🤗 Was very pleasantly surprised by Dollar General Market on all levels from the ease of parking, the friendly staff and, of course, the well stocked, expansive inventory (including fresh produce!). Bonus points for being sparkling clean, having ample handicap parking and the spacious aisles. Definitely worth the drive & I look forward to shopping there again soon.

This is a great stop for basic necessities, and you get amazing deals on lots of things if you use their app on your phone we have saved a remarkable amount of money here. They also have some pretty good fall decorations and foods. It is usually not too busy so it is definitely worth a stop.

Felt sorry for the VERY NICE young lady working tonight- two younger, dirty looking guys (wprkers) just sitting in electric wheelchair/scooters doing NOTHING! Laughed when an old man made them get off their butts and check him out. They promptly turned the light out and left her to be the only cashier.

Wow!!!! Pop Shelf is not your average Dollar General. I would give it 10 stars. I spent a bit over 100 bucks, a lot of money for a cheaper like me. I got 6 Martha Stewart Collection bowls, 6 Bombay company baskets, 9 vases of various colors. 3 apothecary jars with lids,, a really cool canister, a glass measuring cup with lid and a bunch of other decor items. It’s like a Dollar store on steroids! ❤️

This and all local dollar stores have been severely lacking in inventory since 2020. However they always have carts with possible inventory blocking all the isles. Good luck getting an actual person to wait on you or check you out. They put in self checkout registers so they don't have to deal with you.

We close at 11pm solely as summer hours and will be back to 10pm in September. I'm annoyed by Google because it won't let me do some kind of "temporary hours" edit, so this review is the best I can do as an employee to let people know.Great place to work, though. Can't complain.

Dollar general market has gone completely downhill! It used to be a nice place to get great deals on everyday items and the store was easy to navigate. Not anymore! Now it sucks! They are always out of things I need. Since adding "Popshelf" the whole store is cluttered with a bunch of junk that I don't need just so they can charge me more money for shopping at a "fancy Dollar General"! And the coupons never actually save me anything, the cashiers are always ringing stuff up wrong. The cashiers never know anything about the coupons and refuse to correct the price manually. The registers can't even recognize how much money I have on my food stamp card, when every other store has that option. Instead of upgrading to be a fancy Dollar General, maybe they should upgrade the technology at the register. Multiple price tags for the same item so you never know what you will be charged. Shelves are always completely empty no matter what time or day you go.

Mother's day cards dollar said $1 I got 2 cards they ended up being $2 I asked them to fix it. they wouldn't, and tried to tell me it's says they stay at a dollar so I went back and checked, and it did not but they wouldn't even go look or fix the issue

This was my first time shopping at Dollar General and I'm impressed with their prices and smaller selection. They have a little bit of a lot of things. The employees that I interacted with were polite and helpful. They also were masked up and there were sanitizing wipes to wipe your buggy down with. I'll be back for sure!

People always nice I'm not a huge fan of the place I don't like the shampoo deodorant section because you have those plastic slide things just makes it hard to get to. I understand its for I believe security due to theft. I do like the produce prices and meats are fair priced. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there

I can not believe I have been living near this GEM of a store. It is one of the few stores where stock is actually out on shelves. It was so awesome to get what I needed and not have to dig through 6 foot carts blocking every isle etc. Clean, staffed well and very helpful & friendly!.

Good prices. Great location for me and my family. I dont like how they sometimes only havr register one open; there is no belt and if a person has a lot of items, its a pain. More time than not they seem short handed on cashiers. I will note I have never met a rude employee; always kind and helpful.

The employees were courteous and helpful in finding items I had on my list. The downside between Dollar General Market and larger chains is the limited selection; however, if you're flexible you can generally find most items needed without having to drive to a larger (and more crowded) chain store.

The staff is so helpful& polite. The store is clean & well maintained. I'm happy I can easily get my semi truck Bob tailing parked in there and being able to park a ways away. Big lot

On my way home from Bowling Green stopped here to pick up a couple of items that no longer are carried at Save-A-Lot. I found many items that I had forgotten they carry and it's much more convenient than driving through some of the city traffic to get to Walmart. This will become one of my regular stops. The prices are also very reasonable.

This place has tons of stuff... had never seen a "market" Dollar General. Was a clean and well lit store. Shopping was easy enough with room in the aisles. The employees were helpful as well. A good visit.

They have these big, tall and deep shelves, and when customers have picked them almost clean, it’s impossible to reach the remaining items on top or in back. Also, they tend to spoil out the meat items on their lower shelves at 25% and 50% quite often, because people can’t stoop down on their knees to fish the items off of the lower shelves.

Dollar General Market has the best coupon on Saturdays for $5 off $25. I wait for a coffee sale and purchase everything that day. Saving so much is great for my pocketbook and I have more to buy lunch!

I really wish they would pull other workers from doing carts or stock to open up registers during their busy hoursOnly having 1 sometimes 2 registers open when people are on the way to work, have a back injury and trying to stand in line for 10 to 15 mins is the worst part about this store. However there is a gentleman who has worked there for years now. He normally does the stock or cards, he is the sweetest kindest most helpful employee they have there. Obviously him being a stocker he knows where everything is. I have had to ask for help several times and he does not mind at all. I'm also short so if I can't reach something he is always able to help and I can't say enough about him. He's the sweetest hard working person there and I would really like to see him move up to manager. He would be the perfect fit for a managerial position.

Very interesting store. It's the Dollar Store concept, expanded into a moderate sized market. Very good prices on their store brands, no worse than average on name brands. The people were friendly and the store was clean, both a major plus in my view.

I shop at dollar market at leadt three times a week, but I accidentally left two bottles of finger nail polish on my last visit. One of the managers even came to the register to check the items scanned because there was a new employee in training, and I thought she had scanned the nail polish twice. So, I went back to let the same manager know that I was missing the finger nail polish, & he asked me what day & time I was in the store. & I told him excatly when I purchased the nail polish. Then he stated that he had to check the camera, so I wsted for 20 minutes. for him to cone back to say that the camera show that my nail polish was in the bag I picked up. Howrver I didn't have thecnail polish when I got hone. So, I said don't worry aboyt it. I was disappointed with the way this manager handled the situation. I would not waste my time waiting 20 minutes of my valuable time to tell a lie to get. two bottles of nail polish.

Women's restroom really stinks & it's not like just this once, it's every time I use it!!! Other than that everything is great!! Customer Service, friendly staff, great selection & reasonable prices!!
