Andre is the greatest Dollar General employee I have ever had. I cannot speak more highly of him. The computer went down in the middle of my transaction but did Andre panic? NO! Andre looked like Keanu Reeves in the Matrix and he had it up and going right away. Keep it up Central City Dollar General, you’ll never see me using the South Carrollton location again after this amazing visit!

I've never had a problem with the employees. They are always pleasant. But, if you are very sensitive of others wearing a mask, you might be upset because they don't enforce customers to wear one.

Pretty good selection. I like their water and paper towels plus buy my cleaning stuff and dog toys there all the time. Staff usually polite. Store usually neat. Almost always takes a long time to check out.

Stores is as all DG are in terms of boxes and carts of items needing to be stocked sitting in aisles, however they were out of stock on two items I went in for. Saw two employees upon entering and never saw anyone again. Mediocre visit to be honest.

Worst dollar general ever. Cell phone purchase was made when I opened the box there was no battery pack in the box. Tried to return it with the receipt I was told they could return it because it was ringing up for more than I paid. Tried to return it at another store was told they didn’t activate it when they rung it up. Called the store again the manager hung up on me. Avoid this store in the long run it will save you money. I now out of 40.00

Absolutely ridiculous!!!! This store is ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK on EVERYTHING!!!! It’s always dirty, bare shelves, empty boxes in middle of aisles, and poorly staffed! I HATE this Dollar General!
