My wife and I stayed at the Sleep Inn and went to the Cave City Creamery for desert one night. The ice cream was exceptionally good. I had the buttered pecan and cashew and the summertime peach. Previous reviewer was obviously having a bad day. The little shop is a mom and daughter operation. I met them both and they were as courteous as could be to us. Sometimes you have to be polite and kind to get the best service. Not saying you were not buy give these guys a break. Service, price, and ice cream were all very good. PW

It’s a cool shop in a quaint town. A real recipe for success. The ice cream was delicious. The coffee not so much. Unfortunately we stopped for the coffee. I finished mine but I did not like it.The shop itself was nicely decorated and clean. The employees were super friendly. Everything was good except the coffee that was very sweet and tasted bad.

Went in 10 minutes before they closed on a Friday evening at 8pm to grab a quick cone. Around 2 minutes after we sat down the employee who served us told us they were closing the inside in 3 minutes and we "were welcome to sit outside" in the 40 degree evening wind. Imagine if all restaurants operated like that -_-The ice cream itself was somewhat disappointing, the cookie dough extreme was a little hard for fresh ice cream and did not include very many chunks of cookie dough. For the price, you'd be better off just going to a supermarket and getting a pint of Ben and Jerry's for what they charge.The strawberry cheesecake also wasn't anything special. I guess this is the top selection for the area, but the fact that this place has 4.9 stars is comical honestly.

The place appears nice and the employees were friendly. I wasn't too impressed with the Chai Tea Latte during my visit and wished I would have tried something different. The ice cream looked good though.

Very good espresso, kids loved the peach icecream. Cold brew was a bit weak but it was very tasty as well.

Great stop for coffee! Looks like they had great ice cream flavors too. Plenty of indoor seating and outdoor options as well. Good coffee selection. Service was quick., And friendly with helpful recommendations. A definite must visit for the area.

A necessary stop if you're in town! We were staying at Mammoth Cave Campground and needed a morning coffee. Staff are friendly, atmosphere is nice, and coffee + food are great. Excited to try their ice cream next time around.

Absolutely delicious coffee, and on National Coffee Day too! We mainly came for the coffee, but the ice cream was good too! I had a bourbon caramel cold brew and it was heavenly. The affogato was also delectable. And the prices were so refreshingly reasonable!

We stopped in for some ice cream while staying at the nearby RV park. Both of the ladies working, mother and daughter were both very friendly and inviting! While serving us our order we got to talking about travel and RVing. Really enjoyed our little visit there so y’all be sure to go patronize the sweetest little ice cream shop in Cave city! Tell them Abom Adventures sent ya!

We each had a cup of ice cream (many delicious flavors available). The decision was difficult, but I ended up with Sea Salt Caramel Toffee. My husband choose Blueberry Cheesecake. We were both very delighted. The Velvet ice creams are the best. We will definitely come back any time we are nearby. Very clean inside & outside. The place is decorated so cute also. Excellent customer service too!

Clean Fun Place to stop while in the area.They offer samples.The kids enjoyed it.The surrounding area is a RV friendly.Has outdoor dining and a drivethru.Had some Harvest Host flyers.A bicycle pump was inside just in case you cycled there from the trails.Clean rest rooms

Love, love, loved this amazing ice cream shoppe! The best part was the freshly made waffle cones! They were absolutely amazing! The prices were great and the people were as sweet as their ice cream! I highly recommend this if you're in the area!

This place is a must-stop if you’re in town as a tourist! Quality ice cream, locally owned, and charming. They have chalk for kids to use on the patio area out front and a giant map to pin where you came from on the wall inside. Tip the girls that work there! They work hard!

Went into town looking for dinner and found this nice little place instead! I had a banana split and was really happy with it. The ice cream has good flavor and the treat was well-made. They make their banana splits with chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream, so you get a little sample of a few different flavors. I've had many banana splits which pair the ice creams and toppings in odd ways - I'm not a big fan of the pineapple/chocolate combination - so I was glad to see this shop (or, at least, this employee) pair chocolate with chocolate topping, strawberry with strawberry topping, and vanilla with pineapple topping.It also seemed like the banana split was quite large - in the regular boat, but taller than I normally see. I thought the price was reasonable, especially considering how much I got.

Good ice cream and a cute shop. After reading several reviews I decided on the salted carmel in the waffle cone. It was soo good but very rich. Highly recommend the waffle cone. The rest of my crew had vanilla, dutch chocolate and butter pecan &cashew. The servings were very generous and staff was nice.
