You have to stop by! So cute so friendly..they have "bluff dogs" hamburgers pizza cookies homemade ice cream..a little bit of everything including breakfast snacks. Cooked right there fresh. Can also call in orders if in a hurry or just heading to beautiful Columbus State Park .. Great experience. Tables inside if you want to linger a bit.

Great little place to stop for a bite to eat. My son and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality of the ladies that fixed our food. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

***update***Still love this stop! New flavors of ice cream, same great owners 💙Great place to go for funky ice cream flavors and delicious baked goods! You even get to taste test! They also have burgers and pizzas, but I didn't try those (momma only went for the ice cream). Aside from amazing taste, this little stop has a little bit of everything, a great place to go if you forgot something during your camping trip at Columbus-Belmont, and the owners and their workers are so friendly, we spent a bit of time just hanging out and enjoying their company. We have to come back to the area for work next month, and I'm so excited to see if they make new flavors! I even bought five extra to take home to the fam. So good!

You must stop, if you're in Columbus, they are an unassuming general store that packs a punch. They have hand made ice cream, I had dill pickle. You'll ask yourself why you like it so much. It's really good with their fries! We also tried the pizza (really amazing pizza) and I gotta say, the chili pizza was my favorite! There's also baked goods. Rob and Rose are so nice and easy to talk to.

We were camping at the Columbus-Belmont State Park and found the store to get some supper. The owners were so nice and helpful. We talked with them about the area while we waited for our food. The food was delicious and the cinnamon rolls were excellent. They have pizza that is homemade so we will try it when we are back through the area.

I know the owners personally, the customer service here is great and several convenience items available. They have a nice selection of deli items as well as interesting varieties of pizzas and homemade ice cream. Definitely check it out if you happen to be in Columbus, Ky.

We were camping at Columbus-Belmont SP. Saw Beards and Roses’ menu at the camp office and decided to give it a try for lunch. So glad we went! The food is top notch and from scratch. The owners were very friendly and outgoing. Everything about the experience was wonderful! Definitely going to go camping there again just so we can eat Beards and Roses again. PS save room for their homemade ice cream. You won’t regret it!

We made a wrong turn somewhere! However, it turned out to be a good wrong turn. We stopped here to stretch our legs and use the loo and ended up talking to the ladies who work there for quite a while. They let us taste a number of different flavours of ice cream (dill pickle was surprisingly nice). They gave us directions to a bridge to cross the Mississippi as we were heading West. They were so nice and interested and helpful.

Super friendly , excellent food and a great value. We camped at the park the for 4 nights and the Rob and Rose were super awesome. I highly recommend the fried taters , homemade cinnamon rolls and the homemade ice cream. I tried several of the ice cream flavors and settled on the jalapeno pineapple. It was off the hook.Can't wait to go back to Columbus-Belmont State Park to camp again.

My wife and recently camped in the state park just around the corner from Beards and Roses. We had three breakfasts here, ordered one Hawaiian pizza, and had 4 tubs of their famous home made ice cream. It couldn't have been better. Then on top of the great food was the warm friendship and fellowship we gained from Rob and Rose. God Bless the two of you as you sever Christ and the public all at the same time.

We went there yesterday before heading to state park. Great food and prices, and excellent service. The owner and staff are welcoming, and take genuine pride in what they do (don't believe me, ask any of them about their ice cream). My family absolutely enjoyed it, hope to stop by again.

The nicest couple run this place. Ordered a pizza to eat in, and the owners chatted us up while we waited. They are filling a need with a small grocery and restaurant in a small town, literally at the end of the road. It's right outside Columbus Belmont State Park in Columbus KY. Check them out if you're in the area, and sign the register.

My wife and I walked into Beard and Roses only to buy firewood (Columbus Belmont campground was out) and left completely charmed by the owners. We discovered they had a little bit of everything so we left with dinner too! Everything about this store is great, especially the homemade ice cream. Seriously, don't skip out on it even if its just for the friendly conversation!

Absolutely the best! Pizza is handmade with real ground beef and real bacon! Yummy!! The rolls, cinnamon rolls and homemade ice cream are to die for! and their sandwiches are made with love. Rob and Rose are so nice, so sweet and funny too! Visit them, you won’t be sorry!Now I’ve got to brag about the cake Rose made for my husband....beyond belief how good it was! Thanks ever so much Rose!!!

We stopped by on the recommendation of the State Park Ranger on our way out of town, as we needed some groceries for the road. Glad we did. What a nice couple that own it. Just finished the homemade bread pudding that we picked up there. It was delicious (also had great cake and cookies). It was all good home cooking. Really enjoyed the conversation with them. Great place. Owners, Rob and Rose are warm and friendly Christian people. Food is fantastic, the hamburgers are all fresh, hand patted and Rob's "special recipe" chili will warm and fill any belly. Try it out.

I grew up in Columbus, Ky. Rose and her husband have a full functional store with homemade desserts and fast foods. This place is very convenient, as well as they allow customers to use their wifi and are so kind to everyone who comes in. The locals really appreciate the whole experience. Along with everything, one can get a lot of information about what you would like to know. It is a nice and very necessary things.I would rate it then stars if possible!!

Came from Michigan to Columbus for Civil War days. Beards and Rose's kept us feed with their delicious pizza, bluff dogs, hamburgers made to order and cold beverages! Enjoyed the great company of Robb and Rose. Loved all the fresh baked goods like homemade cinnamon rolls and cookies. We will definitely stop back by next time we are in Kentucky!
