Dixie Pet Stop staff are the best. We have left Elrey 3 times. This past stay was the longest we left him. He gets the best interaction with other dogs and staff are so great at making sure he’s safe. I don’t trust anyone else. Thank you so much for your wonderful service. We will see you again.

When my Dad died unexpectedly and I needed to leave town for 3 days I called Dixie Pet Shop and they were willing to keep my dog even on such a short notice. It was such a relief to have a safe and caring place for my dog! I will definitely leave my dog there in the future if/when the need arises.

Great place for your furry member of the family! Grooming, daycare, boarding! Bring your fur baby to play if they have a lot of energy or if you want them to socialize more. Boarding is available for whenever you need be it unexpected emergencies or even when it comes to the holidays! You can also get your fur baby a new cut or nails trimmed or even a bath for those who like to ruff it 😉. They do it all!

Not the best boarding experience. They didn't let us tour the facility because they pretty much let all the dogs roam around together inside and outside the facility. We dropped off our two rottweilers, one of which does get aggressive when he's scared (like at the vet or when he's getting his nails trimmed). They wouldn't let me take him back there to ease his fear and then called us the next day saying he was showing teeth and being aggressive. When we picked him up the first thing they told us was that they could have called the pound and the pound would have put him down. What great customer service (sarcasm). I would recommend a more structured and expensive boarding facility.

As always, the staff took excellent care of my large cat, Jester, when we were out of town. He always craves attention and they are so sweet to love on him. He was happy and well groomed when we picked him up. The owner was good as always to explain how he did and any issues that came up during his stay. Highly recommend Dixie Pet Stop for your boarding needs.

We love Sit Stay and Play! The entire staff is always so friendly and takes great care of our two dogs Rosie and Nala. We have had great experiences with this boarding place for about a year now! We always love to hear how our doggies were and they always seem to have an eye on them and tell us how they are doing. Sometimes we get have a look on their Facebook page when they post videos of the dogs :) they have a great outdoors area for the dogs to run and play! Thank you for all you do!

We couldn't ask for a better place for our girl, Belle. The staff treats their dog visitors like they are their own, and takes such great care of them. She loves to visit, whether it's for a day of play, or a longer period when we are out of town and need to board her.Best of all, prices are reasonable, and they let the dogs be themselves and have fun. We love that Belle gets to run and play, or lay back and take a nap, depending on how she's feeling for the day!

We love Dixie Pet Stop! Our puppy Nuna has started daycare and boarding here. She comes home super tired from playing all day! Nuna was shy when she first came here, but the staff worked so well with her to make sure she's comfortable. I highly recommend them!

I took my mom dog Zoey to get groomed she was much over due...the place was clean and well respected I went picked Zoey up OMGOODNESS she is absolutely beautiful done the most amazing grooming I want thank sit stay and play for time on Zoey thank you so much It will be the place I take Zoey from now on I do recommend it and price is is great thank you again

absolutely do not use the place if you can avoid it. They are rude and will not care for your dogs. If you do not believe me stop by Country Critters Vet clinic in Rural King and they can confirm. Their Vet will not even take their own dog there after dealing with them. Same experience we had. I just do not want anyone else to have to go though boarding their fur babies and having them locked in a cage the entire time because they do not want to watch them. They use the hyper excuse on any dog who does not sit there like it is a zombie. If you have active dogs that like to play this is not the place for you.

We had to board our dog for a week and the boarding price was fair. We never got a call saying that he could not be in group with the other dogs and wasn't able to play with them at all. According to the workers he was aggressive towards other male dogs. To me it sounded like they kept him locked in his kennel for a majority of the day with very little interaction. He also had a bath and deshedding and we were charged $80, which we were never told what the price was going to be upfront. The job that was done does not look any different from what we could do at home. Once he got home he was salivating for a treat and started eating half of his bowl of dog food. He was panting non stop from when I picked him up till when he got home. I would not recommend this business. I know I will not be doing any business with them anymore.

We boarded our two small guinea pigs here for a week while we were out of town. Our pets appeared to be well cared for. Much more reasonably priced than other options in the area for boarding. Not only did they take good care of our pets, but went above and beyond to go shopping for more vegetables and treats when our guinea pigs had finished all of the veggies/treats I had originally supplied. When I picked up the pigs, another customer had also arrived to pick up her dog, and the dog appeared to be well cared for. Friendly staff here, good experience with them. I will continue to do business here.

My fur babies start barking as soon as they see the Honda dealership, they are so excited to get their "play" on. In my 4 years of taking my kids there, I have not had one bad experience. I just love that they have such a huge yard for the dogs to run and play as well as the indoor area. In the summer time, they bring out the dog pools and let the puppies play in the water along with chasing the hose - my kids personal favorite. I have never had a problem with the personnel that work there, they are all pretty cool and if there is ever a problem with one of my kids, like throwing up, eating grass, etc....they immediately contact me. Not sure what everyone is saying about this place being over crowded, when they post video's, it does not look crowded to me like other puppy day cares where dogs are sitting on top of each other. 2 thumbs up for the facility, room to run, and owner/staff.

Had gone here once for grooming and the groomer was very friendly but this time I went there was a new groomer. Super unfriendly and most of the staff are, upon dropping my dog off I saw how roughly they were handling the other dogs, not to mentioned it smelled bad in there and everyone has a IDGAF attitude. It went downhill from my first experience. My dog is elderly and already has problems with her joints but walks fine but after picking her up she’s been limping very badly and has been having odd behavior

We were nervous about dropping off our nervous boxer for a long weekend and they assured us everything would go smoothly. When we picked him up they told us he did great and the employee we checked him out with knew exactly who he was, stating she had been with him all weekend. 10/10, will recommend and use over and over again.

