Never have the shelf's full any more...needs inventory that's right for the area store....most likely they will not have what you are looking for....can not take things back to store that was bought at other dollar general stores.

Prices vary from other Dollar General stores and they would honor a promotion that was clearly advertised. Cashier had negative things to say about a customer who had just left. Told me he thought it was me who smelled like "weed" until she opened her bag and the smell "almost got him high".

This general dollar general has to be the worst ever. I like DG except this particular one in Cave City ky. It's dirty and unorganized no matter when you're there plus it's always out of inventory. If you go needing 5 items, if you're lucky you might find 3 of your items.

People who work there are great who are helpful and courteous But prices there are too high for economically depressed people. The establishment/owner,s has forced prices on the the poor to paid a bounty on themselves in such of a way that they are a slave to the pricemaster. I sincerely believe after this review there will be be some backlash from the executive board for my comments. I,m for the people who struggle day by day who love and feed their families who deserves a fair choice of purchasing merchandise. My name is Gregg Butler a true patriot for the people.

The "HISEVILLE" Dollar General is by far, the most impressive Dollar General that I have ever been in. The store has fresh produce & also coolers (refrigerated & frozen) along the length of the entire store. It's unlike any other one that I've ever seen. I typically only go to a Dollar General when I only need a couple of items & want to avoid fighting the Walmart crowds at all cost... I don't live close to the Hiseville location; however, when I am in that area, I will always stop in there due to the (little to no crowd) & the AWESOME selection. I don't know how/why that particular store is head & shoulders above all the rest of the same brand of stores, but it simply is (FACTS)!! I just wish that all of the 'DG' stores would step up their game to be as stocked with all of the options that this one has. Bottom line, "Most Impressive DG Store that Exists, Period", (according to 'MY' personal experience).

Less than ten miles from most of North Metcalfe Co. Prices are competitive. Many locals do a majority of their shopping here. Freindly and helpful staff.

Items are not a dollar in there why you cause Dollar General you go in get one bag of goodies whatever is walk out more than $20 people are young that work in the place they have no manners disrespectful places are dirty every Dollar General I went to items are not in place don't have what you need I always tell you welder time order things that we don't have or they need to get or they don't have it in stock 1 time went there to get some flak catchers don't have fly catchers it's just seasonal why not there are items that should be sold oil prices price for oil and there's not a dollar like $5 for a coil they need to do better with their pricing
