I would like to give a shout out to Miss Mashanna who was extra helpful and decreased my time waiting for someone to help me in the tools department. I think she had noticed that I might have been waiting for someone to help me for a while and despite that she doesn’t work in that dept was able to help me and get me checked out. She was very very nice and unlike most staff act like you’re bothering them when needing help and seemed eager to help. So kudos to her and when it’s time for a raise I hope she get one.

So I go to Lowe’s this morning. I’m looking for 2 things. A cordless electric screw driver maybe $100 bucks. One nice lady was able to unlock one of the cages but it was not what I was looking for. Do I kept looking. Found one I wanted, nobody around to unlock cages again. Gave up.So then I found the $399 yard edger I wanted and was going to purchase. Start taking it down off rack, and it has a secured locking cable on it and nobody to be found to unlock. I gave up. Found both items on Amazon and will be delivered to my house tomorrow. Brick and mortar businesses had better wake up. They always think their too big to fail.

Pretty dumpy store. Too much junk littering the aisles. It's hard to get around because it's too full of stuff. Two people can't pass each mother without getting in each other's way, especially with carts.One employee acknowledged me, yet didn't ask if I needed help. About a dozen others passed me by with no contact whatsoever. When I did need help getting a piece of lumber cut, I had to seek.someone out and was told (by a guy who I presumed was a manager) the cutting machine has been down for a week and they're trying to get it fixed. So I asked for a handsaw and the guy said he didn't think that was possible. Terrible.The cashier was ok.Poorly managed store. Avoid if you can. Home Depot needs to open in Georgetown to give these guys some incentive to improve.

Went there to get window stripping and couldn't find it anywhere, I finally found an employee, and she told me exactly what isle and where it was. She saved me a lot of time because I would have never found it. I give Lowes a 3 because it did take me a long time to find an employee. Checkouts are a big no for me, I do not like going into a store and doing my own checkout. It's not my job, I'd rather have someone do it and tell me to have a good day and be done. My opinion. It's nice to have human interaction SOMETIMES.

This place is awful - stopped by to pick up a piece of linoleum, walked back to the flooring department found the one I wanted and go to the desk in that department and the lady asked me if I needed help and I told her I just needed someone to cut a piece of linoleum- she then told me she didn’t have anyone and she was was waiting on a customer- so I go to the service desk and ask to speak to the manager because I see several people who were just standing around that could help, but I was told well the manager is working in the flooring department- so this is the manager of the store which can’t or doesn’t know how to delegate nor knows how to take care of customers! No way would should she be managing a store if she can’t delegate someone to cut a 300 dollar rug and get a customer on their way. 3 of the workers when I went towards them would not make eye contact and walk away because they knew I was going to ask for help. I did finally find a guy that said he could help.It took me less than 5 minutes to find what I needed and took 1 hour to find help, get one product and get to the checkout line! 😕I’m done with Lowe’s and will be giving me business to Home Depot - because they will help you, and prices are lowerLowe’s is only interested in making a profit and if they lose customers doing it they don’t care - Customers you have the choice to like these establishments take advantage of you or go somewhere else- Me I’m going to places that wants me to be happy with the service they are selling.

Great selection of just about all you need, like most lowes. At times they really could use a few more cashiers. They do give 10% off with military id which I think is great.... In May the garden / flower / fruit tree / plant selection is absolutely top notch, by far the best I've seen at a home depot or Lowe's... Strongly suggest hitting those Lowes up spring time.. HUGE SELECTION!!!Had to lower from 5 stars to 4... Their roofing section did it, step it up!!! Horrible selection and poor quality products, plus overpriced

Lowe's is great when you use their app to find the aisle and bay where a product is located. Easy in and out.Lowe's is not as good when you need help finding something. It's difficult to find an employee and many times they do not know where the product is located.

If it could be negative we would.Do not order from this store. Do not do a pay ahead.They have wasted so much of our time by pulling the wrong amounts out of the account, then not having the items, then saying their computer won't let us pick it up, to lying and saying a card was declined.Now we have to file a report for stolen funds that they refuse to admit was taken out of the account and wasted a day trying to get what we needed that they did not have in the first place.We should have learned the first time they royally messed up an order.Go to Home Depot, this store is not worth the headaches they cause.Update: Had to file a charge back with the bank after canceled order still posted for items we never recieved.Also got the same items at home depot for over 100 dollars less

This store used to be one of the better Lowe's store around. Now, they have done away with cashier's. Self checkout is the main way to pay here. If a barcode doesn't scan, or if your military discount function doesn't work, the screen will say "help on the way". Good luck with that!You would think a business in retail would make it super easy to take the customers money. Not Lowe's. Self checkout can be backed up, some customers are just slower than others or they are having an issue and standing there waiting for someone to help them.I'm willing to bet that if a Home Depot came to Georgetown and had cashier's, Lowe's business would drop.

Today I had the best experience with customer service at a hardware or home improvement store since long before the Pandemic. I am camping with my husband in a town we have never been to before and needed a few things for our camper. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of customer service that I received throughout my shopping experience, which included items from several parts of the store. I missed the name of the first employee to help us, unfortunately. I mentioned to my husband that the item I was looking for was not in the area that he suggested, and the staff person overheard me and directed me to the correct isle with a smile. While shopping on that isle, my husband approached another staff named Kim regarding a different item & she wound not rest until we had found exactly what we needed, looking up items for us and visiting two different areas of the store with us to ensure that we were helped. Sandy helped us at check out. We were in the self check lane and she took the time to scan all of our items & make sure that my husband got his veterans discount. All three of these exemplary employees were infallibly professional, positive and helpful. What a relief after so many years of deplorable service at other establishments since the pandemic started. I can not rate them highly enough!

