I would like to commence this review on a positive note by acknowledging the commendable skills and friendliness of the groomers at this establishment. They do an exceptional job managing my pups fluff. However, I encountered a concerning experience with their daycare service. Despite my effort to provide my dog with socialization opportunities, I received a call requesting her early pickup, accompanied by remarks from the owner insinuating that I should improve as a pet owner and that my dog is miserable. This encounter left me disheartened, and questioning the professionalism of the establishment. For these reasons I will not continue to frequent this business.

My dog Banjo has been getting groomed at Allies for a few years now. His most recent groomer (1or 2 years now) Allison has been great. She is always so excited to see him which makes me feel good knowing she will take good care of him. She also always does such a great job with making him look all clean and handsome. Today we decided to have some fun and do a blue Mohawk and he is the coolest Dood in the neighborhood now. 😎Thanks Allison for always taking such good care of our boy. Allies is lucky to have you and so are we. 😊

Two of my dogs go to Allies once a week. The staff are fantastic with my dogs. When we come in they call them by name. My dogs always come home tired from playing all day. A big bonus is when my dogs need groomed, they can get it done on their doggie daycare care because there is groomers on site. We also do the dog training at Allies with Jim from For Paws. The staff are so energetic and friendly.

My baby Lucy had her evaluation for boarding Tuesday night and I picked her up this morning. I was able to call or text Allie's to check on her. I'm very impressed! She will be staying there when I have surgery. The staff is wonderful! The handlers gave her all the loving she needed! I highly recommend your baby to stay there! Thank you Allie's Walkabout!

Allie’s experience for myself and Bennie has been excellent. The staff are always professional, friendly and supportive especially during Bennie’s difficulty w/ transitions and socialization skills. Their expertise and guidance helped transform a severely scared dog to a happy trusting dog who loves to play at Allie’s. Thank you!

One dog had a good experience, the other did not. I had called to check on them and was told everything was going great. I wish I had been told my girl was anxious when I called. I also did not know I had to leave a tip until checking out. Allie's was able to fit me last minute. I asked about my dog getting her nails trimmed. I was told, "If it's on the bill, it was done." I can't tell for sure if they were actually cut. I don't have any photos to share because I wasn't willing to pay $34/day for one or two pictures and a less than one minute video; during their 5 day stay there, they didn't make the cut for a Facebook post.My girl was excited when I dropped her off. I don't know what happened to make her progressively uncomfortable.

First time using Allie's for boarding, so you bring your dog in for an overnight evaluation. My dog is 30 lbs. with a white coat and has run my back yard for the first two year with not so much as one flea. Dropped her off at 6pm and picked her up at 9:30am.Upon getting home I noticed fleas so I took her to the shower to bath her. I could not believe how saturated she was with fleas. I spent two secessions in the shower for 45 minutes each on two days to get the infestation off. I calculated at least 300 fleas.Fast forward to leaving her for a 4 day trip, I gave them another try incase this was a one time thing. My dog was completely washed in the shower with shampoo before drop off and totally inspected for zero fleas. Upon picking her up, the first thing I did on getting home was look for fleas. My dog was again infested with fleas. One hour in the show with flea shampoo and a strong spray with at least 150 fleas coming off. The very next day I had to spend another hour until I was sure all fleas were gone, knocking off about another 100 fleas.I use Frontline, however it does not keep fleas from jumping on a dog, it is suppose to kill them within 24 hours. But do you want your dog covered with over 500 fleas biting you dog up to 1500 times in that 24 hour period? Yes they are tiny, but a small dog can actually become anemic from the blood loss from so many bites.All the reviews painted Allie's as the most wonderful place and it may be, except you better check you dog for fleas. You, of course, will not see me there. I truly hope they solve the problem so I waited a week after informing them for some kind of follow up, but no one every called with what they were doing to solve this issue.As requested by Allie's, my dog's name is Jersey. The first drop off was the 19th of September late afternoon picked up the next day 9:00 in the morning. The following week I dropped her off late afternoon the 26th of September and picked her up late afternoon on the 29th of September, but of course you already had this information because I called on Monday the 2nd of October to report this issue directly to Allie.

Great place for your dog. The staff gets to know you and your dog which makes the experience even better. The facility is exceptionally clean and you really cannot beat the impeccable customer service. I have had my dog boarded and groomed here so they provide full service. My dog comes home looking like the picture attached. Need I say more.

I am SO glad I found Allie's Walkabout!! I have an Aussie who is super nervous and anxiety ridden about being groomed, and they were so sweet and worked with my dog to help him feel more relaxed. We appreciate the careful evaluation given out pup prior to boarding. He also received training which was great. Unfortunately he did get kennel cough while there and despite having the Bortadella vaccine. We are new to boarding and are not sure this can be prevented.Our pup is on the mend and we would definitely try Allie’s again.

Allie's Walkabout is the best dog grooming service I have ever been too! I have a golden doodle named Harper and she is very energetic and her fur often mats because we don't do the best job at keeping up with it. I have been to a couple of different places to have her cut and every time she comes back too short. But Allie's did a great job! Harper was cut just the way I asked them to cut her and she looked great! She was also able to have fun and play with other dogs before her cut so she was nice and tired when she came home. Would highly recommend! Will definitely be back soon!

I started taking our dog to Allie’s Walkabout for puppy training 2 years ago. And continued from there to utilize their daycare. Every experience has been positive. Our pup is always happy to be there and loves the staff. My personal interactions have been just as positive. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. They are a great business to deal with!

