Very nice staff and produce manager goes above and beyong whats expected to help me find my needed items. Shelves are mostly always stocked and fried pirkchop monday is my favorite deli item day. Chicken strips are excellent. Manager is extremely nice.

Everyone is friendly and inviting... except this one guy. My family loves the fried chicken in the deli. But there is this angry acting bearded guy that serves it. He looks at us as if we have kicked his dog. I mean this guy makes us feel so amazingly uncomfortable we actually ask ourselves if we really want the chicken today... Food Giant in Draffenville has a friendly staff also and the deli folks are warm and wonderful, but that chicken in Calvert is better and a convenient get once I get off the golf course. It is a shame that we have a debate about weather it is worth dealing with this creepy guy to get the chicken.

Stopped in for hamburger meat to make meatloaf... saw they had meatloaf on their hit bar by the deli... (apologies... onion rings and mushrooms are eaten by the time I took the picture). It is delicious, moist and flavorful. I also asked about a "Loisianna Supreme Habanero Sauce" we couldn't find... Manager ordered it and told me when it would arrive. 5 star service and management. Thank you for brightening my otherwise dark day!!!

A great local store with good selection of products at a fair price. Best part is close parking, easy to maneuver isles, and very quick and friendly staff. It's in and out. I was impressed.

It is very clean. Some process can be a little higher then save Walmart or Sam's or any of those. They do have a good variety to choose from. And their Deli is awesome. The homemade potato wedges are to die for! And the chicken is very cheap

This store is so clean. The produce is fresh , the shelves are organized and clean. I was looking for something and an employee asked if he could help me. You just don't get that type of service. Another employee was straitening shelves and also helpful. Will definitely shop here more often. Thanks!

I love this store but staff is not welcoming or friendly. The man working the deli acted like I was putting him out just by being there. He didnt slice my meat the way I asked him to, he never spoke a word to me. It's a shame that everyone who works there appears to be miserable.

Great home town, small grocery store. Excellent food in their deli. They make beautiful cakes and cookies and they cater. The manager helped me buy a large can of cheese sauce for a larger event. Very friendly, helpful staff. Grateful to have this stirevand it's staff in our town.

I like this little store, even though their prices are outrageously high!! I only buy a loaf of bread or milk that I need in-between runs to a Walmart. Store is clean, well stocked, friendly clerks, and I'd buy more if they'd price things reasonably!

This is an amazing grocery store with probably as much variety as the more popular grocery chains. That and the store itself provides a cozy atmosphere that the town is known for. Love coming in here and definitely recommend going if you're in town and need some food. Great deli as well and friendly staff!

This year we decided to order our food from Food Giant in Calvert. I will have to say I was very impressed. The food was hot and ready when I picked it up. The deli staff was working hard,to make sure the orders were correct. I'll have to say one of the best meals I've bought in many years. Thank you Food Giant Calvert city.

Great selection of fresh produce n meats and desserts . And their fried chicken In the deli is the closest to My Mother's fried chicken she made me growing up! And that's a TRUE compliment ! I love this store .

Great fried chicken from the deli, unfriendly staff though, and the rest of the deli food always looks nasty, like it's been sat there for days, all crusty and overcooked. The store is well laid out and the new staff up front are much friendlier. Food Giants store size, and higher prices makes it more like a large convenience store. Meat is good, but expensive.

Please place handy wipes by the meat department. When something goes on sale, order extra. Or use something to replace the item. Or use a voucher or something of that sort. So that way customers will be satisfied! Also please check into local/Amish Veggies.Thank you.

We bought fried chicken from the deli. It was on the steam table too long. We were shorted 2 legs which they replaced with 2 wings but wings are not eaten at our house and legs are. Felt a little cheated there, especially since the girl didn't even tell us. Bought 2 strawberry pies. They were delicious! Potato salad and macaroni salad was very good too.

Your regular run-of-the-mill supermarket it did save me a trip to the Walmart which would have otherwise taken a little bit more time than I would have liked it was also nice to see some of the things I'm not familiar with I didn't even know dr. Pepper and cream soda came in the same can and I think they've got 20 different kinds of bacon which is great cuz you know bacon is good for you they've got hot cases cold cases frozen food Deli fairly comfortable atmosphere wasn't crowded got in and out with everything I needed for my shish kabobs and The Thirst I just can't seem to quench today
