The employees here could not be more helpful!! I had to drive over twice in a day from the Gorge because I got the wrong pipe and they couldn’t have been nicer, ensuring I got the right thing and even giving me suggestions for how to fix my AC drain pipe problem.

I am a highly respected citizen in this town and have only reviewed maybe a handful of times but this place needs help. The owner is very rude and that has rolled off on to the employees, they have the same learned behavior and attitude. They charge just to drop off an already prepared UPS package, and gouge you with prices on everything else. Tried exchanging 3 items I picked up 3 days before, same cashier mind you, with their tags still attached, totally unused and undamaged but wouldn't accept them because I didn't have a receipt even though I had been in there every day for two weeks and had spent at least $500 during that time period. When I questioned their motives, calmly, they walked off as if I wasn't there. This wasn't the first occasion I had experienced their ill manored greedy attitudes. I could go on about several other bad aneurysms they have but I think I've made my point.

Typical Ace. Checkout counter gal was nice. Store is cramped. Found what I needed. Ace prices are always higher than big box but we were not wanting to go that far. You pay for convenience.

The two girls at the front are rude. One is a blonde and the other is like a dyed dark hair color. I just walked in and asked if they sold something and she specifically stopped smiling to talk to me. Like I was bothering their conversation.

Closest Hardware Store to where I was working at. Call ahead of time and they had just what I needed lumber wise. I got in and out pretty quickly and the guys helped load my truck up. I know where I'm going when I need stuff for a job!

Better than the one we shopped at at Stanton, Ky. Bought a power washer. Did not use it 1 or maybe two times. Been there over a month. Refuge to return money or fix it. 2 other people with same problem.

The lady who runs this store is very rude and will follow you around the store assu ming you are stealing things instead of asking if she can help you find something. I spent about $300 dollars a week for the last 4 months and repeatedly was treated like I was stealing from them "because she didn't know who I was". The last straw for me was when I bought a belt sander from them and tried to return it unused and with a receipt. I was denied my money back. When I asked why the lady( Vicky) said it was "her store and she made up the rules and I didn't want to return the item". I recommend the true value 1/4 mile down the road or you can take your chances like I did for so long because I was unaware that the true value was down the street.

Was coming though Campton and was planning to stop at Lowes in Hazard to grab a couple of things, but I needed a restroom break so I just decided to just run in there really quick and grab what I needed and go to restroom. Walked around the store, didn't see a restroom, asked an employee if they had a restroom, he just said no and walked away. I grabbed my goods and went to checkout. When you spend money, you need to get a thank you from the cashier. No, not here. Didn't get a "did you find everything", I don't even think she looked up, and I certainly didn't get a "thanks". Always get those at Lowes. Ace most certainly isn't the place with the helpful hardware folks. No wonder I was the only one there at noon on a Saturday.

This store does not honor prices that are listed on the rack for a product. The price difference was over 25% increase of what was posted I would encourage the store to reconsider their policies. How does one know what they are spending when their prices are not accurate.

They charge for UPS drop off. Postage already paid and boxes all packaged up but they still charge just to drop off?? I've never experienced this at other UPS drop off locations. But I guess since they are the only drop off around they can take advantage of the situation.

This has to be the worse Ace I have ever been to. You are doing them a favor when you walk in. Unfriendly service at the point of being rude. I just drive to Stanton anymore. Also poorly stocked

Usually has what's needed for most small projects. Staff is friendly and offers help but some of them wouldn't know a ballpeen from a tack hammer or a coping saw from miter box. Prices are a bit steep compared to larger chain stores.
