This is quite the place. A true general store in the middle of the country. They have outdoor furniture, food stuffs, books, a deli, hunting and fishing supplies, candy, hats, cooking and canning equipment, etc. The assortment of goods over 3 main buildings is astounding. Overall we had a great experience but we did end up with a bakery item that wasn’t fresh. They replaced it with apologies and no questions asked. We did try some molasses sandwich cookies that had frosting in the middle that were incredible. The bulk grain items were reasonably priced. We also bought matches, some sunglasses, and a small area rug. We would recommend this place! Check it out on your journey.

Wow, what a huge variety of everything! Scrapbooking supplies, material, pictures, home decor, clocks, Amish made furniture, clocks, kitchenware, candles, hardware supplies, greenhouse with live plants, windchimes of all sizes, deli with freshly prepared sandwiches, etc., candies, bulk foods, jams, jellies, canned fruits, refrigerated foods, sweets, cookbooks....etc. etc. A must visit if you are in the area. Be sure to allow a couple hours to slowly stroll through!

I like this store for a lot of reason. First of all the people working this store are very nice. The main reason I travel to this store which is a hour away is because of all the fresh spices. There is to many to to subscribe here. But I will say the chili power is so fresh that it is stronger than I can buy at a store. They have fabric to sandwiches. And the jam is great. I do like their sour cherry. If your around this place you need to stop, you will not be sorry.

Great sandwiches and home made goodies. However, outside “yard items”, over priced!Decorative items, bird feeders, gourds….too marked up…much better prices at fall festivals or online. Also, flowers are cheaper at other Amish locations near Munfordville.

LOTS of variety in each of the stores around the parking area. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We bought several items including a 16 and 30 quart stainless steel bowls (for gardening, harvesting, and canning preparation), to scented candles, a beautiful country red crock, some small toy farm animals, etc.We also enjoyed some delicious (and very generous sized) deli sandwiches that were fixed to order. We would have enjoyed exploring longer but ran out of time so will definitely be back for a longer visit next time.

Quite literally a general store with almost anything you need, from tools to food and furniture. Their deli sandwiches made a great lunch for the family. Furniture was very comfortable and I plan on eventually coming back for a few good pieces.

Wonderful store with a huge variety of different items. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the jar of apple cinnamon jelly we purchased is gone, and we live out of state and won’t be able to get more until we visit again! 😁

Our first time at a Amish store and we enjoyed browsing all the delicious goods they offer. We bought some jam, raspberry yogurt covered pretzels and a few other items. All are of good quality at very reasonable prices. Nice experience.

This is a real general store that happens to be a tourist attraction in the summer. The sandwiches are the best ever and made with excellent ingredients fresh in front of you. An excellent selection of baking supplies as well as spices are on hand. We live in the area and shop for a lot of our regular every day items here!

I love our local stores in Cub Run. You will find a delightful array of items. They always have new items and lots of regular favorites. If you are passing through you must grab a sandwich from the deli. So delicious!

If your are on I-65 traveling between Louisville and Bowling Green a detour to Detweiler's is well worth the time. Stop and browse and enjoy a great sandwich. Lots to look at and explore. Detweiler's is an Amish establishment serving the local community. It is actually a group of distinct operations in several buildings. General Store, Delicatessen, Amish Gift Shop, Fabric and Notions, Sporting Goods (primitive hunting), Household Goods, Farm Goods, and more. Tourist are welcome.I personally have bought lots of canning supplies, kitchenware, bulk spices, hardware, and quality sewing notions. I always leave with a nice deli sandwich for the road. It can easily take over an hour to browse.

Fun place to shop. It is owned and ran by the amish. They have a nice deli and a picknic table outside to eat at. Their sandwiches are really good and less then $4 each. They also have a great selection of puzzles. There is a nursery there too and amish made outside furniture too.

The family and I stumbled across this place while visiting Nolin Lake. What a great store. We went twice! Seemed like they had everything a homesteader could want.

This place is awesome! Very nice Amish store with much more selection and more unique items than the typical salvage goods at many of the other Amish stores in the area,

This store has everything you could possibly want, reminiscent of the general stores in Vermont. You can order sandwiches at their deli for a very good price.

Very nice little find, great prices and friendly people. It can be a little busy on the weekends but not to bad. Not much parking for people hauling trailers
