I love Shaggy dog they gave my Aussie/healer (Angel) a bath nail trim and shave last summer and we were impressed by how professional they were as well as being friendly and their prices not being over the top. Overall I would highly recommend them.

They do a wonderful job. I have a doodle, which is notoriously hard to groom. They take just a couple of hours, always send a reminder text for his appointment, and he always looks handsome after a grooming. They make his hair feel softer than a cloud. My dog hates the blow dryer, but they take special measures such as wrapping his ears and using two groomers to make him more comfortable and easier to dry so he turns out looking great.

They are truly the best. I highly recommend you give them a try, you won't be disappointed. I bring my shitzu-poodle and mini schnauzer , my pups have no anxiety like they had prior to coming here. In fact they seem eager and happy to go to "spa" day at Shaggy, even if, on a rare occasion, a tangled mess. I WONT go to any other groomer, why would I when I've found the best.

They take such good care of my baby everytime. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking him anywhere else. He never stays in the holding kennel for long which I love. He can be aggressive and skittish and the staff always knows just how to take care of him gently and Sarah (a staff member) always sends me pictures and videos to reassure me he's doing just fine. We both have separation anxiety haha

Shaggy Dog always takes care of Teddy! They offer time slots throughout the day to accommodate most schedules! The location is extremely clean and you can tell the animals are well taken care of! Prices are fair!

Update: Again, if I could give zero stars I would. My dogs were supposed to get their nails trimmed when they were groomed. I was charged for it every time they went. I took them to the vet today to get their nails trimmed and she said that my shih tzu’s hadn’t been trimmed for over a year. This has upset me to no end. I wouldn’t take my babies back there for nothing. The vet said she didn’t know who our groomer was but she wouldn’t recommend we take them back there. Something needs to be done about the mistreatment of our fur babies.If I could give zero stars I would. I had been taking my fur babies to Shaggy Dog for quite a while. But the trust I had in them flew out the window in December 2022. I took my fur babies in to be groomed and when we got them home I noticed my Shih tzu’s eye was watering real bad. Not to mention her fur on her head was whacked up. It looked like a two year old had cut it. Long story short I had to take her to the vet for her eye. Her little eye had been cut twice by the groomer. After two weeks of pain meds and antibiotics she is better. She will always have a scar on her cornea thanks to their negligence. And they were supposed to cut their nails but I seriously doubt they did. My Shih tzu had a toenail that had grown into her pad. My fur babies will never go there again. And they said they were going to send a check for the vet bill but that never happened. Still waiting on the check.

My normal groomer didn’t call to reschedule my appointment or notify me she couldn’t get my dog in on his scheduled appointment. I have 2 days before we leave for vacation. I called shaggy dog and Kathy was so helpful and understanding and did everything to try and help me get my doodle fully groomed. Everyone was so nice and my baby left looking handsome!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Alfie loved them all!

Brought in an old rescue long hair Chihuahua we adopted a month ago, he had mats, overgrown nails and just a poor quality coat.Took him in and they took care of him! He looked amazing and smelled wonderful and felt so soft. He seemed to be feeling better too!He has never played with any of the toys we gave him, but now he's tossing them around like a puppy. He must feel good too!The price was so reasonable, they were professional and you can tell they love dogs! Definitely will be coming back again!

They took great care of Charlie and Macy and did an amazing job with grooming them and it did not take long at all. I did not had to leave my pets there all day for them to get groomed. Customer service was amazing and they were very upbeat and positive and felt comfortable leaving my fur babies.

Stopped by to see if I could get my baby washed and nails trimmed. They were able to take her right away and she was finished within an hour. The shop is clean and smells wonderful. They did an awesome job on my little girl. Her nails are fabulously short. Wish we lived here as this would definitely be my go to groomer.

Took our dog here for the first time on Saturday and had a amazing experience. They took amazing care of our baby. Sarah is such a sweetheart and will treat your dog as her own. Definitely worth the drive time and money.

Brought my son's cranky, anxious 9 year old Yorkie-Shih Tzu mix in for grooming about 3 months overdue. When I called to make the appointment I mentioned he may bite and will only allow my son to take him out of the kennel to make sure they would be able to accommodate our skittish dog. I also said that I think my ex-husband may have brought him in to them in the past. When they looked it up in the computer they said that yes they had taken care of him in the past and had all his special instructions. I made sure to mention that the name and number listed in the computer with the dog was my son's father, that we are divorced and that I would be the one bringing him, along with my number. On the day of the appointment, I had somehow entered the time wrong and we showed up an hour after our scheduled time. They still were able to fit him in, something I was quite impressed with. When we left I let them know I had to be at work soon and to please call as soon as he was ready. I once again went over my number vs. my ex-husband's in the computer and how they needed to call me. About half hour after the time amount they said it should take, just as I was getting ready to call them to see if they were done, I got a call from my ex husband asking if I had taken the dog to be groomed because he had a voicemail saying he was done. Overall that is the only complaint that I could possibly have with the whole situation as they did an excellent job on what I'm sure was a pretty difficult grooming job overall.Update-this continues to be the only place we bring our pets to be groomed. The people here go above and beyond

The people that work here is so good with my boxer and you can tell they truly love the animals that come into their establishment. My dog has anxiety and he loves them! I had to take him in after being in a kennel for a week so his anxiety was very high. They spent an hour with him, loving on him, and trying to make him comfortable so that they could bathe him. They go above and beyond making sure my Adam knows that he is safe and in loving hands. Thank you for taking care of my boy. I will not take him anywhere else.

Awesome place! Friendly, professional staff that deliver great care! Love the wonderful job Jes did on my dogs. She is very caring, talented and compassionate!! Yesterday was the first time my pups went to a groomer, so needless to say I was a little apprehensive not only for them but, also for the groomer. Jes reassured me she could handle whatever was thrown her way and they would be in great hands. I can’t imagine taking them to anyone else!!

I have a 100 pound German Shepherd who is terrified of baths but the staff cater to his needs so well and make his experience enjoyable. Very friendly atmosphere and clean facility. Staff goes above and beyond by sending pictures/videos to you as your dog is being groomed for your piece of mind wouldn't take my fur baby anywhere else.

Very professional. You can tell when you walk in or talk to them over the phone that they enjoy what they do. This was my first time using Shaggy Dog an I can tell you it won’t be the last! I brought my poodle to be groomed. They didn’t give the cut I asked for they charged more money then what was quoted over the phone. Then had the nerve to tell me he was not full blooded, and I explained he was registered. She said papers can be changed. My dog was breed by our close friends, show champions, if a groomer doesn’t know dog breeds and how they change with age, and can’t deliver the cut I ask for? She also stated she only does small dogs and wouldn’t cut him in the future. He wouldn’t be back to give you that chance lady.1st let me reply to how you responded. I received a voicemail telling me to take down my negative post! 1st you declined the cut she wanted, not the cut I wanted! She was agreeable, as you wouldn’t or couldn’t do the cut she wanted. That was disappointing but okay since it was his first cut. No big deal. It is my daughter’s dog. 2nd she never asked about why his hair was not curly, because it is. I can post the before picture that we took before dropping him off. 3rd we told you up front he was six months old! 4th you tell people their dogs aren’t what they say even when told they are registered. 5th you also told her you don’t like doing big dogs and probably wouldn’t keep him when he gets larger. We are not hard to get along with. You just don’t go telling people their dogs are not pure bread when we know exactly where ours came from. He is AKC registered out of champion blood lines. The breeder was not happy at all that you said this. We drove over an hour to your place. Glad we won’t make the trip again.
