If I could give 0 I would. The manager ran all the good employees except 1 and she works her to death. Everytime I step in the store its in chaos. To many roll containers out, empty and full boxes, step ladders, and so much that is below DG standards. Very sad to see how poorly this store has become after the previous manager had worked so hard to fix this problem.

Very clean and orderly. And the help is wonderful. All but one man that works there and I never ever say anything about anyone. If this where my place of business I would hate to but this gentleman would be looking for another job. He is so rude and hateful to customers epically if you go in 30 min before closing. I am putting this out there because I have heard several people that where regulars say because of his rudeness and hateful self they would be going to the Family Dollar from now on if he was working. SO not only myself but others say he is running their evening business off. I hate to talk this of anyone but just being honest for several of us. Other than that we love our Dollar Store .

Not actually a "Dollar" store. Unlike others like the Dollar Store, here most things are in fact NOT a dollar, but rather a few bucks. Stuff is still pretty cheap and sometimes you find useful items that do turn out to be slightly better quality than their counterparts in "real" dollar stores. Don't get your hopes too high if you're looking for durable and high quality stuff, but the more basic an item, the more likely it is that what you find here will get the job done just as well as any other one from a different store and be cheaper!

I was told that I could not bring my 2 lb. Yorkie inside because she was not a "rescue" dog. I have been in multiple times with her with no issue and also other locations as well. This man allowed me to come inside put her in a cart and go back outside and shop outside and then when I came back inside with my cart 1\2 full he asked me if I "rescued" her and I replied no and then he said then she is not allowed inside. I left my cart and I did not purchase anything. It's not that he had a problem with my dog being inside it was that I did not resqcue her. I have multiple "rescues" @ home & if they had of been with me they would have been allowed. (Which by the way, they would have been alot more than 2 lbs.!) But not a 2 lb Yorkie.... I WILL NOT BE BACK.

We are so grateful to have this Dollar General store in Lake City, Kentucky. We use this store up to 5x a day lol. The employees there is our family community. It was such a joy to see 1 of the ladies with all her kids at Lyon County Xmas Program. The staff have their hands full taking care of the massive amounts of customers that hit this store rain, snow or shine!

It usually not real busy so getting in and out is almost always a snap. Very friendly employees and very helpful. Its location is awesome! Brand names at a great price!! So if you are headed to LBL, it should be your last stop

They have great value and friendly, helpfulf staff. The store is clean and well stocked. The only down fall is sometimes the check out is a little long due to not enough registers open.

The manager doesn't do her job like train new employees so they are just standing around looking lost,everytime i pull up she is standing outside smoking.the other employees are really nice but have no leadership.the store is always a mess.

Somewhat cluttered, and disorganized, too much merchandise to squeeze around. Water fountain was wrapped up with trash bag, assuming it didn't work. Unisex Restroom needed attention, no tissue and no soap. Overall, it is a VERY GREAT location, and reasonable price place to pick up necessity items. Nearest Wal-Mart is 20 miles away.

The staff is incredibly rude. The blonde headed manager has harassed me and my family. When u ask where something is and say u can't find it, she says well I guess we don't carry it then huh. Instead of helping me find it.

Rarely, is there a Dollar General which is successfully sanitized and stocked continuously. I worked at Kroger, terrible if it's store #404, Though most of the workers are lazy, it was still in better conditions than most Dollar General's, especially one's in Paducah.

The need More workers to unload pallets and get the products on the shelf so we can get down the isles and clean the store up its filthy what happened to having a decent manger and employees that care about thier job duties in yalls stores this all goes for every dollar store I have been in in 4 different states Illinois Missouri Kentucky st louis only 1 decent lady there the rest act like we are a bother theres a young boy that Never offers a bag no matter how much ya have and acts like he dont know what hes supposed to be doing all these ppl giving this store 5 stars lmao have to be friends and family of the employees only reason I use the store when I do because walmart is 20 miles away and All the dollar stores in Marshall an Livingston county are dirty isles full of stock and rude employees traveling Mangers do ya dang job get rid of these ppl and get some decent works and clean up these stores

This use to be my favorite store now nothing is ever priced right and management looks at u as if u put the sale tags out also the clearance aisle isnt really any clearance prices.. Think im gonna start going to the family dollar instead they have wonderful employees and great sales

Shelves are bare!Stock piled up in the isles while the staff stands outside smoking!If there was a fire it could be bad the way isles are blocked!Save your time they won’t have what you need or you won’t be able to find it!

I really like this Dollar Store. They always have clearance sales, which I love since I am a true bargain shopper. This store is nice and the staff is nice and helpful

Dollar General has really grown, more things you can use rather than just stuff they sell! People are real friendly, that's probably more to do with being in the country

The new one on pld Mayfield rd is great!! I will not go to the 1 in lone oak anymore. Its trashy as hell and they don't care!!
