WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!!!I can not warn you enough! My warranty company had me use them. They came out to my home on June 7, 2023 to diagnose my heat pump. I showed their 2 techs where my unit was and stood there with them for a few moments to listen to them complain about what a pain it was going to be because of its location!! Why would someone put it so close to here? Referring to my fence!! I responded, I only lived there under 2 years and maybe the fence was installed after EVEN THOUGH I did not think it was a concern. The panel was on the fence side but “I” thought there was room. At any rate, they were working on it a bit, did something’s and then came in and said my circuit was blown…. Went to breaker and what ever they did caused my breaker to pop. Of course not knowing anything I just listened to their diagnosis of my compressor needing to be replaced and that was it. Then I was called by my insurance company telling me they were gonna have to do additional electrical work due to something I did not understand????? They were saying that to complete the work, I would have to pay an additional $550 that would not be covered by my warranty company. I had to agree to this to get compressor installed. Parts were ordered and received at warehouse in Paducah but never picked up by Williams. I called on the 27th of June questioning WHEN we’re we gonna get my AC fixed??? Rude as could be the girl told ME not to yell at her, which I was not, I was just trying to find out after 20 days, WHEN they were gonna get my job done!!! It had been 96 degrees for a couple weeks straight!!!! She hung up on me!! I tried to call back, no answer, VM and “I” even apologized on VM if she thought I was yelling as I was just concerned cause it was hot and had been 3 weeks. Thank God for a friend that provided a window AC UNIT which has helped out. Well my Warranty Company continued to try to call them, and leave messages and email them yet they never responded so I was living with no AC…. 🤬 Of course my warranty co is no better cause I was asking to switch contractors… well here is the even better part… FINALLY just a couple days ago, Aug 15th after 10 weeks with NO AIR due to Williams Heating & Air not picking up the ordered compressor or responding to the Warranty Company’s escalation department I got a new contractor. So…. I find out just what I knew… how dirty they really were…. Williams was telling my Warranty Company they had to charge me an additional $550 to do the work due to some electrical work that had to be completed.,,,,, WELL , as it turns out, it was fixing what they messed up. My new contractor had to do electrical rewiring because it had been messed with but he didn’t charge me anything.,,,, Also when my new contractor came, and I took him out to Heat pump, he asked if I knew they left a piece sitting out on top of my electrical box? I said No, and then he noticed they left the side panel open and all my wires inside my heat pump “unit” had been exposed to the rain, weather, elements for 10 weeks!!! Unbelieveable…use Williams Heating & Air at your own risk..,,I also had a service call with them in March for my Heat not heating my home…. I was not home when the guy showed up and he told my son it was something in how the thermostat was hooked up and should have been on an emergency wiring or setting? Wondering if what ever was done in March caused my issue since less than a year before a reputable company told me my unit was in great shape and it is still really new!!! Just saying… at this point, just don’t trust this company…

American Home Shield is the greatest I put in request on 3/25 for my free AC cleaning. Call backs are supposed to be within 24hrs. However, after 48hrs I had to notify AHS that Williams Heating & Plubling had not called to set up appt. Long story short 11 days later Josh who disposition was one unbefitting for public service spoke abrasive and condescending. I wasn't a disservice to you but you were to me. With the etiquette he was lacking, working on my unit was not an option, or in my best interest! Off to the Next contractor! To put it mildly Josh was a Jerk! Whoever hired him should send him to etiquette training on how to treat customers and proper language!

As of today, Feb. 13, we have cancelled with Williams Plumbing. We called them Jan. 25 about a stopped up line from our toilet to the septic tank. They came several days later, Feb. 8. They could not clear the line & decided we needed a new line. We said to schedule this ASAP as we have only 1 bathroom in our house. Today, we were told it would be probably Friday, Feb. 16 before they could get to us. I'm sorry, but this is just unacceptable. Their website says that they have "24 Hr. emergency service". We have been waiting now without a working toilet for nearly 3 weeks! I just couldn't deal with them any longer and cancelled. Hopefully, we will find someone who will have mercy on us! Very disappointed with Williams Plumbing.After seeing Mr. Williams' response to my review, I had to reply. Yes, we did call Stinson first because we couldn't get hold of anyone else. We then wanted a 2nd opinion & called Williams. So, evidently, this put us on the bad list with Mr. Williams. Also, he implied in his response that I spoke to him so badly that he cancelled. First of all, I called him & told him we would be getting someone else & second of all, I never would use bad language speaking to anyone. Maybe was a little loud when finding out it would be another week without plumbing! And please give me the names of the plumbers you spoke with who you say wouldn't work for us. Oh yes, we have someone coming tomorrow morning.

Josh and Robert did a great job installing a 2nd hvac system for the 2nd story of our 1930s home. Tonight is the first night, in 2 years since buying the house, that we're able to sleep upstairs without the aid of a fan or space heater. They were kind and professional throughout the whole process. I'd recommend them to anyone!

