Seriously this place is horrible. The hamburger we got processed looked like the other pictures. Was full of fat and bone. I tried running it through my meat grinder several times and it was still horrible. Not even good enough for the dog. They also sold me sausage when I picked up my meat and this is what I got. I wish we would have never used them - a total waste of money.

Exact same experience as "markonj1" We have had around 10-15 quarters of cows processed over the years. Some at this place some at others, never before I have I received something so gross. This picture is of our ground beef...I would call it ground fat cause there is no ground beef in it. We cooked the burgers, over 60% of the weight turned into oil. I might feed to dog, but Im not even sure it is good for that. This is like sausage. It smells so repulsive we refuse to consider eating it. The cows that were taken were good healthy animals. We and the other couple who purchased this half have 50#s each of inedible meat. Honestly we are so disturbed we might toss the entire half. 1400$ and not a thing we can do. Do not go here. I can't leave 0 stars. Please be advised that you will never receive your money back if you aren't happy, and you will loose whatever you have in the cow. At least with fresh road kill I know what I am putting in my mouthUpdate: We ended up tossing the entire animal. Owner cussed at us and told us too bad. We called the USDA; this place cant possible be safe to eat from. Just a matter of time before their burger causes and illness.

We brought in a whole cow, the hamburger tastes like deer, never a cow. Very disappointed won't go back there again.

I had four steers processed a year ago. I ended up giving refunds to several customers. The meat smelled really awful. Couldn't eat it. The ground was more like pork sausage. I tried some myself that I took in return. I threw it away. The others that I gave refunds, I had them throw it away. Not edible. I'll never take anything to them again.

Dropped off 4 cows for clients that bought them off my farm.It took 3 weeks to process them. Half my client asked for refunds because the meat smelled so strong you couldn't eat it.It wasn't the cow because one client bought half and his was great. The client that bought the other half had the bad smell. So it was caused during the processing. Asking others, I believe it's because it hung to long before processing.I refunded about $3000 to those clients.When I've brought up issues, I was hung up on.Will never bring another beef.

I would have given 1/2 star but not available. I was very surprised the quality of the hamburger. The burger looks like pate. Really hard to put into patties and sticks to everything. I have bone pieces in the packs. Very hard to eat without chewing on bone. Went back to talk to him and nothing. It was like I was my fault the meat was like that. Even the bones didn't seem to concern him. I really have no recourse other then small claims court. If I had know he wasn't USDA certified, I would never have gone to him. This place will never get my business, I really guess I am the only looser, he got my money and I got cat food.

If I could give zero stars I would. Took a young grain fed steer to be processed and in return we got rancid meat!!! Hamburger had more fat content than actual meat and smelled absoutley horrible!! Steaks were covered in bone fragment and smelled spoiled. Called and asked what was wrong and was cussed out by the owner. The best thing that could happen is this shop be perminantly closed!!!!

Whoever bags the meat does a horrible job. Lots of air pockets and gaps in the bags which results in decreased freezer longevity. A child possibly could have done better. As much as I didn't love Lenoxburg's- We will probably request to use them again.

Horrible sure it’s not are meat we got back grain feed calf so tuff can’t eat...hope they enjoy are meat will never take anything there again 😡
