Store was clean, stocked, and I was able to find 3 gifts for my son. Loved the self check out option as well, even though only one machine took cash so I had to wait a little bit. 🤷‍♀️

Great Dollar general market! Fresh produce and lots of freezer items! They didn't have any bread or buns but normally do! Friendly staff!

We was on vacation in the area and decided to stop in. We don't have Dollar general markets where we are from (Walton, KY). I never seen meat sold at a Dollar General! My son wanted to stop in to see what a DG market was. It's nice to have fresh produce at a Dollar General. Nothing bad to say at all.

If somewhere in the vast universe, something exist that could possibly be any better than good, ole fashioned, southern hospitality; like something in some weird, solar system in a galaxy far, far away.... then, go there!Seriously. Go. Enjoy it.... You can even write up a review, if you take the notion. I'll probably, maybe, I doubt it - but maybe, I'll read about it. I'll read that review, and offer an edit correction, because you're probably just down the street at the Watermill Restaurant!Honestly, this location wasn't always nearly as awesome as it is now, since Manager, Misty Bailey took over and whipped that store right into shape!There is almost always a line of good people waiting to check out. But... the wait is never long. And if you really think about it; what could be a better sign that you've came to the right place? Top- notch staff makes all the difference in the world. You're more than likely to change your view about your local Dollar General... your high regard will probably become more like indifference, if not full contempt.Geez, lighten up, right? Honestly, being my local dollar gen, I can't say enough about the awesome personnel they lucked up with. It's like a short, impromptu visit with an old friend, or neighbor. I most definitely appreciate them. Good job DG!

My coupon app hasn't been working correctly but the manager April is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I get my discounts and deals.

This place was fun for the kids. Museum was not worth going through. I told the woman cleaning the gift shop that she could come home with me and clean for me. She was so sweet. She said she would come home with me as long as I feed her. All the people working here is do kind. It is well worth going with the whole family.

I'll give credit where credit is due. I haven't been in this DG or any other since the pandemic started because ilses were always to close together & it was crowded. I ran in today for cat stuff & the isles are spaced out better, place is clean, and they even have self checkout now. Staff is nice, Great job!!!

It sometimes has what you need and sometimes it doesn't. If you find it there's no price for it. If you do find it in the clearance area, still no prices or it's more than it states on the shelf. I usually go somewhere else cheaper or more organized. Here's the bad part. There's no A/C to go with long lines! This place needs organized and restocked and the A/C fixed. Sometimes there's one cashier and no one to help her. Poor thing. The short lady needs a raise dealing with what she deals with in that store. Anyway as far as everything else it's ok, nothing like the one in Glasgow on Happy Valley. Best to take that drive to get what you want.

Do not get cash back here! Cashier stole 20$ from me and refused to give me a receipt, store manager said they couldn't give me my money back because they claimed it wasn't the stores fault, as for the actual operations of the store it was a shoddy dollar general before and still shoddy now even though they got twice the employees they are still out of half of your shopping list other than that it's just a dollar general with more food items now.

I'm going to stop shopping at my local Dollar Store. I will go 10 miles into the next town to get all my stuff. Reason.. My local Dollar Store has gone so so downhill. There is never enough cashiers,the store stays dirty,they won't let you use the public bathroom,saying it's tore up..for 6+ months? I went today to get things and could barely get around. There was so much stuff laying in the isles,you couldn't get around and the stockers were just laughing and playing around with each other not bothering to move anything. I'm so done with this store.

This one is generally busy and they never seem to have enough employees to handle it. They actually had 2 cashiers open on this day and I was pleasantly surprised. Otherwise the place is just any all out mess which I understand most DG's are. Again, more employees could remedy this IMHO.

Clean and fast in and out, however not very well stocked..half the freezer and refrigerator sections empty. Also, the other DG Markets I've been to have alot more selection.

My girlfriend and I needed a fan for the hotel we were staying in, so we went here. I dont really have any complaints other than all the pens were busted, and inc was everywhere. The employees were very friendly though. 8/10 might buy a fan again.

Very cluttered. Some aisles I couldn't get down without moving items that had been thrown or dropped on the floor. The cashier was not friendly or knowledgeable. He didn't know what reusable bags are. The lines are always long because there's rarely more than 1 register opened.

By far the nicest Dollar General staff I have ever seen! They were friendly and helpful which is fantastic when you are just visiting town! Beats all the Dollar Generals around our town in PA. Thanks for being helpful!

Limited items, such as very limited milk selection and they didn't have the soda I drink (coke zero). Prices where higher than expected. However I am aware that COVID probably plays a role in this and the staff where super helpful and friendly.

Went to Walmart in Glasgow to pick up an item, which they did not have in stock. I stopped at the new Dollar General. In Glasgow to see if they have the item. And they had so many boxes piled up down the aisles. I could not get to it when I ask for. Assistance I was told. We can get to that without moving everything down the aisle. Traveling Through Cave City I stopped. And as I went in the door I asked if they could tell me if they had the item. I was looking for the lady took me immediately to it. Got my item. Very friendly people I should have stopped there in the beginning.

Conveniently located, but very understaffed and often a super long wait. Other than that, its great if you forgot something (Sunscreen, Pool stuff, snacks, spare clothes, etc.) On a trip and don't/can't go back home to grab them.

This dollar general store in Cave City was dirty and nasty! It was 830 am. I don’t know if they the staff from night before didn’t do their job or if it like that all the time. Just was in area and stopped by. Did not buy anything, was to afraid to.

This place always has a line out the door.. they have no clue how to restock shelves or their inventory... cashiers are smart (mouthed) .I cant stand going here but theres nowhere else to go.. well walmart down the road where the rest of the towns go.. it would probably take the same amount of time to run up to walmart, fight through more people and drive back home, put my stuff away, cook dinner, take a shower, and get in bed as it would to get through the line at dollar store any day of the week.

This store is the dirtiest and most disorganized Dollar Store I have ever been in. Isles are always cluttered with merchandise laying scattered about on the floor. Shelves are also in the same messy condition. I live nearby and have watched this store gradually grow worse and worse. Especially since the latest manager change. I think it is a disgrace to the city to have this store in such an unattractive condition.

Customer service is horrible. Asked the cashier for a price check. Decided I didn't want it but after 10 min. the manager wouldn't come take it off so I had to buy it. Will be the last time.

He manager WENT WAY ABOUT HIS PAY LEVEL. I had two good friends that locked themseives out of their truck my buddy an his mom. He tried hard for close to 30 minutes. I called AAA forgot ihad it. He told me if they were still there at 10pm. He would meet his cohort withthe tools toget in his truck. NOW THAT MAN you should give him some kind of a REWARD. Because he went above an beyound.

This place was an unorganized mess. There were piles of clothing everywhere. The shelves were very messy as well. The parking lot was filled with cigarette butts. Very unclean.
