The people are very friendly but I recommend you save your money and not get the bath and de-shedding. Dogs ears were dirty, hair matted under ears and took me almost and hour with a shed blade and furminator. To get a pile of hair larger than my dog off of him. Total waste of my time taking him there and still had to end up doing it myself. However, can not comment on them as boarding only on grooming.

I am so grateful to have found Happy Spot Pet Resort. I often work long hours and each week they check in with me to see what days a home-visit is needed. About halfway through my work day they come to my house and visit my 90 pound lab for thirty minutes. Sometimes they spend the time playing in the back yard, sometimes they play and then go on a walk. Before they leave each time they always make sure his water bowl is filled up and he's comfortable. I have a Ring camera on my front door, so I can see they always stay at least for the designated time and often a few minutes extra. My pup loves their visits and it provides me with so much comfort to know he's well taken care of while I'm at work. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they are all so patient and kind with my boy. Thank you so much to Julie and her incredible staff!

I wasn't in a hurry to get home after a fun camping trip to TN plus I had been wanting to visit the Ark Encounter in Kentucky with my kiddos... but I also had my fur babies and not able to take them to the Ark attraction. I researched the area and was surprised that there's multiple pet boarding places. I won't drop off my Kimber and Bella just anywhere- I found Happy Spot Pet Resort in my quest for dog care and with their excellent reviews, great services like a bath, nail trim and dog care photos at affordable prices I chose this place; no regrets. I would bring my fur babies here again.

Luca has been taking weekends and 2 week vacations with HAPPY SPOT since he was 9 weeks old. All I have to say is Happy Spot and he knows where he is going and gets extremely excited. I have complete confidence and trust in everyone at Happy Spot for their commitment in loving, caring and professionalism with him. I would only recommend Happy Spot.

Best kennel in Scott county without question. We have sent our two dogs there multiple times and they get excited when we say it’s time to see miss Julie. These people are truly dog people and you can feel confident leaving your pets with happy spot!

My boyfriend and I went out of town for the night and we took our 6 month old German shepherd puppy here! The staff was so nice and just loved him! Very reasonably priced. We also added a bath and nail trim. They did great! :)

While vacationing, it was easy to set up doggie daycare lodging while we visited The Ark Encounter. The ladies were friendly and the check in/out process was easy. Their split business hours made it convenient for drop off and pickup and their price is affordable.

The only boarding facility my dog LOVES! Sure, there are newer, fancier places nearby but I can tell by my dog’s reaction where she gets treated like a queen. She even runs back in before leaving to say goodbye!

This was the perfect place for our dogs while we visited the Ark and Creation Museum. They took great care of our dogs and even bathed them before we pick them up. Highly recommend if you need good quality boarding in the area.

Excellent customer service. Patient and honest people. They know what you need. They are able to accommodate most of us, boarding your pet, even on short notice.My only issue...unfortunately, my doggie, I've had him for 4.5 years, picked up mange, and he never had mange before his visit. He's stayed at at least three different boarding facilities his entire life, but never got mange.Happy Spot's sign says 'your dog will get fleas and ticks', alerting you to ensure that you give them treatment. If you don't have treatment you can purchase from them, which I did. This was very convenient. They can also bathe your pet before pick up for a fee as well.I wanted to post a five star rating because Happy Spot was very accommodating, super helpful, and welcoming, but since my dog ended up with mange, which costed me additional money for his diagnosis and treatment, I had to hit the four star.I'm very thankful they kept him and I was able to pick him up alive and in one piece, but very disappointed that he picked up a skin disease.

My family has taken our pets to Happy Spot for years and now I do too! After trying other closer kennels closer to my home, this one is well worth the extra 40 min drive. My dog is not great with strangers or other dogs but Happy Spot treats her just as well as any others, and she always seems happy and not anxious to go! They are the only kennel I trust with my pup, and I’d recommend them to anyone!

