Great place with some cool treasures. I'm so used to going into an antique store and the prices being absolutely ridiculous but this one was extremely reasonable. Got some nice glass pieces for less than $20. They have a really cool glass fire extinguisher grenade there, some nice furniture. They've got three big German shepherd dogs that welcome you and walk by for a petting as you check out but they are very well trained and stay beside their mom or grandma.Looking forward to going back.

I stopped in on impulse the other day. Enjoyed the store and they had nice things, but the woman working that day was extremely unfriendly and acted like the purchase I made was just an inconvenience to her. I probably will go back as I didn't have much time and I'd like to get a better view of their stock, but it certainly won't be because of the warmth and friendliness of the of the staff.

RUDE! That is the best way to describe my experience at this establishment. The older lady up front with the long hair and tiny glasses was extremely rude, condescending, and nasty. I took her to be the owner. Smells like stale smoke in here. Just an FYI, she charges a 3.7% surcharge for credit cards but does not tell you that until she has already run your card. Then she says she can’t reverse it. I will not be back.

Lady with tiny glasses was very rude and acted like she didn’t care for our business. Also, store had an odd/gross smell that was different than what old time stores smell like.

Bought a school desk there today. Lady that owns it is is hard to get to know but once you do she is sweet. She post store pics on Facebook . That's how we found her .

Good selection spanning many decades, styles, and tastes. We found some uncommon Coke collectibles, linens, craft kits, and misc. Prices are fair. Tony is super nice! Wish we lived closer; Sugar Babes definitely merits a stop whenever you're in the area.

Great store, I've found wonderful things. My favorite is a handmade quilt that I couldn't find anywhere else. The people there are great as well. Addie their German shepherd is a sweet and beautiful dog. She helps protect the owners from break ins.

This was my first time at Sugar Babe. I would absolutely give the layout of the store, the variety of items, and cleanliness of the store 5 stars. The customer service is the reason I'm only giving it 3 stars. I understand that (especially with everything going on in the world) that people have bad days. And maybe she was having a bad day. She was smoking outside and gave me quick smile when I walked in. When she came in, I tried to make short conversation. Didnt really get much feedback. No "Hi there" or "welcome" or "let me know if I can help you". I commented multiple times on the store, how cute it was, what a nice selection. She did reply with a short "thanks" each time. I bought two glass bottles and a bunch of copper tiles. One of the bottles had been marked down. The original price was marked $10 (marked through), then it had $6 (also marked through), the last price was a $2. When she rang me up, I felt like a price was wrong on something. But I'm also terrible at math, so I thought I could be wrong. I paid with a credit card. After I had signed she gave me my receipts and card. I was the only one in the store at the time, but I felt as though it was 5 minutes before close and she was ready to boot me out. I took my bag and went to my car. Sure enough, she charged me $6 instead of $2 on the marked down bottle. At that point though, I had NO desire to back in there to ask for my $4. She didnt seem happy with me spending the $50 that I did in the store, so no way was I going to ask for the few bucks back. I'd like to think I'm a pretty dedicated antique shopper. When I find a place I like, I usually visit at least once every couple of months. Seriously doubt I will return to Sugar Babe Antiques. 😞

Absolutely wonderful place to browse for hours looking for the object you didn't know you couldn't live without.I bought several pieces. I wanted more but I'm trying to stay on budget.Reasonable prices helpful folks.Best of all no moldy smells. Nice and clean.

Lots of antiques and it was very clean an nice. They were very nice there too and a very pretty dog hangs out right in the front. Lots of variety and the prices seemed really reasonable too. Kind of a hidden jem if you are looking for something unique as a gift or perhaps finding something for yourself. I go by all the time and I'm so glad I stopped by. I'll definitely have to go back when I have more time to look at everything. Highly recommend.

I happened to stop in this shop on an impromptu trip to deliver a rescue dog. The owner is amazing. We found so much in common that i didn’t get to go through the shop! Hope to get back there sometime because it is a treasure trove of great antiques.

Stopped in on a weekday, to browse the store. Signs everywhere to inform you that you were being watched on camera. Also to be careful not to break anything. We did not feel comfortable walking through the store. My wife did buy an item but, I would not recommend this store as it was not a friendly place to shop.

I could have been the lady that Josh Vogel talked about in his review, except that I was there two weeks ago! Very sweet dog- came up to me in parking lot. Owner called dog off and was so very hateful to him...and me! Very, very cold.I went into the shop and asked how she was. “I am well” was the cold reply-tone of voice. No eye contact, no “May I help you?”, she acted as if I had intruded onto her personal property without permission!The shop itself was delightful, but that woman has to go. I feel so sorry for her poor shepherd. Not a kind word, no bond. Very heartbreaking.No, I cannot recommend this shop and will not go again. I left without buying anything. Not going to spend my hard earned money at a place where I am treated with disdain.

Cute and roomy shop,different vendors seem to have their own spaces, so you have to wander. Most items seemed to be collectibles, not antiques. Know values and don't assume items are old...we saw many reproductions.Nice break in our day, shop only faintly smells musty.

This place is an off the beaten path gem. It's a must visit shop. The proprietor is a friendly woman dedicated to her business. Lots of good stuff here.

Very unfriendly woman whom we assumed owned the place. Had two dogs there who she warned would bite. Not sure why you would have two such animals at a store where people would come into contact with them? We considered returning the items we purchased because the proprieter was so nasty and unfriendly. We will not be back ever.

This place has the worst customer service I have ever had! The woman working the front desk said over and over how the German shepherd she has is a drug dog.. Ok so what.. She was being mean to the dog and a customer that the dog ran up to and was trying to pet the dog when the lady was very rude for no reason!! Will never go back there again

The lady did not even acknowledge us or speak to us. We wanted to buy a book, but she never took the time to sell it to us. We left the book on the counter and left. She was right there at the counter. Strange!
