This is my hometown Walmart store. When I travel, I visit many different stores, at sometimes obscure locations. This location has the worst selection of any I have ever seen. The mens clothes are pathetic. No selection and what they do have look like they belong in the women's section. No Reebok clothes stocked at all for men. My wife said this location has about the same for the women as everywhere else, but the rest of the store follows suit for the men's section. You would think the biggest retailer in the area would cater to their customer base. No.I will not even think about going to the pharmacy. I used them a long time ago and gladly paid the upcharge at the locally owned pharmacies.The automotive department is slow and inexperienced. I let them change my oil because they do it cheaper than I can, but I check it when they are done. I wouldn't let them do anything serious. I watch over them on what little they do for me as is.Grumpy customer service associates. No smile or hello when going thru checkout lines, and just try to get propane refilled. Lmao. Unless you are lucky and have Leonard wait on you, but he will soon retire. Then, it will be all crabby customer service associates, and frowns faces.Sam Walton is doing cartwheels right now.P.S.- The Pink Floyd sweatshirt was in the mens department with a pink and white Hello Kitty sweat suit. They don't pay attention or care. Uselessness

To start out we went and got paint from the paint department. It was an older gentleman. Very nice, very helpful paint front turned out perfect good experience. Then we went to check out with a bed frame which was overpriced. The cashier didn't care told us we had to go to customer service. We went to customer service stood in line for 30 minutes. While the lady behind the counter chatted with Her for their friends about who knows what. Eventually, they did refund us and give us the proper price on it. Not very friendly up in front paint guy great the rest of the store, not so great.

At least once per visit a worker gets in my personal space to di a job they could have waited a moment to do. They don't say excuse me either. They lack basic manners, because they don't care.

As always, Walmart has everything and we really enjoy the convenience of a one-stop-shop. This Walmart has a lot shoes, baby items, more soda options than normal stores, and this store even has Kimchi (healthy cabbage). There are a few drawbacks to this store; this store doesn't have sodastream CO2, the buggies Never travel in a straight line, sometimes the store workers put so many boxes on the floor in the aisle that we cannot navigate through the store without playing a puzzle game with our cart.

Automotive center was very rude, bad attitudes on Black Friday when asked a question about price match policy. Bobby needs more training and needs to learn how to be nice to people. Luckily sought further help from some nice employees and managers

My beautiful wife was a spark driver and she did this for a year without incident in Bowling Green, Owensboro, Henderson, and Russellville. We avoided Central City due it's reputation for mistreating spark drivers. Individuals who assist in the spark driver's duties, the loaders, are notorious for starting arguments over next to nothing, reporting aggression when there was none, having accounts deactivated for no real reason whatsoever, but my wife wanted to give it a shot. Now, we see just how true that is. Ifyou're a spark driver, avoid this place. Go elsewhere it's not worth the hassle, these people are on a serious power trip with nothing to back it up. They will attempt to tell you what you can do with your own vehicle. In your own vehicle. Another words these people are on a power trip and think that they're God people who are too weak to say something to you directly they want to go cry to their boss

Bought a large jar of Red Hots pickled sausage and opened it up went to stick a fork in it to remove from the jar and it disintegrated into mush. Was bad for sure. 12.00 gone until I return for a refund.

People were lined back into clothing waiting to checkout. The self checkouts were also full. They have so many checkout lanes so why but utilize them to boost customer service!!??

This Walmart isn't exactly the biggest or best store for the brand, but it will do in a pinch. Selections aren't wide and varied as the larger Walmarts in the area.

It's sad when you can't buy an item in the store in electronics 15 minutes before closing because a $10 case is locked in a glass case and nobody can open it because electronics employees leave earlier.

I have to be honest. I miss the late night trips for hot sauce/flour/eggs, or when if you didn't want to see people you could go super early. In short, She may close a little early, but if you need something the day of a holiday its there. Walmart is the canary in the small town coal mine(not that those are around anymore) and I love our local store.

Checkout lines are terrible most of the time during the day due to only 4 self checkouts and one cashier open (best time to go is the early morning of late evening)

The customer service is good at Central City Walmart, they have a great selection of seasonal & holiday. Garden center is nice, easy to find all your gardening needs. Jewelry is small selection, men's watches and bracelets are great selection!! Food is pricey, I prefer other grocery store. Animal section is okay, Beaver Dam has better selections. Home & decor needs more dressers, small tables & stands. However very nice selection on rugs, bathroom sets & accessories. Several lamps in variety of styles. Home appliances are a great stock.. Auto center has over filled oil, didn't balance tires as was paid for and on receipt, charged to balance tires because it had to be pulled back in the garage.

Had an absolute wonderful time at the place that my husband & I have been visiting for 37/38 years!!! Miss seeing the kids on bikes, though. It looks & feels better under National Forest Group than the one before. Camp Store has all the needs that you forget & nice gifts for friends & relatives. With or without a horse, it is Great.
