Such a great asset for Brandenburg. Play areas for children. Campsites for RVs. Walking trail at Buttermilk Falls or follow the sidewalk along the river. Boat ramps for those utilizing the Ohio River. There are usually concerts scheduled at the amphitheater spring, summer and fall. Recently, the Meade County Bicentennial was held here

Visited on a brisk February early afternoon to go for a walk; a short walk. The wife and I walked along the path close to the riverfront.It was cool to look upon the Ohio River and gaze across the water to see Indiana. Anyway, there’s a CSA monument/statue along with murals of Brandenburg.As others have stated there’s a boat launch as well 5-6 slots for parking an RV which includes electrical hookups. Our stay was brief but we certainly enjoyed the park and the view.

Nice view of the Ohio river. There is a gazebo to set in , grills to grill on , ice cream shop in an apartment building, pizza place to eat . Swing set and play ground for kids . Walk paths and bridges to walk over.

Great park with walking trails and small waterfalls. Paved paths make walking really easy. Lots of people walk the trails with their dogs!

Beautiful waterfront park on the Ohio. They have "Market on Main" every few weeks with craft items and other stuff for sale. Pavilions for picnics, a playground, Buttermilk Falls trail, boat ramp, and an amphitheater showing movies on select Friday nights. There's also a small campground.Playground: They recently installed a new playground. It's very nice.Restrooms: New showers and restrooms were also installed with the upgradeDog-friendliness: We always bring our dogs here. Never had any issues.Picnic area: There are three picnic shelters now.

This is a pretty park on the river. A nice place to watch the barges float past. It doesn’t have much of a playground.

Small park. Good place to have a picnic or play frisbee. It flooded completely in FEB. They are still in the process of cleaning it up now. It willbe a couple of weeks before cars can deive bac there again.

Great park! Good to walk the dog. Walk path right along the Ohio River. Buttermilk Falls is here also. That's a lot tougher walk. Meade County has the best parks!Dog-friendliness: Great paths. Dog friendly.

It's a good place to put your boat in the river. Everything you need to catch fishes within a half mile either wayPlayground: They have a real nice playground for children. It's a good size playground and it's childproof it's best can be.Restrooms: They have several restrooms. All are plumbed. So there's usually enough restrooms to go around.Dog-friendliness: All dogs are welcome there. Just be sure to pick up their waste!Picnic area: There are picnic tables all over the place. You shouldn't have trouble finding one any where anywhere

Took my wife there for a river front stroll. Place is very clean and the grass was cut. Had workers out there watering the flowers that were planted. Nice and peaceful place to go if you want to sit on a bench or swing and watch the boats and barges go up and down the Ohio river.

This is actually a really nice little park. Right on the river and plenty of places to walk. There are 2 boat ramps, a playground. There is an ice cream shop next to it and also a pizza place. The town is really cute too. Great place to visit!

Great place for a walk or a run. The path is an old road so footing is secure even when wet. There is a water fall that is nice in the spring but would be less in the summer.

Great boat launch and park. There's rv parking. The launch is very steep like most river launches. Single vehicle launch so sometimes there's a short wait at busy times. Good pizza closeby, walking distance at Jailhouse Pizza

Nice park, places to picnic, barbecue, launch your boat, there are several shelters, a gazebo, lots of picnic tables and an outside auditorium. Lots of parking and a few rv parking locations. Well lit with cameras, a nice walking trail that's maybe 3 miles and a food truck on the weekends and a pretty good restaurant.

Great small and peaceful campground. All spaces are water & electric with a nearby dump station. Nice view of the nearby Ohio River. Park is clean and well maintained.

Beautiful scenery! Nice playground and picnic tables overlooking the river. Also trails where you can see multiple waterfalls. Family friendly even with small children😊

This is a simple park with good views of the Ohio river. There is a children's play area, picnic tables an amphitheater and multiple benches to rest as you walk the path. There is also a nice trail to Buttermilk falls and Emerrt falls in the middle of the park. There are not an abundance of trees however and in the summertime it can get close to unbearable without some shade. If you have time and don't mind spending a little money Jail House Pizza makes a good lunch/dinner and has A/C.

Good boat ramps, but a little on the steep side for a new boater, good mobile dock, good parking for boats, clean areas for walking, access to hiking trails, and jailhouse pizza is right there where you turn to go to the boat ramps.

Pit Junkies were set up by the boat ramp serving smash burgers and I had to buy 2 for me and 2 for Wifey....they are DELICIOUS 🤤🤤🤤Playground: Small playground for the lil onesRestrooms: Clean restrooms with automatic soap and hand towel dispensers

Nice view of the mighty Ohio River! It offers some historical information with several monuments and markers, as during the Civil War, Confederate General John Hunt Morgan crossed at Brandenburg to begin his famous raid into Union territory in July, 1863.This park is great for walks, there is a pavilion, and some boat docks.

This place would be great, but there is a large confederate memorial there. There last time I checked, Kentucky did not join the confederacy. So, I am not sure of what message they are trying to send. That one monument is ten time larger than the other tiny monuments the have there. Why not celebrate the union as well. After all Kentucky was part of the Union.
