My last two experiences at CVS pharmacy have been an impressive improvement over the last months.Pharmacist, Matt, was friendly as was Katrina. No waiting in a long line. Prescription was ready. They appeared to be fully staffed and that was welcomed change! We have been long time customers of CVS and had become so frustrated with the lack of help in the pharmacy that created long waits only to find out prescription was not ready!Hope the positive change will last!

CVS would move to a number one rating all over the US if your pharmacy staff were as customer friendly and accommodating as the ones in this store. I phoned the store about 7:05PM and ask the female who answered if they had a particular drug in stock because we tried 2 other pharmacies and they could not get it. She said yes they had it, so then I ask if there was anyway we could get the script transferred from Meijer to CVS and filled before closing tonight. She took all the info and said she would ask the Pharmacist to make the call and try getting it done before close. I told her I was on my way and should get there by 7:30PM.\nI arrived at 7:35 figuring they would not have it ready or there would be some reason why it couldn't get filled tonight, some delay........... but to my surprise, it was ready before they closed with plenty of time to spare and they had a positive and friendly attitude all the way through. I thanked all of them and said how happy I was and how much I appreciated them. They probably were surprised by all that but they have no idea what I went through to get those 5 little pills and how important it was I got them that night. The doctor phoned the script into our regular pharmacy who did not let us know they could not even order those pills, we called late in the day then had the script transferred to Meijer, then when I got there at 6:30PM to pickup, they then informed me they could not get the pills. I went to another (Major chain) pharmacy and explained the situation, where they had the pills but were very rude and un helpful. The FOUR of them acted like I was a nuisance when I interrupted what looked like a football huddle of gossip going on. The one helping me rolled her eyes and said no way they would be able to transfer and have it filled before they closed at 8PM. It was 7PM at the time. I made the call to CVS at 7:05 from the parking lot of that pharmacy. So I very much expected just another problem to arise when I arrived at CVS to get the script. But what do you know, you guys moved to HERO status with me!\nA few important facts, the pills were for my loved one which is WAY more important than if they were for me. They were not opioids or narcotics of any kind, they were freakin anti parasite pills (ivermectin) and if she did not take them that night it would have messed up over a months worth of planning doctors, work and her surgery would have had to been rescheduled for next year. So not only did we spend days preparing for all of the events, I ran around all day and evening in a panic trying to take care of my loved ones needs. Oh, did I mention I was doing all this on my motorcycle and the temperature dropped to 36 degrees so it was approximately 28 with wind chill factor?\nCVS became our full time and favorite pharmacy that night. The cold whether did not bother me a bit on the ride home because I felt very warm and cozy when I got home because there is nothing more important then taking care of my \"better half\".\nRegards, Mr. Kim.Hester

CVS stores in Bowling Green, KY have been neglected WAY to long. Time for CVS to step up and provide a clean, staffed, and well-stocked pharmacy and store. If your insurance requires you to visit these local stores for your prescription needs, I’m sorry you have to endure this unbelievable neglected situation.

Horrible pharmacy service. I have been on hold an hour and counting trying to speak with someone in the pharmacy. Waiting for a prescription inside or at the drive through is at least a half hour wait and often longer. The staff are nice, but are severely understaffed. This has been going on too long to blame on hiring issues.
