The doctor and staff at Alpine are amazing! They're always able to get us in and help us with anything from nail clipping to emergencies for our pets!Today we took Ryder to Alpine. No matter who is working up front. they are always sweet and helpful. Today Natalie helped us and she's a sweetheart! She also pet sits so we are excited to have her watch our pups!

I take my dog here for boarding, and all of the office girls are wonderful. They probably see a hundred pets a week and still are excited to see mine every time! They sent me an update last time I was gone, too.

Decided to tell us a temperament letter for my dog was free since we’ve been there before, that was when I called at 7:19 am on December 7th. Then after they gave me the paper they wanna say there’s a $40 fee, i have no problem paying for a service but let me know in advance. Don’t claim something is free to get customers to come through the door.

We had to take our sweet cat to Alpine Pet Care for after hours help. She had (crazy enough) gotten a fish hook stuck inside her mouth and we were unable to remove it on our own. I called Alpine Pet Care and asked if they could help that same evening. The lady who helped me was absolutely amazing. She reached out to the veterinarian, who had already gone home for the evening. He called me back right away, explained he was heading back to the office and that he could help us with our cat. I drove there pretty quickly as the place was easy to find. They got us in, and our cat was taken care of in a whopping 10 minutes or less. It truly took longer to drive there than for them to treat her. I am thankful for the veterinarian and his assistant. They were kind to our cat, and they were kind to our kids who were very concerned for the kitty. I would recommend them to anyone in search of a good veterinarian, and I really hope I do not their help but if I do I'll certainly reach out again. Thank you Alpine Pet Care!

I had to put my piper down due to illness the staff was amazing & very compassionate with my loss I can't say enough how they made my family fill losing our family pet would highly recommend them tank to all for helping us through this difficult time if you don't own a pet u won't understand there family & it hurts to lose them too rip my piper girl

I recently had an emergency with my nine week old puppy. They were the on-call veterinary clinic at the time. I called their office and was told by the automated system to leave a message and the on call vet would call me back as soon as possible. After calling several times and leaving voice messages. I never got any response. I called other vet clinics in town and their automated system referred me to Alpine as they were the on-call clinic and all of the other vet clinics in town were closed. Unfortunately my puppy did not make it through the night.. he passed while I sat in my car at Alpine Pet Center parking lot.

I'd let Trace and Nicole operate on me. I have so much faith in them. I wouldn't take my pets to any other place. My dog Squirt is an abused rescue and they fo out of their way to make him feel like home.Their family. Staff is top notch and good with snakes, the bigger the better.

Called their 24/7 number at about midnight and they did call us back fairly quick. We express the concerns we had, how our kitten just had a vaccine and roundworm treatment, now she’s laying on the floor crying, can’t stand, struggling to breathe. On call “doctor” says that’s normal side effects, wait until morning to see if she’s better. Well surprise, she died in the night. Just seemed like a lazy man that didn’t want to get out of bed.

Alpine Pet Care Center took wonderful care of my dog while I was away on vacation! When I came back, they had given me a bottle of medicine to help with her stomach since she got stressed from being separated and I immediately felt so much better about leaving her there. She was very well cared for and I'll definitely be returning with my pets in the future!

They are so very nice here! My cat had some major dental work done at Alpine Pet Care Center, and they had great communication the entire time (including after care), reasonable prices, and caring and professional staff. They worked with us to make sure that our cat was well cared for and that we as owners felt that our cat was safe and loved. I am so thankful for Alpine Pet Care Center for taking care of us, and will definitely return in the future.

Super sweet people! Yet I was told that they would call before doing anything to my cat, and instead called to tell me that I owed almost $200 dollars after I never consented to the procedures. I didn't appreciate being told one thing and them not following through with that. Definitely wouldn't go again after that.

Alpine Pet Care Center is one of the best vets around BG! They have always taken care of our cat Mr. Moo Moo. The doctors are wonderful listeners who have attended to every need. They always have appointments available and are super affordable! They take the time to follow up and call about our visit explaining everything in great detail, too. Can’t recommend them enough!

I could not be more thankful for this place! Saw my cat super last minute and were so nice the entire time. They helped me feel calm and at home and I knew from the second I got off the phone my baby was in good hands. The day after my appointment they even called to check and see how my cat was doing and make sure I didn’t have any questions! If I could give more than five stars I would, definitely found a new animal clinic in BG.

Alpine Pet Care Center was the “on call veterinarian” the night my dog had an emergency situation. When we called Dr. Trace Gorham refused to see my dog and would not give reason as to why. When asked why he would not give us an explanation and kept redirecting the question. We later figured out my dog was suffering from a cut artery and would’ve bled out if we did not seek emergency care at the local Human Society. I DO NOT recommend this clinic or Dr. Trace Gorham at all. Horrible experience with a life threatening injury and we recieved NO help at all

I had a great experience from the beginning. I called to set up an appointment for my cat (which I thought had a UTI) and the gentleman was so nice and able to get me in the next day. When I arrived the woman who came out to get details about Sterling was really nice and understanding. Dr. Trace called me later to tell me the results of Sterling’s test and he was super nice and explained everything very well. The whole team was very affable which made the experience great.

These people should have their veterinary license revoked immediately. Our cat got into pesticides and was told from them “there is nothing we can do she will be fine it’s just a stomach ache” after hours of trying to get them on the phone to see her. We ended up having to take her all the way down to Nashville because we were able to get another clinic in Bowling Green on the phone who told us we should get her in somewhere immediately. We took her down to Nashville and it was too late to save her and she has passed away. If these people think that is admirable or respectable then they have another thing coming and this clearly shows that they have no interest in the well being of the animals they are supposed to be taking care of.

I've been familiar with the Bowling Green area for about three years now. I moved here about nine months ago and have taken my two cats and one dog to Alpine the entire nine months. They've been in business for more than 15 years, so they've definitely been doing something right. There facilities are older and easy to underestimate, but their techs are great. You can tell how much of animal lovers they are there. Tammy especially convinced me that my animals were safe there, because she care for them as much as if they were her own. I always get super hot there, and I wish they would invest in some more air conditioning, but I think they have to keep it warm for the tropical bird that resides there. Anyway, I'm not sure what happened during these other reviewers' visits, but they have most definitely changed in more than five years. My pets are my absolute babies, and I trust Alpine with them. Dr Trace knows what he's talking about, and always answers all my questions to where I can understand. Also as a perk, their prices are competitive, and they are very knowledgeable about preventative health care for pets!

Very good service, very friendly staff. The only complaint that I have had is that it seems they aren't always knowledgeable about what vaccines, etc has been performed and what hasn't. They are very good with our dogs, gentle and friendly. I love to see the cats roaming freely around, not bothered by the many dogs that come through the door.

My husband went to take our dog there to get an exam and quote on how much a surgery would be to have 4 infected teeth removed. One of the things they asked him is where he worked before they even did anything, and after he told them they quoted an astronomical fee, more than double of a previous pet hospital that we got a quote from, who didn't even ask that question at all. I don't know if this is a standard question to ask before giving a quote but I do know that when we go to doctors when we're sick they only ask for insurance and maybe a work phone number. Just seems odd to me that they wanted to know this information. Naturally, we will go with our old trusted vet clinic that doesn't base their prices on our place of employment.

I had to use Alpine for an emergency call over a holiday weekend, and although it was understandably a bit pricey the doctor was amazing! He was very thorough and really had a knack for keeping my cat calm throughout the check up.I will most definitely use Alpine again for any emergencies we have!
