The salespeople are extremely pushy and then rude when they believe they're not going to make a sale. I asked about the price of a puppy and I laughed out loud when they told me. Get one for MUCH less and healthier at an actual reputable breeder. This is extortion and I'm surprised they're still in business. Do not buy from and support this puppy mill!!! I hate to think of what happens to these poor animals if they don't get bought.

Cool place but BEWARE! They will try to pressure you into buying a $3000 dog and then make you feel bad if you say no. We were from out of town and just stopping in to see what they had as we have 2 cats at home. We were looking around when we saw the puppies and just wanted to look at how cute they were. The girl working at the time proceeded to go grab a puppy for us to play with. We told her we aren’t able to have a dog and she said it’s fine you can still play with her. We thought it was just to socialize the puppy however she asked us to “sign in” then proceeded to have us watch 2 videos about how their dogs come from “safe breeders” and that they insure the well being of the puppies and blah blah blah. I made a joke to my husband that this is “probably a $800 dog” so for fun we asked to see who was closest. The girl then proceeded to go and get paper work about the puppy and talking about when you take him home. We let her know from the beginning we weren’t able to have a dog and yet all she cared about was making a sale. Once we told her we had no intentions of adopting a puppy she then told us “he’s been passed up so many times” and “ he seems to love you guys though” we left immediately. I understand their job is to make a sale but I’ll just say they’re doing a great job at running customers off and making them feel uncomfortable. Just say no to playing with th puppies it’s not worth it. Oh also they proceeded to call me from when I “checked in” to see if I had changed my mind about adopting the puppy we just wanted to pet.

I love this place! I got my fur baby Mochi from here. He's a gentle sweet boy. However my only complaint is towards parents. I see kids get vit because parents who don't buy a thing from the store then their kids abuse animals then leave. The store staff trys but parents are rough ppl.Otherwise Mochis is a year old now. He's a good boy. The trick is to get on pet lands ferret list wait and get a call back to pick up you baby ferret. That way you can raise them to be good baby's.

Had a rude experience today with the gentlemen worker. Tried to convince us to buy a 7k mini bull dog which I said absolutely not. After finally saying no for the last time he grabbed the dog out of my little sisters arms and walked away rudely. We have been there several times and he was the first rude worker we have encountered. Will not be back.

I actually wanna see and stuff but the reason I put the one review and all that is because I want to see if you would be willing enough to donate a therapy animal I would like to see if that would be a possible thing and stuff and all that because I cannot afford to pay out $300 because I am on disability I would like to get one of your verbs and stuff and all that but y’all keep telling me it’s like $300 and I can I can apply for credit and stuff and all but I don’t know what your mission statement of what you are actually going to do I would like to see if you would be willing enough to actually donate the bird or therapy for a therapy. Pet is possible I would like to do it and stuff and all that but I just got the funds to actually support your business and stuff and all that I know you run a business and stuff but you’re accredited with a lot of organizations that actually help out with this type of deal and stuff I just lost two of my therapy animals that I got a couple of years ago and stuff and all that and I know it’s past the warranty, date and stuff and all that but I would like to get an upgrade from the birds that I actually got before and all that but if you’re not willing enough to do that, I’m I will try to get the fun someway some some forms but it would be it would be command, and if you actually did that please get back to me at your earliest convenience

My doggie died in November. I've been heart broke ever since. I had tried to get a dog from a breeder, but that fell through. So, I was impatient waiting any longer and decided to go to Petland even though everyone advised me not to. I should have listened. I had looked on their web page and decided between one of two puppies. After looking at the two, I made my decision. I was approved for petland financing for half. And approved for the whole thing through AFF. I was advised by the manager to go with petland financing, and use AFF for the rest. It will be easier he said. Ha what a joke. The approval process had taken forever and we were there for three hours. We had my 3 year old and my 10 month old. They were so over it all. But we brought our new family member home. We decided on a name. And all of us was thrilled. Then, I got the phone call. THEY had screwed up, he admitted that, and not made me fill out a paper and now the financing was canceled. They gave me a phone number that i called. But they are open from 8 to 430 and it was almost 6. So the associate said I had to come back tonight, because the dog is no longer paid for. So I had to take my 3 year old and my puppy back up there. As I mentioned before, the three year old was already over sitting and being away from home. He wanted to be home playing with the new puppy. After going back up and talking to them, they said I would have to reapply again for financing that I was already approved for. I didn't want to put the three year old through that again. And due to family schedule I had no way of leaving him home. I also had other obligations tonight where I didn't have time to stay and reapply anyway. It had been so time consuming the first time. So in the end, I had to leave the puppy there, i had to leave the store with a screaming 3 year old that had fell in love with the puppy, and me in tears as well. It was the perfect puppy. I can't replace the one I lost. But she was the perfect one to get next. Thanks for nothing Pet land. You really are a joke. And you have left a family heart broken all over again.Great Job!

