Great place for a family atmosphere. A little unorganized because the shelves are overloaded. You have to look hard if you want something. The store does have everything you need. So overloading is a good thing. Thanks to the people at Dollar General.

You know, going to the store after you've downloaded their app and clipped there coupons, and expect those discounts to be applied at the register when you enter your phone number BUT THEY NEVER DO. How many times have you walked out of Dollar general baking that you've saved money because I guarantee you if you go back and look at those receipts your discount was never taken off. We've all been played. And not just by the store buy all Dollar generals. They're advertised prices never match the store prices EVER. I'm sick of this and I feel like their should be like a class act lawsuit started.

I HIGHLY do NOT recommend this store whatsoever!Tonight we stopped in to get a few things, we got out to the checkout, and the cashier had an awful attitude with my husband over phone chargers. They were labeled as 10% off and it seemed like it was the end of the world we said something.My FOUR year old was standing right in front of the register and kept bumping into the printer. Both of her parents (me and my husband) were behind her, we thought she was just bumping into the wood. All at once the cashier decided to JUMP our daughter, saying ‘stop hitting the printer’ (very hateful) obviously she has no idea what a printer is & we didn’t even fully realize she was doing something wrong. She was standing just moving side to side waiting patiently. Once he realized he had upset us he said ‘sorry but please stop’.YOU DO NOT JUMP ON TO SOMEONE ELSES CHILD. And you dang sure do not scare her the way he did. I had to walk out because I thought I was going to explode.We understand our daughter was doing something she shouldn’t have, but she didn’t realize she was and neither did we, until that last time. She literally got SCARED when he did that. While I walked her out she said ‘that man is mean he scares me’.We will definitely be speaking to a manager tomorrow and I hope and pray he gets fired.And we WILL NEVER step foot back in there unless we know he has been fired.A FOUR year old was actually standing there being VERY good, patient and quiet. And got literally scared, and jumped on for something she was doing accidentally.

I got a few deals here today. I love their $3 paperback books because I am a fast reader. I wish they stocked more mystery and thrillers instead of romance though

I love shopping at DG's. This one is close to my house and work. Also, it's open until 10 so I have time after work to grab some things on my way home. The recent remodel did wonders for this location. The staff is decent and the store is always clean. I still have trouble finding things since the remodel, but enjoy walking around finding random things to throw in the cart.

Staff completly ignored me, and made me feel like I was a nuisance for trying to find something. I have always treated everyone here with kindness and have never disrespected the store. Needless to say, Ill go up the road from now on.

Store is very clean and the staff are friendly! People need to do a better job of putting their things back where they found them instead of setting them around the store where they don'tbelong. I am sure the employees would appreciate that!

Best store in Etown. Is so big inside, very long freezer. So organized and clean compared to all others. How have I not known about this yet? Loved it!

It is ok if you need something and are trying to avoid going all the way into town. It is so busy, two ppl are not enough, lines are big, shelves are usually bare. It's a 50/50 chance they will have what you need. It is still worth the chance.

Every time you walk In that store there are boxes and trash everywhere. That day a lady that was putting things away, left a big sharp pair of scissors right in the middle of the walkway along with boxes and plastic. Accident waiting to happen. She was NOT helping a customer or on a register she was just walking around.

I had to leave immediately at the first Dollar General because these 2 ladies were talking to the clerk about her allergies, coughing and runny nose. Neither one of them at a mask on. I told the clerk I refuse to give them my business when they don't make people follow the guidelines pertaining to this pandemic. It infuriates me that people can't do such a small thing that could save other's lives. There is a sign that they had to walk pass as they entered. You can purchase masks anywhere now so there is no excuse for this. In my opinion the clerks are as guilty as the offenders when they don't remind them masks are required. Why is that sign up if no one is being made to follow it? Is the all mighty dollar more important than human lives? This is a serious problem that needs immediate attention.
