Very clean rooms with really good friendly worker!. I would most certainly be staying here again!. I was lil unsure at first whether it would be a good safe place to be because it's off to it's self. But I gotta say though I'm very pleased.Rooms: Really clean and no bugs! Beds are comfortableSafety: The area feels safe and the workers makes sure you can always come to them if you need anything

The rooms were nice and comfortable, my problem is the customer service. My wife and I rented a room for 6 days because we just lost everything , including pets, due to a trailer fire. On the 5th day, I went to rent the room for another couple more days but I was informed that it had been rented to another person. The clerk that evening was also very rude and dismissive toward us. We weren't even given the chance to stay longer because this place had rented our room out from under us a full 24 hrs before we had to checkout. On the 6th day at checkout I was greeted with not only another rude and snippy employee, but the manager was dismissive as well. I just tried to inform them that it was rude to rent a room out from under someone without even giving them the opportunity to stay longer. We were made to feel like we weren't good enough to stay there any longer because we are poor and beneath them.

My family had an amazing weekend at the Red River Gorge Inn !! Staff was very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome.We are planning another trip to RRG in a couple months and plan to bring more family and book again !!Rooms: Room was clean !

It was a super terrible time! We booked the place for a couple of days, and honestly, we couldn't catch a decent nap at all. There was this annoying constant noise coming from the vents, the curtains didn't even cover the whole window, so outside light kept us up , the beds were very uncomfortable ,and the walls were so thin, we could practically hear everything around us. Ended up with a killer headache and backache thanks to the whole ordeal. Major letdown. Plus, the room had this weird mildewy smell. Very disappointing.

My friends and I went on a hiking trail at red river and realized we wanted to come back in the morning rather than just leaving after our trail. we called to book a room and I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to book a room in less than 5 minutes! The lady on the phone seemed so nice and inviting! Once we got here check in was painless and we even got to bring our dog! (25 dollar pet charge, but a small price to pay for comfort for our baby.) The rooms are non-smoking (you can slightly tell that the rooms use to be smoking but they aren’t anymore!) Clean beds, floors and the cleanest shower curtain I’ve ever seen in a hotel! 10/10 We WILL be staying here again!!! The ladies who work here are a plus as they are very kind and welcoming!!

The room was clean and comfortable. This is a pretty basic hotel and it fit our needs for visiting the area to hike. Water pressure was good for showers. I thought the breakfast options were as good as or better than some. But still pretty basic and the staff was attentive to the area. The hotel is convenient to the local attractions and right off of the parkway. Close to both Red River Gorge and to Natural Bridges SP. There are food options within 15 to 20 minutes of the hotel. I would stay again if visiting the area.

I left my new JBL Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom. 5 calls to them. No callbacks. Very little help. 3 calls to the first clerk, who was definitely elusive and refused to check "Lost & Found" and call back. I received no help whatsoever but was told housekeepers would be questioned. They never returned a single call in the week I tried to get help. I've made 5 calls total. Definitely thievery. I'd be careful.With regards to the owner's response...no one from the inn ever made a callback although I left my number on 4 different calls with 3 people. I was promised call backs to let me know "lost & found" had been searched. That all housekeepers had been asked. And the manager to return my call after looking in the office. Not a single callback. I feel this wasn't taken seriously or mattered. I'm out nearly $100 on a new speaker that was definitely left there.

The room is as basic as you can get. Bed was very uncomfortable. No spot to sit besides the chair at desk. Plugs not easily accessible to charge multiple items. Floor was dirty, our feet were black after walking around a few minutes. Breakfast options subpar (cereal, bread or banana) The inn is just off the highway. It is not a place to stay for an anniversary. The desk person was very nice upon arrival, at check out we were told manager was not there & someone would reach out. (that didn't happen) Very displeased with this inn, would not go back or recommend.

We needed a place to stay in the area for an event that would end late. The room smelled mildewy but was clean overall and served its purpose. Service on-site was great but I have been trying to resolve a $250 fee for “smoking damages” for over 2 weeks. The manager said ashes and burn marks were found on the night stand. We are non-smokers, and did not smoke in this room. I was told she would email me pictures of the damage and her supervisor contact info. I have not received either of these and have had no response to any further emails or messages sent. It is an extremely upsetting situation that I have never encountered at any hotel or Airbnb before.Edited after owner response: WE ARE NON-SMOKERS.. WE DID NOT SMOKE IN THE ROOM. WHY HAVE I NOT RECEIVED THE PICTURES OF ALLEGED DAMAGE OR OWNER CONTACT INFORMATION TO RESOLVE THIS????

