My friend took her dog to be groomed at pet smart yesterday. When she got her back the poor dog was REALLY razor burned all over. She had no hair, just pink skin. They said they couldn't cut her nails because they were too long. The dog was in so much pain she couldn't even touch her. She had rub ice on her to settle her down. That is animal cruelty. My friend not one to speak up, but I am. I saw the dog myself and it was terrible. If it was my dog, I would be taking pictures and seeing them in court. Shame on you for doing that to this dog.

Wide selection of items that you might need for your fur babies. Place is very well stocked and very clean. No clutter in aisle like other stores. Associates are friendly and eager to help you find what you need.

They had what I was looking for plus at the time great prices also. I was greeted soon as I walked in, asking if I needed any help with anything. The store was very clean also.

For a pet store, they are alright. The animal verity is good. The prices are higher than other pet stores in the area. And the staff really isn't friendly or helpful. When asking for help, you get a lot of...i dont know. Or they point and go about what they were doing, which is talk to each other or their friends that come in. A little rude.

Nice store with wide selection but if you looking for a live new friend to take home I wouldn’t recommend doing so from here. The employees simply just didn’t know anything about the animals, even giving incorrect information that most likely would cauls serious health concerns to the animals. Having a lot of experience with these particular animals, I wasn’t comfortable purchasing anything live from this location do to these concerns.

Usually I had no problem with this place but today was pretty aggravating, I was taking my dog to the groomers and had a set appointment then they called me and asked if I could come in early so I did. Just for them to turn around and tell me I needed to reschedule because they didn’t have time. Thanks for wasting my time.

The grooming dept in Elizabethtown is very unprofessional. I took my dog in for a scheduled grooming appointment. The first thing the groomer told me was that they would try to groom my dog but her manager had flagged her as hard to trim her face and around her feet. So she said since it is Sunday we will attempt to groom her but if she is too hard to trim and we are afraid we might cut her we will stop and will call you to come and get her. I left her there and I got a call about 1/2 hour later to come and get her they couldn’t do it.” When I got there to pick her up they had literally completely shaved her bottom not trimmed shaved it down to the skin in 1 swipe!!! “ They shouldn’t have shaved her at all when she was there for a trim- that was just uncalled for!!! Then when I talked to the manager he said his employee did nothing wrong and didn’t half way listen to what I told him happened!!!

Bought fish from here two different times. All 3 of My neons were gone within a month.Today I purchased two orange and black Molly's to quarantine and later put in my display. One was dead before I got home 9 mins away....Also noted a very "stressed" green cheek conure (bird) acting off.... took a video, submitted to a vetranarian friend that specializes in bird rescues of all types. . . She informed me the reason the bird acts so happy and sociable but also stressed almost... hyper, they are severely neglected by the workers of any type of enrichment via verbal, in their cages, human touch, treats ect and NO enteraction from the employees, this is so when a bird or other animal such as a cat or puppy sees a human walk by they seem so in your face and friendly. They are literally ATTENTION STARVED, it's a sad policy they use to sell animals and its sick. Not happy at all .

This location is a better than average PetSmart. Very clean and attractive store. They do a better job with live fish than most PetSmart stores. They have good selection of most pet supplies and the staff that I've interacted with was polite and professional and made an effort to meet expectations. This is not a place to buy aquariums and stands as they have a very limited selection.

You know, when the store first opened up, I was seriously impressed with your betta display. Now, not so much. Every single one of these fish is living in an algae filled cup. Would you like to live like this? Just because they are lonely fished does not mean they have to be treated like this.

Purchased two zebra finches from them on 24.03.22 since they're the only local place that had them in stock.The girl who boxed them for us used kevlar gloves to pick up the birds (which are tiny, don't bite and can't claw) and ended up destroying the right wing of the female finch.I just took the bird to the vet today (26.03.22) ​to get her looked at and taken care of. Luckily, she is due to make a recovery, but the bill for an exotic pet isn't cheap. Now, the poor girl is in a holding tank for the next several weeks.After calling the store, I spoke to both a CSR and manager who weren't the least bit helpful or knowledgeable. Claimed I had to call an a few hours later just to talk to someone who might have some idea on how to treat the bird. Smh.The store does offer some unique pet treats, but they're at inflated prices compared to online retail. I'll never purchase from them again.

Absolutely DO NOT waste your time bringing your dog here for grooming. We brought our dog in for a scheduled grooming 2 weeks ago(that was scheduled weeks in advance) neither groomer decided to show up. The manager was apologetic and said it would not happen again. We rescheduled for today, arrived promptly at 7:30 to be told the groomer didn't show again. Obviously this store doesn't care one iota if you are out time, money, or anything else, just make an appointment and they'll skip out on you at their leisure.

I went in to purchase deworming medication for my cats (second time). I could not find anyone to help me so I asked the cashier. She told me where to find it. Ofcourse the only I found in the location she sent me to was flea medication. I searched the entire area and found nothing. I looked in the dig area and found several choices "for dogs only". I asked her again and she had a box of tape worm medication behind a locked door. She said that's all they carry! I said no I had gotten liquid medicine here before. She said she'd worked here since they opened and don't carry it. Very bad customer service as I had to search allover and she now said they don't carry it. What pet store doesn't carry simple worm meds for cats?? They had a wide selection for dogs. Thank goodness for Amazon.

Always nice people. We get our dogs groomed there, buy fish and aquarium supplies there. Not the cheapest place to shop, but the customer service more than makes a mends for the higher prices. FYI: The dog grooming cuts are as follows: Short, Shorter, Shortest. Don't expect a boutique cut, BUT you can make next day / short notice appointments, they are good with animals, and again are super nice to customers (unlike typical snotty local groomers). Like I said, good place for pets and people.
