They always seem to have just what a person needs. They are very helpful but not so reasonable on pricing. If you compare them to say Home Depot, more money maybe but you won't find the kind of service at Home Depot that you do with Allen's S and T. Check them out...worth the trip if you need anything!

This is one awesome hardware store and lumber yard! I highly recommend it to anyone that lives in the county, they are very friendly and helpful and reasonably priced! Why go to the big-name stores out of County to try and save Pennies on the dollar and waste your fuel doing so they have better quality than the big brand name stores in my opinion! If they don't have it they will try and get it for you. I will always go there if you ever need anything and recommend everybody else to. Very good people to deal with, and everybody knows there job very well !!!!!Remember to shop local and support your locally owned stores.

I went to home depot to buy my flooring. I'm on crutches. The customer service was terrible. I needed baseboards so I thought I'd support local. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The lady was very helpful and informative. Now I wish I would have bought my flooring there!

Standard hardware store, garbage hours. If you work yourself at all, you only have a few hour window on Saturday to actually catch the place being open. I've had to go to Cox's or Lowe's nearly every time I've tried to go here whether they're open or not though (but mostly because they're closed)
