We adopted two pets from the Danville petsense and shop there for all our pet needs. Amazing staff and especially big shout out to Haley! She's always excited to hear updates on how our new pets are doing and she's very knowledgeable! Highly recommended!

I visited this store for the first time today and I wish I would have sooner. I was greeted by a friendly lady who asked me what I needed help finding. I told her it was my first time here and she showed me around. I told her about Toby my dog, his is 12 and Millie is 8. She told me about a food that better helps my Toby! I’ve never tried the brand of 4 Health but she said it was good. I also got to meet the cats they have for adoption. Willow is so sweet but Toby and Millie just won’t let the spot light off himself. I talked to the groom shop and the prices are good. They also price match and you get a free bag of dog food after you buy 10!!!! I will be shppping here again because of the great customer service, how nice they were, prices and how clean the store and the animals was.

WHEN I COME IN AND HAVE ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES GET THE DOG FOOD I NEED, IS FINE, BUT WALKING FROM THE PARKING LOT TO YOUR DOOR I NEED A CHAIR, TO SIT FOR AWHILE, I HAVE A BAD BACK ,BONE ON BONE / ARTHRITIS. BY THE TIME I GET TO THE DOOR IM OUT OF BREATHE FROM COPD . SO IF YOU CAN GET A CHAIR AT LEAST BY THE DOOR IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL, MAYBE RESTING A LITTLE I CAN VENTURE THROUGH THE STORE AND SEE WHAT ELSE TO BUY.

The kittens in the window caught my eye so I had to go in. Promptly we were greeted by a very knowledge and helpful employee. She was so excited to talk about the kittens and the person/rescue they work with to place the animals. The store was well stocked and clean. It didn’t smell like it had animals at all, which is really nice!! When I return to Danville this store will be on my “stop here” list!

These people are angels. I had to reschedule my dog for grooming several times due to multiple circumstances. They have been so gracious and kind. I did get my other dog groomed last month and thought they did a great job. Maltipoo dogs can sometimes go in to some places and get a really bad and embarrassing haircut lolNot a problem here; they listen to you and give you the desired look. They’re also now doing a “Glam” package where her nails will get painted as well!

I just wanted to say that I didn’t even come in for pet supplies, I got locked out of my car and my phone had just died, and I didn’t have a phone charger on me. I went into the nearest store-this one- nearly in tears. The gentleman who helped me not only helped me look up a locksmith, but also let me borrow a phone charger. I meant to ask him for his name but forgot. Thank you for being so kind and helpful. It goes a long way.

The store has good variety for their size and they assist with adoption of cats. The store staff are friendly and helpful.I have also used the on site groomers. I will note that the groomers charge differently based on who is working on the animals.I had one groomer work on my large breed dog at the beginning on shedding season, so there was lots of work. The second groomer only had upkeep from the first groomer. She charged 40.00 more, Poorly shaved my dogs behind, and said next time she would charge more. This made me feel like i was being scammed. The front desk staff explained they have no control of the groomers. Keep this in mind when scheduling appointments and consistency.

Reasonably priced and had just what I needed for my 3 lb adult rescue, she is tiny! Same prices as amazon but I didn't have to wait on and order to arrive!! Staff was extremely helpful with teething! They offer owner training at this location!!

This is an amazing pet store. Not only do they honestly care about customers and their pets but go the extra mile in our current Virus situation. They have a nice supply of items and they also adopt out pets. While I met with Jennifer early on Monday (she worked with my schedule and I was very grateful she could work me in early) and while I was there five cats (2 sibling 4 mos olds, 1 six month old, a 1 year old and another were brought in for adoption. I begged not to see them because I have a bunny at home and bringing home cats would be a challenge for them, the bunny and me. The new to be adopted were in good shape and one (1 year old) already had someone to adopt it the next morning. Jennifer stated it was also their hope to adopt out the two siblings and that told me how caring all involved were of life in all forms. Very impressive store and personnel. Five stars is not enough!

They were a very courteous and knowledgeable staff that really seemed to love and care for your animals! They did a great job grooming my black lab! She has never shined, smelt, looked and felt better! And also I was looking for some food for my dog and they gave me free samples and were very knowledgeable about the nutritional information and the dietary needs of my dog! She absolutely loves the duck and potatoes grain free food!

Petsense is an excellent store. Although it’s not publicly advertised they do honor competitors prices. The staff is always nice and so helpful. I highly recommend for all your pet shopping needs.

A great, small pet store with very friendly staff. Let's are always welcome as long as they are behaved and they have a ton of treats and toys as well as most over let care needs. The prices may be slightly higher than a big box store, but your pet selecting their own treats makes up for every penny.

Great little pet store... They have a wonderful selection of products. And they offer a free bag of dog 🐕 food after you buy so many. That to me is reason enough to keep coming back 🎉 They also have very helpful knowledgable employees working here that go above and beyond to try and help you find what you are looking for. And if for some reason they don't carry the product that you were interested in purchasing they will do their very best to find you a product comparable and you don't have to worry that they are going to try and push the most expensive items on you. They actually listen to your needs and try and help you out. And if they aren't able to find what you are looking for they will be honest with you and even help by suggesting another location where you might be able to find it. I find that to be very refreshing in this day and time that their are people still out there that realize that people's time is valuable and no one else has the right to be wasting it . So if you want to save money and earn free bags of dog 🐕 food, deal with friendly helpful people that aren't going to just waste your time shop at Petsense 👍 You'll be happy that you did 😊

I really enjoyed my stop here. Millie, our KC Spaniel needed a haircut. I called, they fit me in same day, Millie looks great. Ask for Crystal, she does an awesome job. Friendly staff!

We do not take our dog there any longer for grooming because the place makes her so nervous she gets diarrhea while she is there. This has never and does not happen anywhere else. I'm not sure what the issue is but she definitely freaks out when she realizes she is there to be groomed. So we choose not to put her through that ordeal.

Very helpful staff. They have a fair selection on random small pets but are mainly equipped with cat and dog suppliesI've never seen the place dirty..or any problems in the grooming area..animals housed here have always so far looked really good..some prices may be a bit higher than other places, and the only thing I would complain about is that the beta selection they have is of older fish -which of course only gives people about a year or two with them younger beta can last five years and longer. I know and am in the market for another Ours just died and was five years and three months believe it or not from the nictorious bad fish selection of Walmart in Harrodsburg. ( An that should say something considering). So all in all accept for fishy an some prices...our family likes this place... Hope this helps
