Awful Customer Service! The black headed Lady in the Morning along with the main lady are RUDE! And they are always in there complaining about the other shifts! The Red headed Night time girl with tattoos is even ruder! She won’t even speak to a customer and when you ask her for help she huffs. She was sweeping one Night and about knocked me out of the way and just looked at me hateful! If you Ladies don’t like your Job then STAY HOME!! They need to hire a new crew!

My husband went it to get a couple items and he had to pee as well he asked to use the restroom they said the men's was out of order only the women's was open he said that was fine he didn't care the cashier was very rude and said well we do but I guess you can use it. Most disrespect ever we will not be back to this dollar general when you gotta go you gotta go my husband walked back out and we went to family dollar across the street. The owner needs to get a hold of the employees and teach them how to treat people in general this was beyond ridiculous I may call corporate.

Was at the clay city KY store and purchased a bag of dog food and used the number 11 self checkout.i used 2 $20s /40 dollars to pay and the register kept showing I hadn't paid.this was around 3pm 4/29/2024.So now I have to wait until the store closes tonight at 10:30 to see if the self checkout is showing a overage before I can get my $18.85 change back.ill never use sef checkout again and if I don't get my money back I want shop at dollar general ever again..

It's a Dollar Store, they're all about the same. I go in the evening to get what I need and they usually have it. Employees are friendly for the most part, except for 1 or 2, at times. Not much to say.

I have been kicked out TWICE over not having "paperwork" for my service animal after talking to the supervisor (the first time) & he told me it was fine & apologized to me & said as long as she had her vest & leash on? (She had both, both times) he said I never have to provide paperwork for anyone & it was ok to take my service animal in after he talked to the staff so it doesn't happen again. I went today (2 months later) & they told me to leave again. (The same workers as the first time) She is a 7lb yorkie, So definitely don't recommend taking your service animals here! The day shift staff are so rude & miserable & they are so lazy so...go at night if you are going here? & the store is only running because of the night shift making up their mess & being nice to the customers. I live here & Family Dollar (across the street) will be getting my money from here on.

4/5 people working to busy stocking shelves and out front smoking to check us out, and one employee just walked right by me and walked away. Your service sucks and with all the other competitors around and across the street you would think they would be more interested in helping there customers

The shelves were full selection great didn't have to stand at check out long just had employees following me around like I was trying to steal. I thought I could have been stereo types which I think would have been better but noticed an older lady getting treated the same. I wanted to inform these workers that you can take P.I. courses online. Being followed ruins any shopping experience. Sorry I usually really enjoy going in these country stores

The customer service representatives are very rude to the customers plus citizen's of the area are being falsely accused of being a thief but yet the customer service representatives offer no proof to the accusations. To me I believe and understand that to be a violation of the customers civil rights

My trip to dollar general was horrible!The digital coupons which are the stores coupons wouldn't come off.This is the second time this week i tried to shop there and had problems.The staff were great and tried to help but the the register wasn't picking them up.Think i will stay out of dollar general for awhile!

Good enough store if you have to get something.Drug addicts from apartments make it very odd at times, sometimes they're fighting in the lot, or opening the door to try and get tips from you, or screaming at each other to go get a Coke (I'm hoping they mean a soda?)

I walked in with a backpack and nothing was said. My wife walked in after looking at sale items up front. ( note: my wife is cuban) she was told no backpacks. We had our backpacks because we walk when we can to not only to save gas but enjoy the walk through our community. Then while leaving the manager didn't de-securize the body wash. It was racist and embarrassing. We paid for everything which was our full intention to begin with. Needless to say, we will never buy anything from here again.

One of the worst Dollar stores in the county. I avoid going here at all cost due to the cramped aisle and a weird smell that seems to always be lingering inside. So really the only reason you'd visit this particular store is because the Redbox machine out side

Best Dollar General in the country. I live 1.6 miles from it and walk to it when I need to go to the store. My mom will not go to any other store.