After the December 10 tornado I rebuilt. I used Williams for my heating and air. They did wonderful. Josh talked me into talking to hatch about my plumbing. I ended up with so many leaks. I’ve fixed three. And have been trying for 6 weeks to get them to fix two more issues. The shower drain leaks. And the vent pipe was outside the wall more then an inch and a half. I have been promised so many times that they would come and make it right and every time a no show. I am going to hire a good plumber to fix these issues and deduct their charges from the remainder of what I owe.Services: Installation, Sewer repair

Home shield warranty set up a service ticket here...spoke to the owner that I needed a new gas fireplace thermostat and receiver box..he said he would order one...it's been since November 30th...I even sent the info where to order from...no contact or status this week ..so I canceled the order and ordered the part myself...🙄...update..owner was in touch with me...wanted to make it right. Changed my rating...what's right is right

Josh is fantastic!!! Knows his business and is there on the same day, if possible, and if not, then he's there the next day! He can fix anything and goes the extra mile all the time. He saves you money wherever possible. He is the absolute best! If anything goes wrong again, he guarantees his work and is there right away at no charge! He is friendly & very capable. Getting my units replaced was a great experience with Williams Heat and Air. The estimate was quick and fair. They were in and out in a single day to replace two complete heating and AC units! I actually had some plumbing issues the day of the estimate and they had a plumber out in an hour to help me out. The plumbing side was just as great as the HVAC! All around great business to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC or plumbing work.

In the repair business, not all jobs are created equal. Sometimes it's a quick fix, but sometimes a simple problem becomes an ordeal. The Williams' guys thought they'd be able to clean out the fins and replace the capacitor, but while they were working the fan and compressor both proved faulty. While they could have given up and charged me for a whole new unit, they worked diligently to get it running again without charging an arm and a leg. They're independently owned and personally invested in their business. The owner was personally involved and the employees are professional and sociable. I cannot say enough great things about my experience top to bottom with Williams! I live in a traditional log cabin and it is not the easiest to do install work on, but they more than met the challenge. Chase was great through the initial consult and working with me to get the best solution for my home and making sure I understood the options thoroughly. The installation crew, Cole and Michael, were so courteous and professional. My home warranty services had these guys come out on 9/22/2022 and fix a leak I was experiencing from my ac/duct causing condensation and it leaked through my ceiling causing it to fall in and I had to pay additional costs for the repair of my ceiling. The technician says he “fixed” it however here I am again having the same issue. The new AC servicer that my home warranty insurance sent out today 7/10/2023 stated there was no insulation and the technician didn’t put any in when he performed my service on 9/22/2022. Had the problem been fixed correctly the first time I would not be out of additional money to have the same issues fixed. I do not recommend!!!!!

Josh was very responsive to our call. A/C went out and the electricity had spiked from the power company and blown all of the electronics on the low-voltage side. They were able to diagnose and repair the problem efficiently, (next day) and get us back in the cool. They were very friendly and easy to work with. The A/C in our house just gave out one day at the end of June which was some of our hottest days yet in the Paducah area. For me and my wife that’s kinda a big deal since we have a bunch of reptiles and other animals. The folks at william were great we had called a lot of the other heat and air places around and they mainly gave us over the phone quotes. Not that big of a deal except our unit was a bit to small for our house now since the previous owner had converted the garage to a room. Which meant we needed a bit bigger of a unit so it wasn’t having to work as hard to cool the house. They came out very quickly and gave a quote for what we needed instead of what we had. As soon as the parts were in the guys were out getting everything out and all the new installed. Michael, Josh, and Cole we’re all super friendly, very professional and had no problem explaining things to us about what was going on and why. They got everything done in a very timely manner and we’re just some all around good folks. Williams Heating & Air worked on my heating unit over a period of 3 weeks back in the first of May and the kid said he fixed the heating unit by installing a condensor. We were out of town when he actually got around to stopping by and installing it. He said he had trouble keeping his paperwork straight and forgot us as to why he kept forgetting to come by. That was end of May and we didn't need the heat. Tried to turn it on yesterday and it doesn't work. Same issue. Called to ask if they "stood by their work" and I guess that Chase guy didn't want to hear about. He refused to do anything and said it was the home warranty company problem, NOT THEIRS! He got a little irritated when I asked about them guaranteeing their work. Would not recommend using this company to anyone in the surrounding area. The techs have little knowledge and don't check what system you have before making any kind of changes. They just assume what you have and then argue with you that they are right and you are wrong. If you ask for a refund, the company will either ignore you or act like they will send it out. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!Update: Got the "refund" back, but not even half. If you haven't noticed for those reading these reviews, the company owner will argue with everyone who calls them out on a poor job they did instead of being a man and owning up to your mistake. Joke of a company.

WOW! Where do I start? Simply put, this company CARES! We have only lived here 2 years and always seem to have difficulty getting local businesses to either pick up or call us back. Not only does Chase pick up but he will respond immediately through email or text! He will move mountains to make you feel like you are his #1 priority! We had to work through a home warranty firm that wasn’t providing a fair return and Williams Heating & Air went to bat for us. In the end, we ended up purchasing a new unit. Jared and Hunter installed it in less than 3 hours. During their installation, they noticed our neighbor’s unit did not have a proper back flow. We told them she was 95 years old and probably never comes out to look at it. They took it upon themselves to fix it for her knowing that it would cause future problems if it wasn’t taken care of. Called this company to come check out two of my properties and the service guy came out immediately and accessed everything quickly. He said he had to order the part and that he would give me a discount. Now that’s the good stuff, after that he became totally unresponsive. I actually think I’m blocked now lol. It’s been 3 weeks now and still my AC is now working. I even texted the guy to see if he was ok and called the companies main number and still nothing. Excellent experience. I had used another local firm before, but was not happy with them. Before I found Williams' Plumbers I had called the other plumbers twice, but never got a call back. Williams got out to fix my problem very quickly. They listened to what I had seen when I isolated the problem. Verified my observations and dug up the area around that shutoff valve. The repair was professionally performed.I would highly recommend them to anyone. Pricing was fair as well. My dad was a general contractor for over 10 years so I know quality work when I see it. They came out to repair my unit that hasn't been working. They found a dead snake inside removed it then checked the overall unit. Also gave me a great quote to upgrade since mine is extremely old.
