I love this local Ace Hardware store! They are always helpful. If you are looking for a hard to find piece of hardware, plumbing or electrical, they are knowledgeable and will help. They also are very knowledgeable with mowers, weed eaters and the like! They will help you to find a suitable substitute if the item or part you need is no longer made. They know what customer service is all about!

Sometimes, when it's more convenient, I run to lowe's, Every time I do that, I end up regretting it. I absolutely love this Ace Hardware. They know how to treat their customers. It's like stepping back in time. After spending thirty minutes in lowe's looking for a fitting with not a single person offering to help, I ran down here, and within a couple minutes, I had my fitting and backed out the door

I will NEVER buy anything else from this store. The customer service is horrific and they are WAY over priced. Go to Lowe’s or Tractor Supply instead. OR, go to the ACE in Harrodsburg, better selection and much better service.

Ace Hardware gets 5 stars from me because they are always on point with their customers and is very knowledgeable on the products in the store. Very professional staff. A cool place to shop on a hot day. Handicap accessable including the parking. It's next to the dollar general. There is a people's bank in the same parking lot. The buisnes is located in the first floor and is in a mall type building.

Love the owner of this store always so helpful along with all employees at store and willing to make sure you get the best deals they have afford at store . Plus I get coupons all the time for 5 or 10 $ of a purchase so yes this ace is really top notch . The owner really puts his heart into it and it shows . I’m a Nicholasville resident who’s baking element decided to go out in a literal blaze of glory the morning of a family get together on July 4. Imagine my exasperation when I repeatedly discovered that none of the nearby home improvement stores had baking elements in stock. Delivery next day wasn’t an option. Ace Hardware in Danville to the rescue! The owner was great and confirmed they had exactly what we needed. A half hour drive later, a 5 minute DIY fix, and the family get together was back in business. Moral of the story - never underestimate the small shop in the smaller town down the road. They may be the first place you should look. And if you’re in Danville, make sure you check this place out for your home improvement etc needs

If they don't have what you need and have to order it watch out. I've had parts back the very next day,but have waited for over a week. Whenever calling asking if the parts had arrived yet,the woman got smart and said it'll get here when it gets here. Don't call us back we'll call you when it comes in. Well waited another few days before calling back and come to find out they never ordered it the 1st time.

Asked the employee if he could help me find an air admittance valve. He kinda laughed and said he had never heard of it and started walking. I assumed he was going to look for it so I followed him and he walked right out the front door and went into the mattress store next door.

Ace Hardware in Danville is independently owned and a local business. They have great prices that challenge Lowe’s, and the people are fantastic. They even have appliances and water heaters, and recommended a great plumber for installation as well. Great store!
