Wow. First time checking this place out and was incredibly appalled. Animals in enclosures with days, maybe even weeks' worth of feces and urine. Ball pythons in dirty tanks with soiled puppy pads. Feeding dishes that look as if they hadn't ever been cleaned. Cats roaming around with birds within easy reach of them. Turtle with no UVB lighting. The smell around the animals was atrocious, and there's no reason for employees to be standing around the way they were when the animals are living on top of piles of their own waste.

Great selection of all animal foods/care items! Employees are very helpful and knowledgeable! You can really tell that they love their jobs and the animals in their care! Best pet store in bowling green in my opinion.Based off previous reviews I was concerned to visit, but im glad I took a chance on coming in to see the animals/products that they have! They have definitely done some amazing changes, and made some significant improvements! :)

We had never been inside this store but wanted to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised to find a well stock, brightly lit and friendly staffed store where we could bring our dog and bathe him easily. We plan to do that this weekend.

I give 2 stars because the store has been cool up till today. I go to this store for ALL my pets needs and have been to this store weekly since day 1. I bring my entire family to this store every single time. My kids LOVE this store. I come here to enjoy the fish hobby with my family. Never have I ever been told I wasn't allowed to pick Healthy fish. The number 1 rule when purchasing fish is to pay attention and to buy the healthy ones and ignore the sickly ones as to PROTECT YOUR HOME AQUARIUM. I was picking out healthy feeders for a sickly fish they sold me that I am in process of healing. This is why I choose to PICK my fish. They told me I was no longer allowed to choose what I wanted to buy. Basically if I wanted to purchase feeders for my fish I would have to accept the sick fish they are pushing onto me that could RUIN my entire stock. This is OUTRAGEOUS. This is feeders pet supply and I should not haft to risk putting my home hobby in danger because they need food and I am not allowed to the healthy feeders of correct size and health of my choosing for my fish. I am VERY let down by this NEW RULE. Its my money and I shouldn't have to be forced to buy spoiled/rotten/diseased/toxic/harmful goods and or services for my pets. PLEASE CHANGE THIS RULE.

The store has a nice selection of pet supplies, treats, and food. But I will never return here for grooming services and would not recommend them to anyone else. We had a couple scheduling issues due to incorrect availability being listed and documents the were required for service were not listed online either, but they were able to work with us to reschedule so I appreciated that. However on the day of the actual grooming, we dropped off our dog and received a phone call about an hour later stating that she had only been washed, with the haircut and nail trim, the primary requested service would not be done. The only reason provided for this was that our dog "didn't like the blowdryer, and they didn't want to try the haircut or nail trim". Which isn't true because she likes the hairdryer at home. When my wife picked up our dog, she was still wet and had multiple mats in her hair from where she had waited to be picked up after the wash without being dried, she was also alone in the back of the store in a room with the lights turned out. My wife said she seemed terrified when she got to her and was crying when she was let out. Initially, the groomer was going to charge us $60 for the wash even though the service we scheduled was not performed. But stated he would take $35. Even though no services we needed had been performed, as we can wash our dog at home like we usually do. A professional haircut was what was really needed because she's going to be in family photos. I would understand if she'd been aggressive at some point due to this being her first time at a groomer, but that was never construed to us and I did not observe anything like that during the time I watched her before I left the store to be sure there were no issues. Regardless of the groomers justification there was no reason to leave our girl wet and cold. She could have been dried with towels that are available for the self wash if the blow drier was the issue. We wanted to try Feeders new grooming service because it was closer to our house than other places. But the poor service, that in my opinion is due mainly to inexperience, will prevent us from using this service in the future. (Store: Bowling Green, KY; Groomer: Indigo)

The husbandry of the animals is afoul! It smelled disgusting when I and my husband walked in their animals covered in poop. Fish tanks looks afoul the cats running around the store was pestering the birds. They was sitting on top of a bird cage and smacking at the cage… in the whole store I saw one employee wearing a feeders shirt the rest you couldn’t tell if they actually worked their or not… there was a huddle of them at the front. I asked about fish and nobody was willing to help me at all. They was up front laughing about the time a snake escaped and got into the ferret cage and how the ferret killed the snake… I will never go back into this store again!! I will also be calling corporate because these poor animals shouldn’t be living in the conditions they do… it’s absolutely afoul and nobody cares there. If I could give 0 stars I would.

My daughter and I love this store. They have "house" cats and we love going to visit. They usually have cats for adoption from local shelters. The employees are always polite.

Seems like everytime I go to use pet wash they are closed for some reason. I always check times and everything. Also I feel my dog is very judged because of his breed. Gonna start going somewhere else.

This is the best petting zoo in town! They even allow you to buy food and feed it to all the critters. Then the staff does some strange medieval reenactment and brandish these pitchforks/torches and chase you out of the store! Very cool. I go weekly now.

Variety and prices are ok, not the best I’ve seen., not the worst. The people working there are really bringing the experience down. I always have to wait at the abandoned register and tonight, after finding another employee and asking for someone to come check me out, someone finally came out from the back looking like I she had just woken up from a nap. Didn’t apologize. Didn’t even greet me. I’m over it and won’t be back.

Shockingly good prices. Lowest costs I've found for Acana/Orijen. Bully sticks at $5 for 8inch. Usually they're at least $8 elsewhere. Not the most impressed with their small animal care (cages are just kind of bland, and a bit small for a couple of them) but this is a new store and I heard them talking about changes/improvements when they didn't know I was in there and I feel confident they're going to be improving it over time. I'd give 4 stars if I hadn't overheard that but I feel comfortable giving 5 since I believe it's on their docket.

Terrible animal husbandry and healthcare. The small mammals are housed in unsafe enclosures, and are fed mixed seed diets. The birds are either acutely stressed or depressed every time I go in. When I brought all this up to the manager, he said "Well, corporate says I can do it" several times, and would not agree that exotic animals require exotic-level care. I once had to take a sick animal off their hands for free, and a rabbit I purchased was in quite a sad condition. They let a turtle bang its head against the glass tank for weeks. If you care about animals, don't shop here.

We liked the store but service was little to none. We weren't greeted, no offer for assistance as we looked for what we wanted, and the staff barely even spoke with us as we checked out.