We’ve taken our pup here for a few months and she LOVES it! She falls asleep within minutes of picking her up so I know she gets to spend her days there playing and having a great time. She can be a little difficult and I know the staff works with her on her downfalls and always gives great advice when I pick her up on what we can do at home so she has better (more behaved) days at Allie’s. We’ve also gotten her nails trimmed and the groomer did a great job. It’s a convenient one stop shop for daycare and grooming! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We love Allie’s!

After touring their facility and meeting with the staff, I was eager to take my German shepherd puppy in for her daycare evaluation. I could not be happier with the services provided by this team! Everyone is incredibly kind and helpful. They're always happy to answer any questions and make it a point to address my pup by name. I can rest easy when she is there, knowing she is in great care! When she comes home, she is happier and fulfilled!! Thanks Allie's - keep up the great work!

We love Allie's! All of the staff members know me and my dog by name and are so friendly. My dog Lacey loves daycare and gets so excited when we walk in, and comes home exhausted after daycare so I know she has had a good day. Staff is professional and really take the time to get to know the dogs. They inform you if you have a concern. They are great!

I love Allie's Walkabout. I always bring my pup here. He may look sweet, but he's a rescue and can be a little testy at times. Allie cuts charlie's hair every groom, and she does an excellent job. Charlie has only gotten better and better working with Allie, and it's super refreshing. Thanks guys, you're the best!

My dog loves to go to Day Care at Allie’s. When we get inside the staff is so friendly he wants to greet them and get back to the play area. When I pick him up he is tired and reluctant to leave. He has a great time and is well cared for. The staff updates me on any information I need. They have found some hot spots on him I was not aware of and let me know. They are always responsive to my calls. Most importantly my dog loves them.

We had been taking our dog here for a little over a year, because other places stated he was too hard to groom. The groomers at Allie's took such good care of him! They made sure he was comfortable and well cared for and so handsome when we picked him up. He passed and my husband called to cancel his next appt and then the next day these flowers showed up! In such a hard time for us, these flower bought a smile to our faces! This is an AMAZING place to take your fur babies and the love they show to you will be beyond anything you expect! So from this heartbroken fur mommy thank you Allie's Walkabout for the love and caring you have shown all around!

Allie’s has been a real gift to our family! Our newest rescue came to us with some real fear problems- new people and new dogs were really threatening to her. With the pandemic, those were the two things we couldn’t work on with her. We weren’t sure daycare was going to work out but we felt we had to try something. She did well in the evaluation due to the planning and strategies the staff at Allie’s provided. She has attended twice a week for the last month and continues to progress. The last two visits she has run through the doors to greet the staff and goes into the play area without a hitch. That alone has done a lot to lessen the stress for her dads! Carolyn, Haley, Ally, Mary, and Audrey always know who we are and seem to be genuinely happy Lolly is attending. The facility is beautiful and clean and the obvious care and love for the dogs is comforting and is the ultimate criteria. We are so happy to have found Allie’s Walkabout!

I do not recommend Allie’s Walk About unless you want your dog to come home with kennel cough. My dog is fully vaccinated. She stayed with them over Memorial Day weekend and contracted Kennel Cough. When I told them about it they refuse to compensate a portion of her stay or medical bills. and said it was my dogs fault for having a week immune system. They called my dog a “Covid Dog” because I work from home and she stays with me. We had blood work and X-rays and the vet said she was fine except for the kennel cough. I spent a lot of money preparing for this trip and getting her fully vaccinated to accommodate their policy. I will not be going back to Allie’s.

We love going to Allie's! We have had problems in the past with our dog's anxiety when getting groomed but Allie's has been the best to deal with so far. They are extremely patient and caring for your pets. After trying 4 groomers in two years, Allie's is definitely the best! Highly recommend their grooming services.

I absolutely love Allie’s. I was so nervous taking my dogs to a daycare/boarding for the first time. Ever single staff member I’ve met is so friendly and personable, and you can tell they love the animals. They made the adjustment transition so incredibly smooth, easy, and comfortable . We absolutely love Allie's! We weren't sure about sending our new puppy there, but after his first trip we knew it was the right decision. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they do a great job. I don't worry about my pup during the day when he is at Allie's!

Our Margot has gone to Allies for almost 7 years now. She absolutely loves them and she really enjoys playing all day!!! I knew she couldn’t handle being cooped up in a crate so after interviews I knew this was the place for us. I have confidence and absolutely no worries when leaving her with them.When we added Scooby to the family they loved on him right away too. He was nervous at first but they helped him feel comfortable and part of the extended family. He too is always excited when we tell him we are going to Allies 😊They always call our ‘kids’ by name. If they have health concerns they keep a special eye open and let us know if there is anything unusual. The personal touches mean so much to us. We love seeing pictures of the dogs at play 💗It is a great place and I am worry free when our kids stay at Allies. They are the best in my book!!!!

They know and understand every nuance about dogs. Especially my dog. As a big dog herself (55lbs.) go figure that she would be uncomfortable with other dogs her size and bigger. I never would have know that but the folks at Allie's do. They know just when to adapt her to another environment. Thankfully they have plenty of space to do that for her. Little did I know but she plays wonderfully with smaller dogs. Allie's discovered that about her...not me. The staff at Allie's Walkabout genuinely love animals and many of them are certified dog trainers. The others are trained to watch their "body language" to see which dogs are nervous, agitated, feeling happy, sad, tired, etc. The daily "nap times" from 12-2 pm help stave off grumpy, cranky dogs. I've even instigated nap time for my dog, Cleo, at home. There are times when I need my dog to be at day care for because I won't be home with her and then there are times I take her to daycare because I want her to be active and just be around other dogs for playtime. She loves her time at Allie's Walkabout whatever it's for and doesn't want to leave when I pick her up. I heartily recommend Allie's Walkabout.
