Rooms were better then the Quality Inn my son and I stayed at the night before. Staff was awesome too. I've heard bad things about Motel 6 in the past but if all of them are like this one I would never stay anywhere else. Price for a king bed was great and they offer a military discount. Room was massive and the bed was very comfortable. HIGHLY recommend!!!

We were looking for a place to stay last night and they answered their phones and they had room for us.The room was very large and clean.The shower used to be an old jacuzzi but they updated the room and put a large shower in. (Bring your own toiletries such as shampoo, soap, etc).The shower had great pressure.The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great (I actually bought 2 to take home).The room had a desk chair, a little table with 2 chairs to sit on.It had a microwave and mini fridge to use (didn’t use either).I would recommend this hotel.CK, was at the front desk this morning, and he was great! Thank you CK!Rooms: Our room was great. Large, expansive and very clean!

The rooms are super clean and spacious! The manager and staff were very professional! Especially when he broke down to me all the restaurants in both directions!Air conditioner worked top notch too!Great place…..also extremely SAFE! I had stayed in Buffalo New York the day before not safe there!…and dirty!Thanks again for a safe clean place to rest!

We needed a room for the night before watching the 2024 Solar Eclipse in Paducah, Kentucky and landed at the Motel 6 in Grand Rapids. The owners were friendly and thoughtful and picked the perfect room for my friend and I to stay. We had an amazing nights sleep, with a little help from some white noise. Room was clean and comfortable.We were also blessed with one of the most beautiful rainbows I've seen in a long time!

Partner and I stayed here the night before the April 2024 Eclipse. We thought that this would be a good location to overnight before finding a location to observe the eclipse. Turns out the location was the only good thing about our experience. We paid $300 for the night! I've paid less to stay in a high end hotel in major cities. The check in experience was the opposite of welcoming with the over all feeling being that we were somehow inconveniencing them. The room was poorly maintained and, while the internet was free, it was so slow that I ended up switching to using a hotspot so I could check my mail. Finally, as we settled down to sleep, my partner captured a bedbug moving across the bedding. The bedbug was passed to the front desk in the morning however, it was unclear if they understood the implications of a live bedbug being found in one of their rooms.I will not stay at this location again. Keep driving. There is surely a better place to stay down the road in either direction!Noteworthy details: Found Bedbugs!!!!

The room was clean, beds was comfortable, and there was someone at the front desk when we needed extra towels and an extra pillow. The location was just outside of Grand Rivers but the road in front of it leads straight into town. The is a gas station next door for your late night snacks and also a walking trail right at the end of the property, for those who like walking trails. They didn't complain about the size of our beloved cane corso. It was quite and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay !!!!!!

Second time staying here in the last two years. On this recent experience, the room was overall clean, front counter woman was nice, and for the price, it can't be beat for what you're getting. My only complaint on this recent experience was that the shower had some chest hairs in the tub and on the wall. The towels we received also appeared to have had a few small stains that could've been dried blood bleached over. Other than that, the stay was fine and if they can fix these things, I'd stay here again and again.

Sad that a person has to say this, but here goes! Set Your Expectations for a $60. Room. This is not a room with butlers and warm towels at your call! It's a clean room to lay your weary head and get some sleep. The water was hot the TV turned on long enough to go to sleep. They were very helpful with directions and a place to eat. Thank you. If you made it this far sorry for the sarcasm!Rooms: Room was clean and bed comfortable. Water was hot.Safety: No loud noises and the car was unmolested.

Directly right off the highway and staff/owners are pleasant to work with. Very clean rooms. Handicap room has raised toilets, grab bars in shower but no roll in shower here. Spacious for wheelchair to maneuver and has good sized closet and hang bar is reachable to guest in wheelchairs. Overall rating is 5/5 .Noteworthy details: There are no options for food here. The gas station is changing hands so no pizza or deli food like before. No premade sandwiches or fruit. Basically chips and cookies and drinks. Hotel does not have food or vending machine and closest grocery store is 10 min away, next exit in next city. So be aware of that. Walmart is 20 minutes away from this location. There is an excellent restaurant here named Patti's 1880s settlement , the food is excellent but its a little pricey but worth it and this restaurant has a hotel on opposite side of highway and they have a B&B. Very nice hotel

We stayed for two nights, and had a great experience. The room was clean and looked good ( no paint chipping, or cracked sheet rock). I have stayed here before, and the service has always been great, and the rooms in top shape. Will probably be back again this summer.We went back in December of 2023, still a great place to stay.

Nice place for the value. Large updated clean rooms, great check in service. For dogo owners there is a trail right next to the motel. WiFi is good enough for streaming.

It all started from the entrance and after that it just got better and better my room was not far away, so I could park my car right in front of my room.The beds were nice and clean. I needed ice so a went to the ice machine which was also very close. It was the best sleep of my night and when it was time from checkout I tried there coffee which was good. I really recommend this place for one or the whole family.

The staff was excellent, the room was fine. The only 2 problems were that the water could have been warmer. I let it run for a few minutes but it never got very hot. Secondly the entrance door to the bldg I stayed in had a card reader but the door was always unlocked , this should be fixed for enhanced security. But overall I really liked this motel and would stay there again. I do recommend this motel!! Nitisha was very nice and helpful!!

Hotel is very old the rooms have been remodeled and are descent, not as clean as they need to be. Good location close to everything. They do not keep extra pillows which is really strange !!Rooms: Not the cleanest but remodeled and descent for a quick stay.

Stayed for eight days. Excellent value for two queen beds. Room was clean, comfy mattress with good pillows. Also found the water pressure and temperature in the shower perfect. Fridge and microwave are located in the room, and you can check at the front desk for anything else you may need. My friend and I had our two small pups with us for a yearly event. We found the owners and staff very friendly. Motel Six will now be our lodging of choice while in Grand Rivers.Nearby activities: Patti’s Settlement is just down the street with lots to do.

Talk about a not-cheap, “cheap” motel! The only good thing was the room seemed clean. Same price as others in the area but only has “coffee” up at the front desk. Room had a tiny fridge and microwave but no coffee maker. Tiny bars of soap but no hair or skin products. Towels are cheap, rough towels. Access was difficult to find. The pool is now a rock pad with weeds. Not recommended to swim in! lol