Lowes used to be fair priced but lately their prices are consistently above stores that are smaller and have less buying power.Updated 11-24-2023Prices still higher than others and now only one register with a human at the main registers. I will now only go here if I have to. Quite aggravating ringing your self up, while seven employees are standing around watching you.

I bought a washer and dryer from this Lowe's in July 2023. I opened up a Lowe's credit card so that I could get a percentage off. But I had the money so I paid for everything that same day at the checkout. I bought a wrong part for the washer and dryer and I returned it a few days later and paid it off. So my balance for my Lowe's card should've be zero.Well later on much to my surprise, I receive a letter in mail from Lowe's saying that I owe $6.42.Why would I pay up front over $1,000 on a washer and dryer and leave a balance of only $6 on my card???Today I went to pay it and they said I owed $14 I guess because a late fee or something.So basically I got screwed over here.Terrible!

I just left lowes Georgetown ky lawn and garden , and the cashier a man, 60+ age exemplified dismissive and stoic language for my customer service needs. Today 2:30pm at store 1736, terminal 19, sales#: s1736mp2 78807 trans#: 48363788 . To paint the picture, in check out i was a middle aged woman with a white 20 year old daughter and with us was her black husband. It seemed he was super emotionally closed up, walled up, stern from the start. Was my bi racial son in law and white daughter a factor in his treatment of me and my price concerns? I was told I could not have a pre print out of the transaction before it was finalized for sale. I wanted to look at it so I can see what the pricing was for. There was no patience, nor understanding that I wanted to review what it was that brought it up to the 38. Dollars, it came too. It felt more lik it would be 26 dollars. But , I was meant with , frustrated service and rushed service, no smiles, no tone or concern for my happiness as a customer.

If you are looking for bolts, nuts, washers, or similar hardware this is not the place to go. Their bolt trays, if they are not empty are mislabeled, or the products are scattered and mixed into the wrong bins/trays. It is virtually impossible to find the pieces you are looking for at this location. I have never seen a Lowe's location in which their hardware is in such disarray. I can't imagine they can take proper inventory with such mismanaged stocking practices. That is what most likely leads to empty bins. If you don't know what you do or don't have you can't make a proper order to the supplier. This is so inconvenient since they are practically the only hardware store in Georgetown. I will add pictures the next time I come in. I have stopped in several times over the last 3 months and the situation has only gotten worse, so I'm betting it won't be better the next time I stop in. I will most likely just have to start going to a competitor stor the next town over. Traveling to the next town is inconvenient, but it's better than a wasted trip to Lowe's, and then having to go to the next town anyway, because you can't find a basic standard bolt you are looking for.

The quality of wood they sell is a joke. A 2x4 with a 2" knot in it is not acceptable. If you need good wood for any visible project you are going to have to pick through the entire pile. Typically only the lumber section has a manned checkout. The other checkouts are closed and you have to use the self check outs. They force people to do the work of an employee but for free...then they wonder why customer satisfaction declines. Plenty of employees standing around talking to each other which apparently keeps them too busy to help customers or operate a checkout.

Excellent customer service. I had a whirlpool top load washing machine, with an agitator delivered, and I have no complaints. Everything was taken care of to the fullest extent! Will do business again. That's for sure!

We worked with Haley in cabinets when our dishwasher broke last winter and flooded our house. She was great to work with! However, our countertop was delivered and installed with a huge scratch. They came and made a repair but you could still see the spot. I asked for a discount and was directed to a 3rd party installation company. I have been trying since January to get this resolved and they still have not helped me and I have asked Haley and the installation manager, Becky for their help and they say there is nothing they can do. This is over 7 months that I have been trying to get this resolved and they say there is nothing they can do. It is the 3rd party company that THEY use, so how can you not help me get this resolved!! Very Frustrated!!!

Spent over $57,000.00 for appliances to go into 16 new apartment units and while the price was good, their delivery was missed multiple times, and though all items are paid for when placing the order, missed dates of delivery happens OVER AND OVER though told all were on hand. Many damaged items.

Went to purchase a scratch and dent dishwasher today. Item was half off and had no remarks other than it was returned. Item looked somewhat used but in good condition, spoke with a gentlemen if the item had a warranty and if it could be returned he stated it could. Went to the register and three associates were unable to ring the item up as there was an issue with the item number they put on the reduced label. Had to go up to customer service where they were finally able to complete the transaction, was told the dishwasher would be brought up so we could load it. Waited by the customer service area for a good twenty minutes till one of the managers came up and wanted to know more, when we informed him of the dishwasher he stated oh the broken one! To which we asked broken? It doesn’t state broken and the item was $350 dollars. We then had to go back to customer service where we were condescendingly informed by the cashier three times that anything reduced in the back is likely broken and if we have questions we need to flag someone down and ask them. Cashier was unable to refund the money to my card and rudely asked if I needed to take the reduced price tag with me when I left. So all in all if you want something scratch and dent from this location expect to pay a high price on a broken item and get attitude too.