Be careful been in dispute with them and warranty company since May 2023. Their warranty is a joke and only pays up to the amount of the dog and doesn't take care of the dog. The poor dog I have had guardia from this place and has colitis. I would never give this dog back to them knowing how these and other people experiences have been when the vets are full of petland pups with crazy dieases... you all should be ashamed. Since I can not respond to your response. Please note that this did not happen as they said. There were tons of people who would not take responsibility for this problem. Even my vet told me that Petland was a bad company and puppy mill. Adopt and stay clear from this company as they are money hungry and have no care for any form of life! Also, the vet said my pet would of been dead in two days if we would of not taken him from this place!!!

Very unprofessional way of doing stuff we call them about a problem we had and they never even called us back. I don’t know about their other pets but I would definitely stay away from the fish department. The water they put in the bags to transport the fish home is out of a tap. I bought 60 fish there and everyone of them died. I suspect it’s from the low temperature of the tap is what caused the problem.

I believe we were purposefully mislead at this location. We asked the price of a dog and we’re given a sales pitch about how you don’t just get a dog you get a package that could be from $900-$1,200. It was a little more than we wanted to pay but if it was a good fit it would be worth it. We spent time with the dog, fell in love with her. We said we would take her and then we were told she was $5,000.

Fish had ick died 2 days after the return policy that is 7 days. They told me they couldn't do anything for me my tank is blue now because of treatments to save them, lost 100$ of fish only 6 survived out of 16

Such nice people & cute puppies, expensive as hell but very freaking cute, playful, loving puppies! I ended up getting. A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel here. Advise, of your coming to just look and check everything out, don't bring your kids or you will end up adding a member to your family!! We do love our very expensive dog though.... lol

The manager was amazing and so helpful. She told us about a stuffed animal that Petland makes that you can warm up a piece in the middle and it has a little heartbeat which kept my puppy who was separated from his mom too early very comfortable.

I called weeks ago regarding a puppy. The girl informs me the dog is not yet available and will call me when she is. Weeks go by and they call stating another dog is available (not the one I called about) then proceeds to tell me it's $6200 for a mini dachshund!! Prices should be upfront so people who actually on a budget don't waste their time!

Jack was very rude over the phone, I asked him a question he acted like he had no idea what he was talking about. When I asked to speak to someone else he hung up on me. I called back saying it was very rude of him for hanging up on a customer and asked to talk to someone else again, he said “nobody else is here” and then hung up again. I have never had troubles with petland before, but this really upset me.

these puppies are ALWAYS SICK. please do not buy a puppy from this place. they support puppy mill type breeders and when it's all said and done you'll end up with a overpriced sickly dog. don't believe me?? walk by the cages. they don't even try to hide the diarrhea.

Had a great experience here. The dogs are expensive, but you’re also getting a lot of highly sought after purebreds in there for that price. It was more expensive from a typical breeder, but breeders don’t offer financing and you’re not running the risk of going through a puppy mill. My dog was around $600 more than what I was finding from random breeders, but the flip side is I didn’t have to pay it all at once.

We came in today to purchase some dog toys/ bones etc for our new dog. Amber was absolutely amazing!! She was very informative and knowledgeable about the dog breed that we are getting. I appreciate that so much because this is our first dog in 10 years. I hope when I go back in to get more stuff for our boy, that she will be there.

Do not ever buy dogs or anything from this place. All their dogs come from puppy mills and when the dogs show problems mentally and physically down the road they do nothing to help. Yeah they say they'll rehome the dog for you but guess what your still eating the 4000 dollar bill for a dog you don't have. Worst company ever buy from a person who you can actually ho and see where the dogs have lived their puppy hood at because then you'll know what you're getting. Waste of time money and effort. 6 months in you'll realize what a huge mistake you've made.

It blows my mind that places like this still exist. Petland is truly one of the most unethical places I have ever seen. Please please please do not buy an overpriced health problem ridden puppy or any animal from them. If you want a puppy, find a responsible breeder. Never support Petland! You would be giving money to a puppy mill.

Devastated. Brought a pup home as a companion to our 2yo pup about a week ago. I noticed right away the fast talking of the salesgal - so much to keep track of if you have issues - and we are finding out the reason why.Our pup came home to us with Giardia, and some sort of respiratory virus. Our 2.5 year old dog has been in and out of the vets all week. We hope he survives. It doesn’t seem close to over as the pup being treated with giardia is showing sign of respiratory distress as well. 11:47pm and our 2.5 YO pup is gasping for every breath.

The puppies are adorable and seem to be well cared for although the price is extremely high. I went in to purchase a pet but when they gave me a price on the Schnauzer I wanted (6000$) my heart dropped and I respectively walked out.
