The service was not what I was expecting after reading reviews, as I was walking in and around not one person acknowledged that I was there. when it was time for me to check out there were no associates at the front I looked around the store and in the back office all of the employees were back there laughing and joking around. When one saw me it was another two or three minutes before anyone even considered coming out to help me. It was just very disappointing.

This is without a doubt the most helpful staff I've encountered. Each person I've talked with is genuinely friendly and eager to assist with finding the best item or food for my pet. I've been shopping at this location for years and although the staff has changed, the service has not. Five stars!!

Great store to buy your pet supplies. Being a member of their Pet Supplies Plus Preferred Pet Club ensures you get a steady stream of coupons in your email inbox to use to reduce your cost of pet supplies. Have a 10 month old puppy and bought a 30lb bag of food to last until we switch over to adult dog food. Coupon came at the right time.

No plus here. Went to buy fish and nothing's for sale. They have a nice setup, however it doesn't matter if fish aren't for sale and employees don't ask if you need help. I was there for about fifteen minutes and employees walked by like I was invisible.

I tried to leave a SECOND Review, but I'm only able to Edit my 1st. I just placed my 2nd Delivery order, this time with Kristin!!... I can't believe the Level of friendly customer service at the Florence, KY store. First LISA, and now KRISTIN!! She was not only Sweet but Super helpful and helped me figure out the online coupon code since my order was over $70!! Thank you so much!! I will definitely be a Repeat Client!!! A+A+LISA IS THE BEST AT FLORENCE KY STORE!!...My First Time having a big order delivered!! I'm a regular client, but recently got out of hosiptal, so my beautiful Goldador had ran out of Dry Redford & some other things. LISA walked me Through how to properly place a Delivery order and not only was Sweet Friendly & Helpful!!... but sent me a GET WELL Message on my Receipt!! SHE DESERVES 5 STARS & A RAISE!!! I love shopping at Pet Supplies Plus but will no longer frequent the Florence store. What shows in stock online is not accurate. My order always gets canceled. My card is charged immediately and not refunded for up to (3) days. I will now shop the Independence store, better service and inventory control.

Fantastic. The animals and fish are well cared for, the prices are good, and there is a good variety of fish, rodents, and reptiles. Very impressed. I found exactly what I was looking for for my aquarium, and more.

Not a bad little store...staff was friendly, it was clean, shelves were stocked. The Betta fish care was lacking to say the least. More than half were sick This store def has that mom & pop store kind of vibe so I was hoping it would be better than the other stores.

I'd like to do more business with Pet Supplies! My experience today was wonderful. I needed a new harness and the young lady made the adjustments. You just don't find a worker like her! The price was good. Better than Pet Smart. Wish they carried my girl's dogs food. No Iams wet food and no Eukanuba brands. My dog has grown up on these brands . I buy Blue Beef Steak Grillers for treats. I picked her out at 3:weeks and brought her home at 5:weeks. She is An American Staffordshire Terrier. People complement her shiney color and what a good girl she is. Very smart girl!

Every time I come to this store, the employees are friendly, courteous, and helpful. I go out of my way to come to this store, even though there are pet stores closer to where I live. I will say that it’s a smaller store, so there isn’t as much variety as a bigger box pet store, but Pet Supplies Plus tends to carry better/healthier products for your pet. Thanks Pet Supplies Florence for always being there to help and answer my questions!

Used to bathe my 4 dogs here all the time, but the last time I went, the prices had gone up and the water pressure went way down! My dogs are big, so trying to wet their whole coats with no water pressure was NOT fun. I still have 4 of the 5 punches left on my card because I couldn't bring myself to go through that with more than one of my dogs. They now get bathed at home when it's warm enough or another dog wash when it's cold.

I also love the prices and they have so many different things for all types of pets it's great! Guys if you have pets go check them out I could just keep going on

Great little pet store. Don't let the little store front fool you... This place is packed inside with just about any and everything you might find at a chain store with more square footage of retail space. And competitive pricing??? Forget about it. They will more then likely be cheaper and if they aren't I'm sure a price match isn't out of the question. The only drawback (for some) is the heavy petsy odor. But I loved it. Stop in and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

I love Pet Supplies Plus in Florence. I got an email with a good discount so ordered big dog food bag and kitty litter. Used curbside pickup so I didn't have to use my sprained back to load it all. Friendly staff and a coupon for next visit.

I used the pet wash there for my husky and the experience was not good at all. The water pressure was horrible. I have better water pressure in my camper... The “blow dryer” was just about as powerful as my hair dryer at home... It took me an hour to blow dry my dog. I bought the 5 for $25 wash and I feel like I wasted my money. The staff was fine, but it was just not a nice experience at all.

I just recently used the curbside pick up. I ordered my food online and received an email letting me know my order is ready for pick up. When I got to the store I clicked in the email letting them know I was there. I specified the make/model of my car and color of my car and parked right in front of the store. A gentleman came out with my order placed in the back of my car and thanked me. That was by far the fastest curbside pick up, from any store, I have ever had. Can’t wait to use this again!

Personally I like this store it's small but you can but bird and small pet food by the pound. So that suits my needs. I found a few sale items. Only thing I could say negative no assistance if you needed it. I'm sure if you asked for it you would get some.

This is a great idea and getting the membership card is free and easy. I save easily about $100 a year and I only go in 4 times a year for my cat. I stock up on dry food and with the savings you practically get one free. The wet food is hard to find good deals on so I do Kroger instead. They also have a nice selection of cat toys and pampering equipment. Also, they offer grooming services.

Very helpful staff,Stopped to get my dog a bath and this store has a stainless steel sink that could be rented to give my dog a bath.I was greatful as due to the covid 19 pandemic it has been very difficult to find this type of store where I could get my dog cleaned, or even better, I could do it myself.The cost was more than reasonable, considering what was supplied, space to clean dog, water, soap, de-sheading tools, towels and blow dryer all for one price.5 stars oh yesJim B.

I had two baby turtles for about two months and i decided to get a sucker fish and two snails to help keep the tank clean and one day later the fish died i started to notice that the turtles weren't eating or moving much but i didn't really think anything of it so the next day i decided to get another sucker fish and a gold fish and the very next day they both died and both of my turtles are dead now. When i asked if i should get a certain kind of fish they said not to because they had ick and would give it to the turtles but the others would be fine, they were wrong. Also when i was there i witness them cleaning all of the dead fish and there was about 30 and it was the second time they did it that day as i over heard them say. When they got my first sucker fish, the lady had picked it up with her hand instead of using a net, which is very bad for the fish, because it was easier. Bad service, bad management, and bad products. I have downloaded this app and made an account to let people know not to go to this pet store because there pets could die, even if you didn't get your pet from there. I will NEVER GO BACK and ask you not to go either, you don't want to kill your pets. This is by far the worst pet store i have been too and it seems all the animals are sick. I suggest that you go a little farther down the road to pet smart which has great service, great prices, great management, and great products. So to make my point i have spent the time to do all these things to warn people to NOT GO HERE! The place should be shut down. I hope you find my review helpful
