We had breakfast here on our trip down to view the 2017 solar eclipse. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. They were very busy this morning due to all the out of town people passing through. Despite the hectic pace, the service was top notch.

My husband and I both ordered the loaded biscuit and gravy before leaving Fredonia. The bowl had biscuits, chopped ham, bacon, sausage, gravy, and two eggs on top. We finished it barely, and we didn’t have to stop for lunch! We will be back.

As always our experience was great! Our food was fresh, hot and tasted awesome. The restaurant was clean. Waitress was kind, courteous, friendly, and easy to understand...The prices are suitable for the great food and service that you get. When we are going to eat fish away from home we always goes to the coin dog inn because it is the best place to get fish around here...........

We always get great friendly service and fresh, homemade food. But the desserts are fantastic. The handmade pies are just like the ones grandma made. The raisin pie was one of the best pies I've ever had. The cakes have creative flavors and are moist and delicious.

love the feel of this place. old country and farm style decor and a warm welcoming staff. Southern country cooking better than cracker barrel. I have not had anything I didn't like off the breakfast menu.

Took my father to eat catfish. The variety of side dishes was excellent. The food was okay, at best. Hush puppies had been microwaved a dozen times too many (or so it seemed). I wouldn't come here on my own, but if my parents want to return, I'll be back.

We love going there to eat breakfast before going shed hunting. My son came in from Arkansas , we took him, great omelets, service is great , just a good down home comfortable restaurant. Try they're biscuits and gravy ! Delish !

The atmosphere is just like Mayberry. You feel as if Andy and Barney should walk in any minute. The food is just as good and down home. It is a nice step back into real cooking. I had the special, beef stroganoff which was made from scratch. It was amazing. I recommend this restaurant before any other in the area. Thank you coon dog for your great effort into putting out a home cooked meal.

Breakfast was just ok. Hash browns were cold and hard. Biscuits and gravy were good. The menu seems to be ala Carte. No menu options for a normal breakfast of eggs, meat, hashbrowns, and toast. No plate presentation.
