I hope some of you will take the time, read this, and advise me if i should show these photos to an owner/executive.This Dollar General is NOT safe, in my opinion. It stays in the same condition each week: with products packed in metal crates blocking the aisles, with shelves sometimes sitting empty for a week or more.While you look at these photos, imagine being disabled and having to shop here. What if you had the difficult task of navigating this maze from a wheelchair? I wonder what the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) would say or do about this?I think of the employees working in this place, too. Who wants to work in that type of environment? I wouldn't want to work around all that stock stacked up sky-high around me every day. It'd be really disheartening.I wonder- how do the companies who make the products that this store sells feel about their merchandise being handled in such a careless manner? If it was something that I made, sold, or owned, I would be very upset. The lack of care, the disregard of keeping the quality of my products intact, would cause me to issue an ultimatum: if you can't get your act together in a week, and start caring for my things the way I, myself, would care for them, then I'll no longer allow you the HONOR of selling my brand in ANY of your stores.Perhaps it's the company's fault, though. Maybe they refuse to employ enough workers to get things done in a timely fashion. They might pay the very minimum by law, and then expectx you to do the work that should earn you double or more. I don't know whose at fault, but SOMEONE needs to take responsibility and fix it, whether it's technically part of their job, or not.If the people currently employed there CAN'T do the job properly, then the company needs to find and hire people who CAN and WILL. The store I'm showing you pictures of has been like this for a few years now, at minimum. I know that there are good, hard-working people who are capable and eager to work. There are people who would be THRILLED to have a job TODAY, since we're going through this terrible time in our country. So, so many are currently out of work.I usually don't write long, boring reviews like this; my reviews are mostly 3 sentences or less! I felt the need to actually SHOW what is happening, because in my opinion, a child, senior citizen, person with a disability, or even a perfectly average grown-up with no disabilities is going to get hurt at this place. I believe it's just a matter of time.

The employees are great! I'm a really big guy and it's hard to find my size in clothes,, but the store manager tries to make sure to help get stuff in for me that will fit.I really appreciate that along with their helping attitude makes everyone in the town of Eddyville very grateful 💯💙👍🏼

The isles were crammed full of stock that is never put on the shelves. A lot of their shelves are missing the items to purchase because they are always still in boxes parked in the middle of the isles. Dangerous to even try to walk through. Major safety Hazzard.

I usually have no problems, but I was shorted $9. I have cashier $100 & was supposed to receive $93 back. She didn't count the money back to me. I didn't notice til I got home that she had given me $84 back in change. She may have had a 1 in 10 slot?!? But, I called and they said they would count her register. That never got resolved

Terrible! Service was horrible and the manager refused to come help when asked by the overwhelmed employee. They really need to close this location is this is the best they can do.

This is ultimately the worst Dollar General I have ever been in! Save your time and go up the road to the next one, it is way better! I do not see how this one stays open!

The male employee that works here is disrespectful, a smartass and just plain rude EVERY TIME that i come to the DG. If he dont like his job than maybe he needs to find a new one instead of having the demeanor that he hates his life and would rather be anywhere else than at his job. It makes me not even want to come there anymore. Really fed up with his smartass comments when asked a question.

Staff are friendly but it never seems very organized. Carts used for stocking seemed to be left out no matter what day you go in.

The food is good however the service is hit & miss. They have some awesome wait staff but there are a few that should find another job to say the least

Best selection in eddyville lol but not real organised but vary friendly staff and a clean place . Wal-Mart is only 10 min up the road in Princeton tho. Price is fine tho.

I find this store very convenient...i have never not been able to find what I need ...when I needed it..like some dollar stores shelves are. Empty when I need things.

You need to change the hours posted here. This store is NOT open at 7! I wasted a trip only to find the store closed. Not cool and needs to be fixed.

I can always find alot of things i like. They just need to expand, bigger building and more parking.