I have taken my Aussies here for 4 years. We love everyone at daycare! Last summer I went to Europe for almost a month and my dogs boarded 3 days each week while I was gone and I knew they were taken care of by great people. I worked in Louisville and on days I got stuck in traffic after teaching a late class, all I had to do was call and ask for my pups to stay the night. It is such peace of mind to have a place to take my fur babies where I know they are cared for and loved. I've never groomed here but I can whole-heartedly vouch for the daycare and boarding!

I have never had such a negative experience with a kennel. If I could rate them zero I would. I left my two dogs with 3 weeks worth of food for their 10 day stay. They came back one down at least 26 pounds and one down 11 pounds. Ribs showing hips showing. Come to find out they were feeding my dogs half of what they regularly eat (I even told the girl to write it down when I dropped them off) yet all my food was gone. Who ate all the food because it certainly wasn't the starving dogs that were returned to me. One dog has cuts all over his face which no one even mentioned to me when I picked them up or when I called to check on them. The other came out with a huge swollen wrist that he can barely walk on and the staff claims they have no idea when that happened. Off to get X-ray's tomorrow. He also broke a nail completely down to the quick. It bleeds every time he goes outside and I KNOW it had to have bled a LOT while he was there. That is insanely painful. Someone should of called me to let me know or at a MINIMUM told me when I picked him up. Yet this idiot staff claims to know nothing of his injuries. I understand injuries are a risk of leaving them in a kennel where they are allowed to play but when I called the kennel to ask when these injuries happen the manager and the staff knows nothing. Either 1. They are lying to me or 2. They truly are that non observant. Either way I would never trust them with my dogs again. When I pick up my dogs from a vacation the last thing I should be doing is putting weight back on 2 starving dogs and treating them for injuries and infections from untreated injuries. I am disgusted with this business. Losing 30 pounds in ten days is abuse. I tried to have a meeting with the manager today and left with more frustrations. They had a weak excuse for everything, called me a liar (even though I have pictures of my dogs and their injuries) never once apologized or took any ownership for their part and at the end they blamed my dogs for everything. I have never had a business treat me so poorly. As a local vet I will never refer a client to this business let alone trust them with my own dogs.

Owner is very unprofessional and complain about dogs if they are hyper and need training. I understand hyper dogs are alot of work but don't own a kennel if you can't handle all types of dogs. Owner gave me a flyer for training and I am going to do training but choose to also complain to my daughter after I already said I was gonna get it. My dogs are not 100 lb dogs they are 40 and 50so not aggressive either. Just asking for some professionalism.

I have taken my dogs twice to get groomed there. In both instances, the job was poorly done. They did not clean out the ears. They are fairly expensive. I complained about the ears the first time. The second time, I gave detailed instructions to clean the ears and it still wasn't done. When I called to speak to the manager about this experience, she would not return my calls. I can not recommend this place. Icing on the cake...my dog got kennel cough here (even with the bordatella vaccine).

They took amazing care of our Pit over the Thanksgiving holiday.... She also got a bath while there and their amazing groomer got her to sit still for a nail trimming which we are never able to do! We will definitely be using this place again.... It's clean and the staff are all so friendly and really do care for the dogs!!!

Not a good experience for so many reasons.Upon first arrival, I contacted my vet from out of state to fax over vaccinations. I was asked to leave with my pets because I “was keeping them past closing time” sine the vaccinations didn’t come in. She ended up having to call her boss to get the correct fax number so the delay was actually her fault because she didn’t provide the correct number.I signed up at least 3 times for access to the private Facebook page to see pictures and videos of my dogs experience. This never happened- not even an explanation as to why when I inquired about it except, “I don’t know.”Employees don’t seem to care about the animals. They were rude to people and rough with animals.The cost is excessive. There’s more but that’s enough for now.

After taking my dogs here several times and having a so-so experience, this last time is the last. I paid $500 for 3 dogs for 6 days. I find it hard to believe that it costs THAT much to take minimal care of 3 dogs. As if the extremely high price wasn't bad enough, 2 of my 3 pups returned with stomach issues. My 8 y/o am bulldog and 4 y/o scotty came back with diarrhea worse than I have ever seen...like explosive. Clearly I paid $500 for disservice. I wouldn't recommend taking your dogs here regularly, if at all. I will gladly hire a friend for far less and get twice the care for my dogs the next time I go out of town.

Do not recommend this place! Our dog stayed there for 2 weeks while we were on vacation. He came home with scabs all over him, was not himself (usually very active, but no where near that when he got home). Turned out he had a bad bacterial infection and his eyes had green stuff running out of them. Contacted the office and was told Management would return my call and they have yet to return my call.

My pet passed away the morning of our grooming appointment. I forgot to call and inform them. They called me and when i told them the pet had passed that morning i was chastised by the insentiveve and rude person making calls about how busy they were and i should have called so they could have filled it. Reviewed it on Facebook and got a message from the company telling me that it was innacurate and no errors we made on their part. My husband and family both heard the person who called originally. Will NOT be taking any of my other animals here and will not recommend to anyone due to the IDGAF attitude of every staff member i dealt with. Would give 0/10 if possible.

Not worth the money because they don't know what they are doing. I'm not about to leave my fur babies with people who don't know what they are doing. I was thinking about boarding my dog for a few days while I was going to have surgery on a hernia repair but forget about that I don't trust them with my dog. They have no respect for the animals in their care what so ever.
