I love Pet Wants. We save on vet bills and I believe its the food. I also had a friend convert to pet wants whose cat was on steroids and had severe stomach issues for over a year. After 3 months the kitty is being weined off steroids and bowel issues are 90% resolved

I happened to be in the area and thought I’d check out the store. I had my Chihuahua with me. These folks were so nice! I got some dog food samples and decided to even have my dog bathed and had her nails trimmed. I’m writing this 3 days later, and my dog STILL smells awesome!! Will return!!

This store not only offers healthy food options for my dog who has cancer, I was also treated by Lisa (one of the owners) to her knowledge and kindness. Susan (owner) provided a very positive experience. Zach helped watch my dog while I browsed the store. This place is great! I highly recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic store. The pet wants food is incredible. The delivery service makes my life simple. My dog's quality of life has gone up because of the quality of food that I'm getting. They also have a huge selection of other quality dog products and grooming services. You can even take your dog and bathe them yourself. The staff are friendly and they're more than willing to help and make sure you have the right products for your animals.

Lisa and Susan the owners really know what there doing when it comes to your animals!! There professional and care so much about you and your pet's In a small town way. Very cozy historical building with a lot of love inside for your animals. These woman know how to take care of you and your pet's every time the right way!!! Check them out sometime you won't regret it!! The prices are very reasonable and there's even a place to wash your own dog by yourself!

I used to have my labradoodle groomed elsewhere but everywhere else kept her penned up in a tiny cage until her turn. She has such a great experience at Dirty Hairy's/Pet Wants that we can not walk by without my dog pulling to go in. They have great healthy dog food, treats and the best customer service. The owners are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Such a treasure to be able to walk to in a cute little town.

We have lots of dogs, and one (of our two) 17-year-old pups recently suffered a seizure, so I haven't wanted to leave him alone. During this time, we found out our pup's regular food (Earthborn Holistic Primitive Natural) was involved in a recall, so desperate to find a new, healthy food for them without having to wait much time to get it, I looked up Pet Wants. I had heard great things about them and had been wanting to try them anyway. I was really pleased with the ingredient list of one of their foods, and it was similar(ish) to our last food. I was mistakenly under the impression the food would arrive a day earlier than it was set to, and when I realized my mistake, I was frantic. I called them, and within a couple of hours, they had delivered my food. Our pups all tried it and loved it. We will be sticking to them from here on out.

Products are fine, staff is friendly, but it smells horribly of ammonia/cat urine. When I asked about it, they said their basement flooded, and didn’t seem to concerned for the smell, almost like they couldn’t smell it. Run an air purifier? Light a candle? Please, anything!

We have used the self-serve baths, grooming and the store. The employees are always friendly and helpful! It’s always clean and never smells like ‘wet dog’. I agree with other reviews that they are priced high but nice to support local!

My fur baby Rosco absolutely loves the Lamb and Brown Rice for dogs. Not to forget about the delicious bully sticks too! His obsession with them is too cute. His trigger word for them is "stick?" And he goes bezerk for it! 😁 Thank you PetWants for keeping my Rosco 😊

Pleasant place! I really enjoy stopping by, usually when i am out walking my dog we come in to get a pigs ear. I have washed my dogs at dirty hairs before, it is very nice. I am aware its a seprate buissnes, but it is so cool! Thank you!

This place is absolutely amazing!!!! I will not feed my pups food or treats from anywhere else! They even deliver for free to my apartment complex and keep the community treat jar full!!!!!!! If you have not visited you are missing out! Quite a few people from my apartment complex order from them and they are all as happy with their decision as I am!

I don’t even know where to begin. These ladies are angels. I rescued a little poodle last weekend and no one has claimed him and he is the sweetest! To my horror I woke up this morning and it had gotten out of the house and the Fort Thomas police took it to Pet Wants. I went there and they proceeded to let me know what bad shape this little guy was in. They spent all day working on his mats and I am bringing him back tomorrow. The place is beautiful and ultra clean. I am a small business owner and I appreciate the love and passion they have for what they do. I will forever be grateful to these dog grooming angels and recommend them to everyone with a pet!!!

Retail shop is closed! The young man that said he was the manager was VERY rude. My mother and I went there for cat treats and we didn't know exactly what they were and he told us to look through the window and tell him. No! Unfortunately we will NOT return to this location again!

7 hours to get 2 dogs washed ... came at 1 pm to pick them up when they told me they would be done , they told me 1 more hour so I came back at 3 pm (2 hours later) and they tell me another hour .. so I had to drive over there 4 total times . Awful
