These folks are always helpful.It's NOT HOME DEPOT! It's a fraction of the size, and so is their selection. Adjust your expectations accordingly.That being said, it's got what you are LIKELY to need, just not 5 brands to choose from. In a pinch, Ace Hardware will be worth stopping at, as they probably have what you need.

Not the worst experience at this location but not the best. They did not have enough of what I needed. The manager told me she was expecting another shipment at the end of the week and she would call me when my product came in. I was blown away with her customer service. We set up a time and date for me to pick up my product. She never called, so I went to the store on the day I set up with the manager. My product was not ready and to add insult, I had to wait until she finished clearing out a tote at the register before she went and prepared my product. I literally stood at the register as she cleared out this tote and gave instructions to other employees. It just seemed as if a sense of urgency was not a priority and customer experience was not a concern. She literally did not even apologize. My overall experience was fair. All the associates seemed nice, the store was thoroughly clean and organized.Everyone was helpful but the follow up was not good!

Went inside. Went back outside. Survived the journey. Lived to post a 5 star review. 5 stars because it is ace hardware. We will need these during the apocalypse. We can't build shelters out of loot from Aldi now can we.

The gentlemen mixing my paint did an awesome job with asking questions and wanting to know what I exactly needed. The paint color turned out beautifully. Just saying, great customer service!

When I went in , I knew exactly what I was looking for and I found it quickly. The store manager walked into the aisle with me as I was looking at the specific bit I needed. She did ask me if I needed help ; but I told her I didn't. I actually had a screw with me to make certain I got exactly what I needed. She stayed in the aisle with me until I walked to the front area. Then she stayed close until I paid and left. I don't know if she thought I was going to steal the bits I was looking for or what ; but that is what I felt like . It made me uncomfortable and it felt disrespectful. I wonder if she acts like this with other customers. I don't plan to go back to this location because of this.

I am in love with their Simply Southern clothing line. There is a shirt that says I was raised on sweet tea and Jesus. I have to find my size because I have to have that shirt. This is my new favorite place. I love their Hallmark and Ace rewards program. Sign up guys...

It was great! I bought a case knife for a church auction and it came with a free case hat! Paid 60 and sold at auction for 85. Everyone was safe, efficient, and friendly. Had a wide variety of merchandise. Very impressed. A++++

Good stuff. Too much crammed into a small space . Sliding racks, felt like solving a puzzle to find what I needed.Did find what I needed. Worried I would mash my fingers getting to it. They had a bit too much of non-hardware items. But guess that's what people want nowadays.I'll go back.

The guy the (approximately 6'1" Tall) long brown haired guy working at Ace Hardware on the (31 Bye Pass) was overwhelmed with one customer while being very rude, he was very hateful, He was nowhere near the one customer, When I asked him one simple question, he lost his composer just rude rude rude 🌟 😞The Ace Hardware on ( Russellville Rd) at the old SAVE-A-LOT was Excellent Great Staff and Employees, Young guy with long brown hair (approximately 5'6" Tall) Young man was excellent, he was very friendly and knowledgeable, I see him going places...🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 😀

Ace Hardware marketplace is a solid place to get home improvement tools and etc. I came to the store looking for DampRid, and the teenage staff member did not seem knowledgeable and told me he didn’t think they had it after I showed him a picture. I wish he would have expended some degree of effort to look for it before dismissing me, so I ultimately searched for myself and found what I needed.

I love Ace Hardware. I'm so glad they added a store closer to me. I needed a water heater part and no body had the part I needed. Everyone kept telling me they would have order it. Well, I can order it for cheaper but I need it now. Decided to give Ace Hardware a shot and they had one in stock. Thanks Ace Hardware!!!

Ace hardware's always handy, carrying most things hardware stores carry, small parts, etc. This one has a nice BBQ grill section and the usual stuff for planting and fertilizing; for those who like Hallmark Cards stores, they carry that line in there too and some nice gifts for men. It's on the far SW side of BG, saves time rather than go to the big box lumberyards which have a lot more stuff, but I find myself buzzing over to Ace a lot. They send regular customers $5 coupons in the mail too.Cross town, one of the other Ace's re-SCREENS screened windows. Very hard to find these days--that one's over on Louisville Road, on BG's east side in a strip mall.

Called for propane. Young person didn't have a clue what I'm talking about. Call back and said person said my bad I thought you were wanting a price before. But didn't give any prices... 15 mins goes by and I call back. And they tell methe only person who can fill it is in the bathroom. 25 min wait and nob propane. I won't be back..
