I don't mean to sound like a commercial but this is the best little pizza and sandwich shop anywhere. Their wood-fired oven pizzas are excellent and the sandwiches are very good. They also offer a range of really tasty baked goods and desserts that varies from day to day. Cold beer is available in addition to the usual soft drink beverages. The "general store" moniker mostly harkens back to the building's century-old history, but they do sell an assortment of local and other Kentucky-made products, including food, wine, sauces, jams, and some craft/decor items. If you are out for a ride in the countryside, this would be a great place to stop for a bite and maybe shop a little bit.

This place is what Kentuckians and small town southern hospitality is all about. The food, service, ambiance is always wonderful and 5 stars. Sure things in there can be a bit pricey outside of what you are eating, but this tends to normally be because these types of stores are representing so many other small, local businesses around the state and their prices will always be higher. If you want some of the other stuff they offer, great get it, but its not necessary to have a great experience in this Kentucky gem. You can rarely go wrong with the many different varieties of pizza and you can never go wrong with the chicken salad! Keep up the excellent work Kelly and Ray!

An amazing hidden gem we happened upon while traveling. Had the fried chicken sandwich and buffalo pizza both were amazing. Best place I've eaten in awhile. Their wood fired pizza really is to die for. Loved that they had lots of handmade goods made locally for sale

You have to stop here on whenever you're in the area! Matter of fact, I think it's worth coming from out of the area. The pizza is easily one of the best I've ever had. Homemade crust and wood fired. Highly recommend.

I have lived near this place for years and seen it evolve over time. This is the best iteration that I have seen it. Its so welcoming but modern at the same time. It has an excellent mix of home feel while still being very professional. The owners should be very proud of what they have done here in the middle of nowhere. I had the bacon ranch pizza for supper on Sunday and immediately wanted to go back for lunch on Monday but they are closed so Tuesday can't come fast enough. The prices are reasonable and the food is amazing. The service is top notch as well. This will become a staple in my weekly meal plan. If you're ever around Glencoe, or feel like taking a drive, this is definitely a stop you should make.

Very cute store but the prices are way too high. I bought some small business items to support them but I don't think I'll be coming back sadly. It's just too expensive for what's there. I am a small business owner myself so I do understand our prices may be higher than most big box places and I'm okay with spending more on small business but the prices here were way too high for me. If the prices change I will be happy to come back!

Very good food generally and excellent pizza specifically. Friendly service, if a little slow.The wood-fired pizza, however, comes out faster than you might think, and has that delicious little bit of char at the very edge of the crust. The atmosphere is very comfortable, too.

This place is absolutely amazing. They have some of the best scratchmade I've had in year's. I had the Bacon Double 🥓 deluxe burger 🍔 and their seasoned fries 🍟 are out of this world.The staff is absolutely amazing 💯 %. Macie Gullion, Campbell Gullion, and Lucas Bishop, along with the others, just made me smile. I sat and just had general conversations with people who are awesome down-home country folks. They make their own buns for burgers, and the pizza's are amazing and so very much more. You'll definitely want to keep returning to this awesome place.Tonight, me and my best friend and we had the Large Bacon Ranch Pizza, and the mozzarella Sticks it was one of the best pizzas we have ever had.They are second to none on all of the food they serve it with love, and that makes all the difference in the world.

My wife and I stopped in on our way to Frankfort.The staff was very friendly and welcoming.We ordered one of their world famous wood fired pizza's (If not world famous, it should be!). It was GREAT!!It had the freshest tasting, homemade sauce combined with the perfectly crisped crust. We loved it.It was a great choice for lunch.Keep up the good work!!

You will not find better chicken salad anywhere! This is homemade. Reminds me of my mothers. It's not good, IT IS GREAT! I buy it by the pound to take home. And I live over an hour away

This small gem in a rural town does not disappoint. It's small business' such as this one that has always been the back bone of America. A hidden gem it is. Food was great, atmosphere was wonderful, and the owner has the right mindset.

We had the best experience from service to food. I just wish we didn't live so far away. The staff there both times we went in were more than helpful and just down right felt like family. Food was delicious we got the wood fire Greek pizz dill pickle pizza a burger and even ice cream for dessert. Definitely go!!!

The staff was great 👍 I decided to give the artesian pizza a try and went against my usual cheese only choice when trying a pizza for the first time and tried the meat lovers, it was really good! Everybody knows the rules one bite challenge its a solid 8.6! The crust was perfect with a nice little char, sauce nice and light great flavor and the cheese and toppings not to heavy perfect balance! I'll definitely be back to try a plain cheese (which will I'm sure raise my rating on the one bite challenge) and try some of the other great looking lunch options!

What an adorable old time store! Artisans from around KY. Jams, jellies, deli meats and cheeses. Awesome double cheeseburger that was much more than expected. Real milkshakes. Customer service was great. A must stop if nearby. The Longest Yard Sale 127 stop.

Great stop if you live in the area or just passing through. More than just a general store they serve food as well with daily specials. This is a great place to stop on the bike for a while when running the great KY backroads! Love the food and staff is very friendly. Must stop if you’re In the area.

Because it just wasn't mealtime for me I had passed this place numerous times over the years but yesterday it came into view just as I was getting hungry. Perfect timing to enjoy a perfect burger served by friendly staff. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was downtown high end restaurant quality with a delicious backyard grill smokey taste. The bun was steamed and grilled just as I like it and the cheese was gently oozing over the edges . I only wish I'd ordered another for the road. The fries were cooked just right too. I'll be back!

It is the nicest building in the area. The pizzas were decent size but the dough wasn't cooked through and meat toppings were sparse. Nice people and a nice remodeled use of an old building. Craft items for sale were ridiculously priced.
