast comes with your room and O it is great. Enjoyed my stay at the cottage with my sister and brother. Accommodations are dated but the friendliness of staff made up for it. Beautiful, tasty breakfast both mornings was wonderful. Atmosphere is down home. A little updating of furniture and ample parking would be great! Service a 10. Enjoyed meeting Chip and Michael Lee.

The best B&B I have ever been to. From the moment we walked in and was greeted by the staff. They stopped whatever they were doing and gave us a complete tour of the rooms and surrounding amenities, which were beautiful. The breakfasts were outstanding and the Chef was amazing. Even when he was trying to get the massive amount of food ready for everyone, he did not hesitate to take the time to converse with each person. The food was very impressive, plentiful and not your "run of the mill" eggs and bacon. Souffles, Quiches, sausage, bacon w/herbs, potatoes, bread pudding w/bourbon sauce, muffins, sausage gravy and much more. Each person had access to a golfcart at anytime to use to get around. Swimming pool, hot tub and several places to sit around and enjoy the ambiance and zen background music. Wish I could remember everyone's name and thank them individually. Definitely will highly recommend to my friends and family.staff,

The house was very cozy & beautiful. The owners & staff seemed like old friends by the time we left. The breakfast was outstanding everyday. Very dog friendly place & everyone there loved the dogs & it felt like home. The pool area was beautiful but weather was to cold when we were there to use it. It was our first B&B , so they have set the bar very high. We want to go back next year. ❤️🐾

We have been going to The Rose for 8 years and have never disappointed. Chip and Michael Lee have built a little slice of Heaven on earth. Jonathon and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is worry-free. The pool (platform dive and slide), golf carts, proximity to local attractions and the overall ambiance of the place make sure that my family is entertained and my stress is zero. Cannot recommend enough!Oh, and the breakfast is to die for.
