Check your receipt. On top of sales tax, IGA adds an additional 10% to your final price. They claim it's to pay for stocking the shelves. So if you buy $50 in groceries, they add an additional $5 to the bill and then add sales tax on non-exempt items too. So far, Kroger and The Pig are not pulling this Biden stunt.

I usually like iga but their meat had recently been weighed down with water. As soon as I put it in the pan today i literally had to take it off the burner and drain it. It went from 1.8 pounds to I guess a pound. Iga may not be to blame.

Good price on milk but they could add more open registers and their self check out registers have too many steps are confusing need to be streamlined they are not like Walmart and Kroger and the rest

The main problem I have with this store is the self checkout. I hate having to do their job and be watched like a hawk while ringing up my own purchase. Especially when I don't get a discount or compensated to do so.

Be sure to check the dates on Dairy. They don't rotate their dairy and we have gotten a couple of spoiled dairy items. Same for pecans and walnuts.

I went shopping on Thursday June 15th at this store for the last time. My cashier(Lisa) was rude, and the lady watching people in self check out was standing there calling customers cry babies, because they have to use self check out. I work customer service as well, and that's no way to act.And on top of that you added 10% extra at checkout!No thank you!I will not be back.(For time reference this was at about 8:45pm on 06/15/2023)

Hit or miss on selections but affordable prices. The employees at self checkout sometimes crowd you while you're checking out. Comes off as creepy and excessive. I was checking out recently and turned to face my cart and an employee was standing directly behind me. She wanted to "make sure I didn't need help." I had to tell her she could help herself and I both by not standing directly behind me. The staff at checkout seem like they have too much time on their hands. Don't make eye contact. They will take it as an invitation to come tell you their life story. 🙆‍♀️

I love the store! Fair prices and close by. Staff is always helpful. Would have been 5 stars but the new butcher is putting out meat that is lower quality even though it is labeled the same. I used to buy all of my meat there

The great customer service and very low prices make this our preferred grocery store in our town. Their deli foods are always fresh and ready to go as well. The staff will go above and beyond to be helpful and courteous. I will gladly pay the 10% charge at the checkout.

Good store, great produce and meats. My biggest complaint is their pricing. The price you pay is 10% more than the price that's posted. Their reasoning is that the price posted is their price, and customers pay 10% above the store's cost. Still, kind of confusing.