We booked this room for our anniversary trip to go kayaking. We had reserved a King room for one night.Upon checking in we were told that the rooms had been overbooked and we had been downgraded to 2 double beds. The lady who checked us in was very nice, but was on her personal phone throughout the interaction and offered no other amenities to correct the mistake made on their end.We went to our room and upon closing the door, the lock-chain completely fell off the door hinge. The toilet didn’t flush properly (which as a pregnant lady was very inconvenient.) Also, there was no phone in the room to even conveniently contact the office to address these issues. The room was clean.All of these issues combined with the fact that the room was nearly $150 (even after being downgraded) was not satisfactory in my opinion.

The room seemed clean until I pulled back the top cover and saw hair of different varieties, specks of blood and other debris on the sheets. The toilet was also difficult to flush. The woman at the front desk was kind and told me that was unacceptable. She gave me a different room. When I went into that room, the smoke detector was chirping. I went back down to the front desk and she told me that she would give me a third room because the last time she changed the smoke detector batteries, she got shocked. I arrived in the third room and the room seemed clean except for the fuzzy caterpillar on the floor and the fact that the trash had not been emptied. I did call her about the fact that some of the lights didn’t work and she offered to come up to help me, but I told her that I got enough of them to work that it was fine. I will talk with the manager in the morning for a discount as she said she doesn’t have the authority to do this, but I would definitely not recommend this establishment.

Very quaint hometown Inn. It was clean, the room was ready at check-in, and the price was reasonable. I booked the room for out of town construction of my roof, and the amish crew was very pleased with the room they only wished they could get food delivered to Inn. They did provide continental breakfast from 7-10 am.Nearby activities: Red River Gorge Ziplining, the Natural Bridge, rock climbing, nature walk, putt putt

This was av surprise, every time you don't expect nothing from a hotel "because it is cheap and offers nothing" you get more! Room was super clean and super tidy. Beds were comfy, pillows good. Wifi was weaker, but still good. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but more than we expected. So for a simple stop or for one night this hotel is really good!

Very close to some great trails. The room was comfortable. We rented the jacuzzi suite, which was so relaxing after a long day of hiking.I also wanted to add on here that, back in August, we had reservations, and suffered a very traumatic event the day we were to check in. My husband called and explained and the staff was so sweet about it. We never expected a refund or anything but they took care of us when we needed it most. Thank you kindly, from the bottom of our hearts. We hope to be back this year if life permits it. I'd give you all 20 ⭐ if the app permitted it.

The staff was excellent! The location was perfect! The room was your standard motel room but updated. Unfortunately, the outdoor smoking areas (b/c the rooms are suppose to be nonsmoking) permeated into our room and caused breathing problems for 2 of us in the family. We turned off the ac/heater to prevent the inflow of air but it didn’t seem to help. The smell was STRONG and we carried it home on our clothes and luggage. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, this is not the place to stay.

The Red River Inn was a charming place right next to the highway but secluded in its own area. The staff was extremely responsive and gracious when it came to addressing my needs. Two or three times I asked for extra amenities and a general question, I was given the utmost respect and service. The rooms were well maintained and provided all the necessary equipment I desired, such as a Roku TV, fridge, microwave, and study table. I also felt very safe in the environment outside the hotel. My roommate and I could stand outside near the seating area in the parking lot at night and enjoy some fresh air while looking at the moon. I slept well on both nights, and the checkout process was simple which involved turning in the key. Lastly, the breakfast met my needs as there were options I could take with me and some that I could sit down and enjoy. Overall, this was one the best lodging places I've stayed at, and I would recommend it, especially for those taking advantage of the experiences near the area.

When we checked in we were sent a room meant for someone else. Shortly after that, someone tried to enter the room. Went to the front desk and she tried to check us in to someone else's reservation again! Then told us she couldn't find our reservation. Finally a manager came and found us in the system, but it was a very frustrating situation.

A group of students and I stayed at the Red River Inn for two nights. Their location is super easy to find as it is right off the main road and displays a large sign. Everyone working there was friendly when welcoming us into their establishment. The rooms were large with a decent-sized bathroom area; both were spotless. If there is a rainy day at the gorge, the inn offers TVs with Hulu in every room. They also have comfy beds with four large pillows and a complimentary breakfast.
