I had a appointment with Calvert City Animal Client on April 25, 2022.I had a fantastic appointment for both of my dog’s the young ladies where very professional about everything they where doing.Each of my dog’s where weighted and question ask about their health answered.Shot’s where giving and test for heart worm’s was taken, when testing was done a heart worm shot was giving.All my questions were answered and I was out of the office in well under a hour.No waiting and fantastic service.I hope to set up a appointment for teeth cleaning and one for I’m sure will be a few extraction.But I want to thank them for the wonderful job they did.Tanner and EbenezerGrandma

I wouldn't recommend this Calvert Animal Hospital with the new management. It use to be about your dogs health, but it runned more like a business & your dogs health comes last .

Took two cats in on the 3rd of March to have spayed. Was told on the phone that it would be $252 for having them both spayed and their rabies shots. I go to pick up my cats and was charged $379.48 because they got the pick up person to sign papers to have test done, which was NOT authorized by me. Four days later, my cat is back in their office, because her incision is open and infected. They put ointment on it, two staples, and send her on her way. They tell my dad that they will send me the bill for that visit. She has been in a E-collar as well.Two days later, today, my cat is on her way to another vet to have their botched work fixed. Two pictures included. First is from Monday 4 days after surgery, second is from today, 2 days after the incision was "fixed".I will never give this vet my business, nor will any of the rest of my family... and they will definitely never be recommended by any of us.

Unfortunately we had to have my mom's 15 yoa yorkie euthanized. They were very patient and took us in immediately even though it was close to their closing time. Very compassionate

Have to have appointment and it takes a week to get in so if your dog is very sick you better go elsewhere they won't see it. This place is under new management with very poor service. I would actually give it no stars. Dr. Freeman must not be there anymore.

They are affiliated with Gelinskys Animal Clinic and I have the utmost confidence my animals will get the same quality of care at the Calvert City Animal Hospital. I highly recommend them for general care and questions about your pet's health. They have treated our pack (dogs ages 6-16 years) for a few years now.

I used to despise coming here with my mother as a kid because of the mean old veterinarian but then Ceglinsky's took it over and I am more than thrilled to take a trip there! They are so nice and very clearly passionate about animals and their happiness.

If I could give no stars i would. I took my golden retriever/ lab mix here for the first and last time. We came in because I thought he had gotten hit by a car. Dr. Freeman asked me to walk him down the hall on a leash (he was visibly limping). Freeman basically called me a liar and sarcastically commented that he just walked weird. He then proceeded to pull my dog onto the floor, yanked on his leg HARD. My dog looked at him and licked his hand (because he’s a loving dog not a crazy attack dog) FREEMAN GRABBED HIS HEAD, SLAMMED IT ONTO THE GROUND AND PUNCHED MY PERFECT BABY IN THE FACE. I started crying (noticeably) and he showed no emotion toward me or my animal. He said “he probably sprained it running” gave him a steroid shot and sent us out. I did not pay for this visit.

I can't even leave any stars for a review ( but it's required) . My dad took his dog in and the lady that "took" care ( if you wanna call it that) never finished all the tests and didn't send the medicine in right. So my dad's therapy dog had to put to sleep due to their negligence which he had to pay for. When they got a call about it there was no remorse or sympathy whatsoever said things like that happen. So if you wanna keep your pet alive don't take it there.

I have a bitey dog and they spayed her and took good care of her despite her being an arse. Handled surgery and aftercare very well. Good place, so far as that's concerned.
