By far the worst experience I have had with a pharmacy. Called many times and was on hold 20, 30 minutes. The phone was never answered. I needed medication after a major surgery and it was delayed multiple times and the drive thru was closed so I had to walk in which is incredibly painful after a major abdominal surgery. I might even be able to forgive it if it had just been this one time but this is like the 5th or 6th time my prescriptions were delayed by at least a day. I will never ever ever darken the door of CVS again.

The pharmacy is a disaster! Staff appears over worked and understaffed at all times. It's one thing to take forever, but it is compounded by poor customer service. Most of the time your presence is never even acknowledged. Please fix.

To be honest I hate shopping this particular store. The only reason I do is due to convenience to my work. They are all rude and if not rude just no smiling faces and act like you are inconveniencing them. It's really sad. We all even talk about it at work how bad it is but today was different. The sweetest ray of sunshine was at the register today. My receipt says her name was Lace. Cashier # 2214492. I told her so too. I thanked her for being so sweet and patient. The customers in front of me were older and having a harder time understanding a certain process and she was so patient with them. Even took time (with a smile) to leave the register to go find them something they couldn't. I was literally amazed. You all need more of these types of employees. It would be a different store.

Rude staff, 3 pharmacists and had to wait over 30 minutes only for them to tell me they do not accept blue cross and blue shield insurance. Since when is blue cross not a valid form of insurance?

Literally the worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. If there’s any concern with your prescription, like being out of stock or insurance concern they don’t ever notify you and then, when you call to try and figure out what’s wrong you’re on hold forever and they’re rude and unhelpful. I never leave reviews but this has happened multiple times now.

If you need your prescriptions in a hurry. I would not recommend this place. My prescription was called in at 11 in the morning did not get it till the next day at 2 p.m. they are just swamped with orders. Very busy pharmacy. And over-the-counter stuff. Is much more expensive there.

Every time I go there, the pharmacy is closed during daytime hours. They won’t answer the phones!! They are slow! They changed the pharmacy hours, it’s ridiculous. Transferring my prescriptions elsewhere! Worst pharmacy in the area!

I went in to set up a COVID vaccination, I went to the drop off window, the young lady was on the phone with a client scheduling COVID vaccines. I looked down trying not to overhear the conversation, and there was a sign that the window was closed please use next window. I went there and stood while they were working, one you man told me they would be with me in just a minute, I stated that was fine. A lady came up and asked what I needed and I explained I needed my vaccine or to schedule if that is what was needed. She proceeded to tell me I would have to do that at the drop off window, I then proceeded to explain that the signage directed me to this window. She said in an unpleasant tone that is the window I needed to schedule at. So of course I had to wait because the lady was helping another client by then. When I first got to the window, I moved the window closed sign and explained that it had delayed me doing what they were directing customers to do. So I understand I was aggravated by then, I was using my break time and I said can I schedule a COVID vaccine or actually get one. This is the same girl that was scheduling for COVID when I first walked up, she flippantly said I can give you a phone number to call! Really if that is how you treat customers why should I continue to even use this pharmacy? I just moved here in September the CVS is next door to my office, I thought how convenient, now not so sure.

I must say, their is a oriental lady at Danville, Ky CVS. She needs a raise. Today I was in the store trying to make a collage picture. This lady went the exact mile to help me. She was so nice, very knowledgeable of the computer stuff, pictures and so very nice. I’m sorry I do not know her name! But give this lady a raise. She earn it today. But seeing how she deals with the public, you’ll need to keep her and do not let her go! She was the best!

Pharmacist refused to sell needles without a prescription, stating "we don't know what they're for." They were for hormone injections; however, even if they were for drugs the only thing this accomplishes is forcing addicts to use dirty needles. Clearly the Hippocratic Oath means nothing to the providers at CVS.

Larry (a temporary pharmacist at this location) would not fill a controlled substance prescription for me being that I am visiting Kentucky from out of state. I said I have had it filled in Campbellsville KY on several occasions with no trouble. He said he can not find me in their system. He said he can’t see profiles that are more than 20 miles away though he filled my prescription for a cholesterol medicine at the same visit. My insurance calls for CVS to fill my prescriptions which I have been doing for at least 30 years. If you couldn’t find my profile, how did you fill my non controlled substance prescription, Larry?

Slow, slow, slow to answer the phone, you have to wait in line at the drive through forever and many times when you make it to the window they don’t have your medicine ready. I don’t feel like it’s the employees fault I think it may be from the lack of employees. This is not a recent problem this has been the same way for years. Because of these issues I would not recommend dealing with them.

I needed a specific Covid test to travel out of country for school and CVS is the closest place that had one. The PCR test was said to take 1 to 2 days and based on where I’m traveling I had to have it within a certain amount of time before I left. So I had this all planned out where it would work for me. I arrive at CVS at 9:50 AM on Sunday morning and pull out of the parking lot at 10:06 AM. I got a call later that evening that my test was invalid because I submitted my test before 10 AM. I’ve tried calling minute clinic I’ve tried calling CVS a few times I even told him in person what happened when I went back to retake the test (which now is going to take 2-4days they say). All I got was “I’m sorry we can’t expedite anything”. So now I have to reschedule my flight, probably take a third Covid test, and miss some school because it won’t be back in time and try to schedule quarantine where I’m going because I was 10 minutes early to an appointment. No one told me I had to wait until 10am, they just proceeded as normal. I asked to talk to the provider to see if there was a chance they could make it happen since I was so close and no one can put me in touch with them.

