Too high priced especially for a small town. They have some deals that are nice but doesn't make up for high prices and high gas prices too. Usually the highest in town.

Most things are too expensive. But, they do have decent sales occasionally. The meat has a tendency to go bad before the date on the package, so you have to use immediately. But it is the only grocery store in our county. So mainly go there if I absolutely have to have something. Otherwise travel out of town.

Frenchburg doesn't offer much in terms of grocery shopping, so without driving out of town, you'll most likely find yourself at this IGA. It has some pretty friendly staff, most of which seem to be fresh graduates, if not still attending school which isn't uncommon for a place like this. They have a fairly decent selection of grocery items to choose from, along with a deli and meat department for your different cuts of meat. My only real gripe with this place is the price, seeing as it's the only real grocery location in town, they can get away with charging a handsome price for goods that would otherwise be cheaper at competitor locations. So overall, it's a fairly nice store with pretty good service and nice staff, but the prices are definitely on the high end.

A Nice, Neat & Really Clean Place. Waaay Nicer Than Any Save-A-Lot or Kroger, I've Ever Shopped In. The Cashiers Are Polite & Just An, All Around, Welcoming & and Friendly Bunch. I Live In Owingsville With A Save-A-Lot Just 6 Miles Away, Vs This Place Being About 20 Miles Away But, I Believe I'll Start Driving The Xtra Miles Just For The WAY Better Selection, With A WAAAAAY Better Quality & Such Great Atmosphere!

Staff are friendly and nice. However the owner knows there is no other grocery store in town and the prices for everything are sky high. This was before Bidens inflation hike as well. That can't be the blame.

Its alright if you look for specific times, but majority of it is overpriced. I'm not even kidding. You'll find items from family dollar or DG (not even a mile away from this iga) a lot more cheap. Same brand, same everything. If you look for some items, you'll find them CLOSE to the same value. The reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because they sell fresh meat. If you want the normal stuff, go elsewhere. Unless you like wasting money.. The choice is yours.

Had everything we needed. The meats and vegetables were good and fair priced. FYI; Frenchburg is a DRY County! So I got a 6pack of ALE81 orange cream soda. It was great with vanilla ice cream 👍

The store is set up nicely. All produce and meats that I have gotten were always fresh. The deli has really good foods. They have a great selection of glutten free items for those who have wheat allergy. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that prices in certain things can be a little higher but they do have good digital coupons that balance some things out.

People are friendly most of the time and they have a pretty good selection of groceries...however they are some what pricey compared to other stores in the area on some things...i like the gas card rewards though! Spend $50 and get 5 cents off a gallon...you can also build on the rewards for more cents off per gallon but the rewards do expire.

It's the only grocery store within 30 minutes. Nice clean store and friendly personnel! We support local businesses so we gladly pay the little extra. They're fried chicken is fabulous!

Frenchburg is a small town. This is the only grocery store, but for a small town it does have plenty, including fresher vegetables and fruits.

Prices have went up on everything. Was the best place to buy meat. They need to read these reviews and make some changes. Not that far to drive to the next town over or go to one of the 4 dollar store in the county.

It's a lot more expensive that it needs to be, and I feel like the prices are hiked because they know they can do it, and people will pay anyway because there aren't any other choices close by. I only go in here if I have to, otherwise, it's cheaper to buy a majority of food items from Dollar General.

Prices are high due to it being the only grocery store in the area and guess that's why customer service there is also a joke. Also they need to train the people working at the gas pumps. Been there twice and both times it was screwed up guess saying " Pump 4 " wasnt enough info for the employee.

The store is always clean and I love the cashiers, but since the new owner has taken over, they have done away with stuff and prices have went way up and shelves are empty alot.
