Personal visit for, of all things, brake fluid. I was looking to prevent a trip with further travelothrr than local stores. I had checked the $ store in New Castle, in Eminence, and the corner store in Campbellsburg to no avail. All 3 had no brake fluid in stock and the shelves were void of any . It ewas suggested I try the Grocery in Campbellsburg for a selection. Actually I had thought of that, without much optimism. So if not mentioned, most likelyy hopes to find some would have continued to the "big box stores" Walmart, Target, auto parts such as O'REILLY'S. After an encouraging, almost as high school in my experienced from my basketball coach direction, I did my best John "The Duke" Wayne cowboy mosey over to the grocery store. Pay dirt! 2 twelve ounce at a price of 3.o9 we're purchased to alleviate my dilemma. I was driving my pick em up truck in short order, hearing the soothing growl of it's 6.4 391 inch Ford "390" (not a "Thunderbird Special" sadly) the long, soulful whistle of Turbocharged raw skip - skip - skip ta ma Lou my darlin' beautiful soprano pitched along the countryside of my new inherited Henry County home base of NEW CASTLE, KY. YEEEEHAWWWW! 7/16/22 Update: Still pleasant, bought steak and hamburger at a good price. 2 thin Ribeyes, 2 NY Strip steaks, and a pound 27/73 for a total of $17.89. All right!

Fresh meat at low prices! Deals all over the store! No stress just easy happy shopping! I was very impressed with the cashier and how polite and friendly. The meat cutter got my cold cuts while I was shopping. I found 3 frozen items that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. I will now and forever be a loyal customer! They sure do their community right!

Quick and convenient for locals. I love the meat department and they have the best fresh cut bacon! The employees are very nice and attentive to your needs. I go in there all the time to get a quick dinner or some good ribeyes to grill up!

Very clean. The staff is always helpful and polite. Management will even be on the floor helping whether it be stocking shelves or running a register when they are busy. (Not like most stores where managers just stand there with a blank stare while they are in your way. lol!) The meat department is the best! The best quality meat. Fresh unlike big chain stores. I highly recommend this store over any big chain store!

One of the few Mom and Pop type of grocery stores around. This used to be an IGA and has managed to survive the push from the big box type of stores fifteen minutes in either direction and a Dollar General down the street. The staff is very friendly and the store is clean. Meat prices and deli is great although choices are a little bit limited. They do have all the basics, however. Meat prices are cheaper than Kroger and you can buy entire slabs of New York Strip and Ribeye if you wish and the butcher will slice it for free! Prices on other items is a little high, but to me it's worth it to support a hometown grocer that's been here a long time.