We left our lab puppy here while we went on a week-long trip. The employees were friendly and kind. I like that the facility is out in the country too, so there's not a high-traffic area nearby. Our pup had zero complaints.😉 We will board here in the future!

Julie had our two girls (lab & Plott) for the day while we visited the Ark and Creation Museum. Dropped them there at 8:30 when she opened and picked them up about 6pm. All good. The kennels are large, clean and all is well maintained. Julie was great with the girls. We opted not to do baths as an add on and gave them baths ourselves back at the campsite to wash off the kennel scent they pick up at pretty much any kennel. All in all a great experience for us and, as far as we can tell, our pups as well.

I've been to Happy Spot pet resort on several occasions. Julie treats all her guests like they were her own pets and there are large runs for outside exercise! She takes every precaution to make sure all the pets stay safe while there. Some times they don't even want to go home!

My lab BB is always a good boarder, and it's nice to finally have an owner / staff that notices that too!! Great experience from start to finish and personal reports on her activity and eating habits. BB told me she definitely wants to stay there again! ;)

Our almost 12 year old Husky mix recently spent a weekend here and is fixing to go back again! They were so good to our boy and he loves Penny so much! They bathed him while he was there and was treated like a baby! We have already recommended Happy Spot to a lot of people and will continue to do so. Here's to hoping our Bodie has another great experience this coming weekend. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our frisky, playful boy! AKA-the escape artist....lol

I stopped by the other day to check out the facilities before leaving our boy for a long period of time. 2 things stood out to me during my visit. 1st, the owner Julie truly has passion for dogs, cats and her business. She takes a lot of pride in providing a comfortable setting for the residents and a peace of mind for pet owners. 2nd, is the time and energy involved in keeping the facility clean and well maintained, this is a top priority for her. Pricing is cheaper than I was anticipating as well. I would have to think that this is the best option Georgetown for boarding your pets.

Milo is a skittish dog and doesn't do well with strangers most of the time, but I always pick up a happy dog! He's also mixed with Sharpei and his fur is very itchy, but they bathe him when I pick him up and he's so soft! Also, the prices are very reasonable! We love the Happy Spot! I always suggest it to friends!

I hate to even write a bad review after having such a good experience the first time (and only other time) we took our dog here, but this last experience was very different and will be the last.We had our pup here for 6 days on both occasions. I just picked him up after his second stay here and he was filthy. According to their site and based on our first stay here, he is supposed to get a bath after staying 5 days...they failed to do this this time and said that I had to request it. If it is necessary to request it, how did it happen the first time and why does your site say it is included? He was so dirty that the blanket I brought from Home for him to have in his luxury suite had to be trashed. Mud was caked in it everywhere. Not to mention how the blanket (and my dog) smells.But this isn’t all. When I picked him up tonight, I was told he has been fed for today. When I got home, however, he had an extra days worth of food in his bag; I had pre-portioned his food servings for the exact amount he would need for the 6 days and one bag was still in there. So he may have been fed today like I was told, but this means that 1 of the 6 days he was there he did not get his food.I am very disappointed in the service this last time and will not be returning in the future.

Where do I even begin? Julie and Jennifer with Happy Spot are such a blessing! We’ve recently added two puppies to make our household complete but both my husband and I work full time. Being responsible pet owners we had to do something that allows us and our babies to be happy through the work week. We have used doggie daycare at another facility but really wanted to keep our pups in their environment. *Insert the superwomen!* Monday - Friday, Ms Julie or Ms Jennifer swing by our place and spoil our two precious pooches rotten! They let them outside, play play play, and cover them (or vice versa ) in kisses! Our girls love them! Have I mentioned my girls are both potty trained (even a yorkie!) thanks to their help! If you’re anything like us, our dogs are our world. I wouldn’t trust them with just anyone. From the moment I met Julie, I knew my Reese Cup and Pixie Stix would be In great hands. They are extremely dependable, trustworthy and just overall extremely awesome! I don’t know how we could do it without them! (& I hope we never do) Thanks Happy Spot! You’re a lifesaver!
