The waitress was about the most courteous and kind person I’ve ever seen. Was incredibly patient with 5 year old trying to order 20 different things. Made her a special Christmas tree pancake without being asked to and even brought extra sausage out for her. The omelets were wonderful and both kids absolutely ate everything on there plates. Would go back very regularly if it were near home. Will go out of my way to return again one day though.

My grilled chicken salad is amazing. The hamburger was fantastic. The fish tasted wonderful. The decor brings back memories from the past. The workers are extremely friendly.

We all had variations of the sunrise burger and equal variations of loaded fries/tots and loved them! The atmosphere is super kitchy and what you would expect from a small town diner. The kitchen is small so I'm not sure how fast the service was for the motorcycle group that came in after us but since we were the only ones in there at the time we ordered our food, service was timely. We were there right before the lunch crowd and right after the breakfast crowd and the servers were rapidly working to clean and cook all the while sharing stories of the restaurant and the area.

Great dinner in Chaplin. They may be the only one, but don't drive past it. Make it the destination! The folks there a very friendly. The menu is straight country home cooking. True country atmosphere.

Food was good. Look I know times are hard for small businesses. But almost $3.00 for maybe a 1/2 cup of home fry’s. To high for two people for breakfast. Ate for way less at similar places.

What a hidden little Gem. Comfort food and great attitudes. We stopped by looking for lunch and got entertainment and friendly banter even though it was our first time. I tried the Philly Cheese Steak with mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese. It was delicious. My Father tried the Catfish sandwich. The onion rings seemed home made and were cooked perfectly. This is worth the stop if you find yourself in rural Kentucky.

What a wonderful place to come across! Stopped here with my Husband & in-laws and was greeted by the nicest waitress and the Owner. They made us feel so welcome, the food choices were great and the food we ordered was even better! Talk about a hidden gem!
