They have a sign up above their normal business hours. That December 31st they open at 9am. So customers have shown up wanting to shop. They gave one guy attitude. And sent him away. Pointing at the 10am sign. Even though they gave a printed out paper that states. December 31st, new years eve open at 9am. Don't put that sign on your window if you aren't gonna follow it and then be rude to customers. Who clearly know how to read. Dollar tree employees might need to go back to grade school. Then they want to stand outside and gossip while smoking instead of following a sign clearly a manager posted.

Great variety of ever changing stock. The only really bad thing is there's nothing 1$ anymore, everythings 1.25$ and now they've added 3 & 5$ items. Time to rename the dollar tree to The 2nd FiveBelow

I've shopped there for years and not the greatest experience. But the last visit made me come here and leave a review.I walked in the other day, and there was ONE cashier, and at least 4 stockers on the floor. the line was going two different directions. backed UP. I asked the cashier is there somebody else to check out. she replies, she's aware of this and nobody else to help.Finally, I see a lady I guess in management walk in with her fast food. sees us in the long lines and goes straight into the office to eat. very unprofessional. then to make it worse, when the cashier finally checked me out, and I was leaving, I heard the cashier complain loudly to another worker that she was the only one ringing up. and she couldn't help it. and that customers where complaining. very unprofessional as well! there should never be one cashier working in this store.I've worked retail part time for over 10 years. I don't care how much stock you have. get to the register and take care of your customers. this is total disrespect to your customers who keeps you in business.

I am not happy with this store at all. A manager named Kimberly checked me out on 6/17/2023 at 7:50PM EST. As I was approaching her line to checkout she was about to walk away from the register, and she huffed and puffed, and rolled her eyes at the fact she had to turn around to check me out.. I stated “I could have went to the other line”, she still acted as if she had a stuck up attitude.. then I was searching for a Father’s Day balloon, at first I overlooked them, then she basically indirectly called me stupid because I didn’t see them… Absolutely disappointed, Dollar tree choose your managers wisely, she does not belong in that position, let alone doesn’t deserve that title. I understand all people have bad days but that’s NO excuse to take it out on a customer who did nothing wrong to you! EDIT: WOW after reading everyone else’s reviews about the poor management team I will NEVER step foot back into this dollar tree. DOLLAR TREE DO BETTER!!

Despite being as short staffed as everyone else the store is clean and well stocked. Cashier was snippy but she had just been given a verbal lashing by two consecutive Karens over things out of her control. Hopefully they get better staffing soon so one person isn't stuck dealing with all the unfit for the public drama queens

Experience was okay until time to check out. Lane one was the only one with a cashier, older lady moving kinda slow but doing her best. There were about 15 people in line waiting to be checked out, the line extended to the back of store wall & around.. i was about 6th in line and had been there about 10 minutes waiting when JANICE walks up to register 2 & a woman passing her she says 'are you ready to check out? I can take you so you dont have to wait' so she took someone not even in line to check out, everyone in line was beyond irritated as we all had our arms full and been standing there but she picks someone not even in line to check out. Wont be getting my business again.

The older lady that works here is a complete mess. Took 5 people standing at the front door to finally have her come and open it after they were supposed to be open for 10 minutes. After we made our selections and took them to the register she told me that I had to take my items out of the basket we had them in because she couldn't lift them in a rude demeanor, ok that's fine. Our total was 20.85 and we handed her 40 bucks because I only had 20s and she acted like it was going to be such a hassle to make change. I'm sorry that we caused such an incredible inconvenience for you. Maybe you should work at a morgue instead.

Every time I visit this location it is one register open and about 10 people in line. The line will be so long it goes to the end of the aisle, going to the back of the store. I could understand if they were truly understaffed however, they will have people stocking shelves when they should be working the register. Makes zero sense!

First off, the store is neat and well stocked. And secondly the employees are very kind and considerate. I was buying presents and was $5 short, and one of the ladies paid the fives bucks so that I could afford it! I've never seen such generosity, I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

This particular Dollar Tree was clean and the staff was very helpful. I went looking for the 14 inch stackable pots but they do not have them. This is the 10th or 12th location I have looked. No exaggeration, I've been as far north as New Albany, Indiana, or Corydon, Indiana and down to Grayson County, Brandenburg, and all locations in between. I've been to several of the locals in Louisville, not all, but several and no luck AT ALL. Disappointed that corporate won't keep them stocked but other than that, I enjoy this store for what it is.

Biggest complaint is that the with the exception of maybe one or two employees that I have dealt with at this location they are all rude. I cannot believe that they denied my child the use of the restroom when they were not even closing for another 2 hours. The laziness and lack of care and concern for their own store let alone their patrons is appalling. I would rather spend more money and get better service than save money in any one of these stores again. The only reason they got one star is because I could not give a zero star rating.

Possible Mgr was very rude speaking to a customer who was there to get balloons. She said"I'll have to go over here".the way her voice said over here was like she wasn't liking the idea.No smile or eye contact from the clerks.

I told my cashier Susie 3 times plus my sister, the stuff behind mine wasn't mine and she kept going. Good thing it was my sister's or else I would have freaked out. Then she told my total was $25.35 I gave her 35 cents and she told no it was 38 cents not 35. She is very rude.

If you are contemplating if a trip to Elizabethtown Dollar tree is worth it let me make the answer for you.The trip to Elizabethtown Dollar tree will not be wasted!!This is my first time being there and I've lived in Kentucky for 17 years.This table is one of the cheap $16 tables from family Dollar I don't like the fact that you can see the square shape of legs underneathI needed to add some color to my living room I purchased artificial flowers from family Dollar and then went to Elizabethtown Dollar tree and purchase poster board and wall decals take it to the legs and now it's finished it looks awesome thank you for helping me cover up what I thought looked bad.

Went to dollar tree today to get 2 birthday cards & 1 pack of shipping labels. When I went to pay, my total came up more than what it was supposed to. Heartline cards are 2 for $1, which is what I was buying and shipping labels are $1. My total came up to $2.65, which it should have been $2.16. When I mentioned it to the cashier (Tereasa), instead of fixing her error she argued with me about it even after I explained her error. I then just went ahead and paid the total she came up with because 50 cents isn’t worth the argument. After I received my receipt, I even showed her how she rung up the shipping labels twice, but she still continued to argue with me. It’s literally 50 cents woman, get off your high horse and have some good customer service. The customer isn’t always right, but there is no need to argue with them, especially when they are right!

They always overcharge me. They ring up things multiple times. I told the corporate and they still did not help me. I guess I will just stop shopping at this chain of stores all together. Very disappointed in my overall experience and being charged too many times.

Another dollar store with 3 employees working with 1 register open while the other two don't bother to help the line of people. 10+ minute wait times are all too often. Never an emphasis on quick service workers are always chatty.

The young lady I asked to help me find something was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the lady who checked me out was anything but kind. She made it clear she was not happy that I needed to get some balloons blown up. I pray her day improved.

Everything a dollar or less. Wait time at checkout is sometimes 10 minutes or longer. They need to seriously work on that. If your in a hurry not the place to go. If you have time and want it cheap it's a great place