Most of the staff at the pharmacy are hateful, snotty and not knowledgeable. Whether I am there getting my husbands prescriptions or calling them from the providers office that I work for. If it wasn’t for my husband’s insurance making him use CVS I would definitely pull it!!!

Unfortunately, my mother's insurance only covers CVS so she is stuck with them. There is always an issue. The latest problem- prescription called in on a Friday is not ready Monday at 5pm. They tell me to circle the building and come back. I'm finally back to the window, 24 minutes later and after I've paid the copay, now the pharmacist needs to talk to me. 8 min waiting on pharmacist to ask me if this is a new rx. NO, IT IS NOT. It's been prescribed for at least 6 years now. I asked why, if she had questions, th at she didnt call the dr last week and ask? Finally, 1 hour and 7 minute later, I have the rx. Am I surprised? NO. This is standard and expected from CVS.

The pharmacy is going downhill and fast. It’s very disappointing, as it used to be by far the best I’d ever used. The last 3 visits have not been good experiences. Today, I called to get some medications refilled and when I got there FOUR hours later, they were not ready!! The girl didn’t even apologize. I asked her when they’d be ready and she rudely told me ‘well there’s just two of us here, so it won’t be any sooner than an hour’.And when you call into the store it’s at least a 15 minute wait on the phone..Pulled up to the drive through today, 4 cars...Went inside - 4 people standing inside at pick up.So I went back to the drive through because if I’m going to wait I might as well be comfortable in my own car...PLEASE FIX THE DANVILLE KY STORE..... please.....

Used to be a good pharmacy, quick and efficient. Now, for the last few months rather, you are guaranteed to sit in line 30 minutes plus. I’m sitting in line right now and am thoroughly irritated. I’ve been in line 18 minutes and they’ve only helped one person and are currently working on the second after that there’s only one person in front of me but holy Christ I’ll be here 30 minutes more at least and all I have to do is drop off a prescription, I’m not even picking anything up. Every cat has put their car in park and everyone’s on their phones trying to pass the time by.God speed CVS pharmacy customers.

We have ongoing prescriptions and are forced to use CVS by our health insurance. I find that the pharmacy staff are uncaring and impatient and they do not pay attention to details of patient records nor do they follow through with interaction with the doctors office regarding refills. Refills are supposed to be automatic and when they run out CVS is supposed to take care of them directly with doctors but the staff does not check progress and allows things to fall through cracks and creates serious physical and emotional duress for their clients. Avoid them!

This is a great place to find the everyday needs for just about everyone. You get more than just free air, you will always get a free smile to go with whatever you're there for, even if it is just free air. Don't forget about the points you get with every purchase and a coupon on every receipt. Stop in for a box of cereal or some cold medicine, hygiene products and snacks as well. They have a big store full of good people and top of the line products. And don't forget the smile, to go also.

Slow inefficient & unfriendly staff. Always have to make 2 trips of 11/2 hr. per month to get 1 prescription filled. Why can’t system pu? - it’s every month. Per the employees here they can’t order any meds - has to b picked up by system then system adds to their order. For 3 yrs I’ve been going here. Not been picked up yet. Don’t make sense. Can’t order ?? But it’s true because Somerset cvs has not had for 5 months straight- I’ve asked them to order to save an 45 min one way drive. They say they can’t order for next month even if I request it & the other cvs requested it too. If my ins. Carrier didn’t require me use cvs I’d switch to anywhere but cvs but they know we’re locked in & cant switch. Therefore , more rude ,slow & frustration service because humana ins forced use of I’m forced to use cvs and have to drive past 3 cvs pharmacy to get 1 script filled & that adds hrs to trip when they can’t order any specific meds on request. Also closing bathrooms is just an insult to customers loyalty. Bad consistently! Cvs is too big & don’t care about its patients.

Terrible CVS. Takes them over 48 hours to fill a prescription. If you care about your health co somewhere else. This is unacceptable. Medication is important and saves lives, but not when you cannot actually get it when needed. Go elsewhere.

Always extrmely slow and the costomer service is horrible, I have been on hold for over 45min every time I call. It is not worth it to use this pharmacy. They either need to build another one or hire more workers becasue this is unacceptable.

They've now lost multiple prescriptions that I've dropped off. The prescriptions are ADHD meds that are a pain to get in the first place. Always horribly backed up and slow, staff are not friendly! I'm going to switch pharmacies as soon as possible.

1 letter wrong in my last name and I'm treated like I'm a pill head, get real, I even called the dr and let them talk to him, they were even rude to him, I was also told to take my business elsewhere because my doctor isn't from the "local" area... sorry but if your the only pharmacy that's open when I get home then you can do your job and fill the prescription, seeing it was legit and the dr even confirmed it for you, on top of the fact you can see it was only an antibiotic.... the pharmacy tech seemed nice but the pharmacist was no where close to nice even to the doctor whom I had to call to clarify the proper dose and medication was on the paper... fyi I dont know many doctors with 100% legible hand writing...
