PLEASE PUT A LIST OF THE CUTS YOU DO ON YOUR WEB SITE FOR HOGS AND COWS...Pork chops were cut thicker than we wanted, most cuts were not how we wanted them. Had 2 hogs and wanted the meat separate from each other but they mixed them. Chops were tough because of the thicknesses.

I tried them out last year for the first time, I had been using Chandler’s in Winchester Ky, and they also do a great job, but I wanted to try somewhere new. I was blown away, I didn’t know there could be such a art to deer burger. These folks ground it to perfection, and packaged it perfectly. Honestly the best deer burger I’ve ever eaten. I also had some deer made into summer sausage and bologna. The summer sausage was good, but the bologna was outstanding a must try if you harvest a deer. The staff was friendly, and appreciated my business and I liked that. Highly recommend!

They are very and very unfriendly. For the last 3 months the prices increased 4 times. Initially the ground beef was 2.75 $ for a pound, then 3 $ then 3.50, and finally yesterday I paid 4$...I think when I will go next time I will pay 10$. Looking for another butcher. When we came to buy meat the owner was having his meal and he made us to wait about half an hour (with my pregnant wife). After that he gave us his attitude. The place itself very dirty and stinky. Feels like they do not flush and clean blood.

We had a hog butchered and packaged in March/April 2022Thus far, we have been very disappointed....the pork chops and bacon are so tough, and the ribs barely had any meat on them.We can not even eat any of the three.....the sausage is good, but very dissatisfied with the other products... Customer Satisfaction is key these days...and Im sorry to say we were so unhappy with our purchase....The Johnsons"

It was a clean place..just not very friendly. U have to bring coolers for ur meat. Didn't act like they were to happy about giving us boxes,but next time I'll know to bring my own containers.

TL:DR- Miscut/mislabeled meat and missing items. DO NOT USE THEM!!!Asked all the right questions before taking 2 steers here for USDA processing. They gave all the right answers. It’s just too bad they didn’t live up to any of them... Steaks were cut wrong, items were mislabeled, they lost ALL of my soup and marrow bones. Who the heck wants a 1/2in thick Ribeye that weighs THREE TENTHS OF A POUND?!? It CLEARLY said 1.25in thick on the cut sheet! They labeled my Filet Mignon as “Beef Medallions”. Not even as Tenderloin Medallions... just beef medallions. I had asked for Stew Meat. They claimed that they had only gotten 8lbs of that off of 2 steers?!? But it didn’t matter, because they couldn’t find it anyway. My almost 100lbs of various bones couldn’t be found either. But after 10-15 minutes of “searching” they found them. They had labeled them for a different farm. Now I’m wondering if the stuff I did get back was even from my cows. I will NEVER use this facility again! They are poorly managed, disorganized, and sloppy. I spend too much time/energy/money raising top quality, premium beef to let them (figuratively & literally) butcher it like that...

We purchased a Heifer from a local rancher that used Fairview Custom Butchering for processing. The processor called us the day they got the heifer and was friendly and very informative on the whole process. The place doesn't have a sign, but it's easy to see it's a butcher with an outside freezer door. We will make sure to use them again in the future.

friendly has a lot to choose from when u buy what they make ... but have had problems with meat i took up there i didnt get the cuts i ordered on a 900 pound beef .. i like them but i think they got a lot goin on and the help dont always check things before its to late
